This a great little cabin! We wanted some privacy rather than staying at the hotel in town and this was perfect! We each had our own space rather than being on top of each other in a hotel. We came to town for a wedding and requested early check in which was granted. Much appreciated! The beds were extremely firm so if you like that then you're good to go!

Mike communicated with me very well leading up to our stay. He is very nice to work with. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

A Cozy and Welcoming Stay with a lot of history– Highly Recommend! We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Graf House and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt an overwhelming sense of warmth and hospitality. The host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, providing thoughtful touches that made us right at home. The space itself was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and exuded a cozy charm. The bed was incredibly comfortable, allowing for restful nights, and the living area was perfect for unwinding after a long day. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and we appreciated the complimentary coffee and snacks. What truly set this stay apart was the host’s attention to detail. They leave a book so we can leave a handwritten note—a small but meaningful gesture. We highly recommend the Graf House!

It is always a pleasure to stay at the Kimball House, when we are in Fayette for Men’s Basketball games.

Our party of five adults stayed at Andy's place for a birthday weekend and had a great time. The cabin and surroundings are as described ~ clean, unique, private, quiet. We kayaked and fished in the pond and ate our meals on the deck; we loved the outdoor spaces and appreciated having the kayaks and the fire pit available. We traveled to Elkader and Decorah during the days. The cabin was just the right place to come back to.

Sharla was a terrific host. We needed a pack n play for my baby, and it was there for us. (But bring your own baby sheets.) The furniture and beds were comfy, check-in was easy, and it was a great spot to hang out with a few family members.
