Kitchen was exceptionally well stocked. Instructions were detailed and concise. Wood was even provided for the firepit and fireplace. Back deck was perfect for a relaxing cup of coffee in the morning while watching the squirrels, birds and deer. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We loved our experience at John’s cabin! It was so incredibly peaceful - our host could not have been more friendly & helpful, even on a holiday weekend, the woods were beautiful surrounding the lovely cabin on a hill, and the beds were comfy. We definitely wished we were staying longer than a weekend!

Wow! What a great experience! I would absolutely come back again. Please let me describe my experience. If you’ve never lived on a mountain or been in a mountainous area, be prepared but be in awe of the view and tranquility. There are plenty of places to frequent and visit but the best part is the silence and your surroundings. Build a fire, watch a movie, wake up early to see the sunrise. It is beautiful and tranquil. I would highly recommend especially to anyone who frequents the city; Get away and enjoy your stay! Thank you Abby for an awesome adventure ❤️ I will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin in Purcellville. The setting is very private and tranquil. We spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor accommodations. Inside, there is a very charming older portion to the house, and then added to that older portion is an addition, tastefully done to try and complement the original section. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed. Check in was easy, and the host, Ashley, was quick to respond and very helpful. I would recommend Ashley’s home to anyone looking to stay in the area.

We absolutely loved this rental and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We loved the large house, it was larger than needed for our family, but was great to be able to spread out and have our own space. Super clean and and neat. We spend days in DC, which was about an hour away with traffic and wonderful to come back to the house and relax, use the jacuzzi and fire pit. We've stayed at other rentals, but this one by far will stand out for our family forever. Thank you for being a great host and a wonderful house you have. This was such a peaceful and cozy home to stay in. The area was beautiful, and the house was well-equipped for our family. We were in town for a funeral, and it was a gift to have a space where we could gather and rest together. The screened porch and hot tub were favorites, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The host was responsive and kind, going above and beyond before our arrival. We did have a little trouble figuring out the thermostat—upstairs was warmer than expected—but there were fans in the closet that helped. It may have been user error, and I’m sure the host would have helped had we reached out, but honestly I kept forgetting to due to the chaos of the week. Just something to note. Overall, we’d definitely recommend this home and would love to return—hopefully under happier circumstances.

This was the perfect weekend getaway for my family! The location was even more beautiful than the pictures. There were so many fun things to do in and around the property. My kids had a wonderful time kayaking each day. I would definitely recommend and book here again in the future!

The cabin is just as described. Secluded and peaceful. Beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed the game room and decks and walking on the mountain roads.

This is a beautiful place! The views and property were as described - lovely view of nearby winery's grape vines and mountains. The cabin was well thought out for hanging out at the property with a nice big front porch for dining and a patio with a fire pit. Loved the pew-style bench dining nook. The place was very clean and the fresh cookies s'mores and other treats were a really nice welcoming touch. One thing to keep in mind is that there isn't a TV in the main room (there are TVs in the bedrooms) so something to keep in mind if you're gathering to watch the big game. Overall would definitely stay here again!

Idalma was a very great host. Beautiful property filled with green space. There are places to go for entertainment very close by. Also is very peaceful at night! Highly recommend and will happily book again in the near future!

Herry's place was beautifully decorated and very clean. The projector felt like we were in a theater watching a movie. It was perfect for movie night and our snacks from the general store nearby. The hot tub was winner and so easy to use! His guidebook was very useful to find great recommendations for places to eat. Overall, it was a great weekend getaway for the family.

The photos don’t do justice to the experience. A stunning lake view in a cabin setting with tons of fun for the kids. We canoed on the lake, threw the football, cooked a steak meal and ended the evening with s’mores. All of this with driving distance from the beltway for an amazing staycation. I will definitely be back for a weekend getaway from the weekly grind.

Wonderful and cozy stay in stunning setting - great if you want to go camping with a bit more comfort. The train was quite loud so good to be aware of that, but we had anticipated it so it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Hope to come back next year!

The house was as described, large and spacious and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the grandkids loved the bunk beds! The views were beautiful and it was nice to have a fenced in yard to let the dog and kids outside to play. We had no issues and would stay here again.

Peaceful place to stay in the woods w/wonderful view of mountains (& sunset) from front balcony. Serene view of woods from dining room with big windows that make you feel like ur eating outside. Decor is clean / not cluttered. Kitchen has all the things needed to make meals. We truly enjoyed our stay but only drawback is the house is not super accessible for those with mobility issues (cane). To enter house u have to walk around exterior to paver stones & then up some stairs to balcony. Garage can then be opened for access which saved us. There are a couple of steps inside the house between dining room/kitchen & hallway/office area. Stairs to downstairs are super duper steep - we knew there would be stairs but were surprised at the steepness so one in our party could not go downstairs at all. The challenge with that is there is only 1 TV in the whole house & it’s downstairs. With no bathroom downstairs our person staying in downstairs bedroom had to go upstairs for bathroom.

This was an awesome stay! The one thing I’d note is to be aware that when you book it’s in a wooded area. We had a run in with a harmless snake that got in the house, but were able to take care of it pretty quickly. There were also some hornets that got in the house. Just be aware that you’re in nature. Incredible property. Feels like going to camp in the best ways possible. Loads of room to spread out and great features. Boats were a lot of fun to take out.

The cabin and location was magical. Difficult to describe how wonderful our whole experience at Still Point was. Coming from England we were looking to experience rural America (after 5 days in New York city too). The peace and tranquility was immediate. You are not just 'close' to nature - you are 'in' the nature with the cabin nestled in seclusion, the deck level to the branches of surrounding tree, we were even lucky enough to see a graceful brown bear as we drove up on our first evening. The cabin is homely with more than everything you need. My husband, 2 teenage sons and I had such a wonderful adverture at Rolling Ridge - it was difficult to leave. On a practical note - all correspondence with MaryAnn and Kira was brilliant - really helpful and informative. I found all the instructions really helpful. Loved everything.

This is such a nice spot if someone wants to get away from a suburban/city enviroment. Super cozy vibes and the hosts were kind and checked in on us while we were there during a snow storm. Overall highly recommend. Very private and comfortable cabin experience.

The place was exactly as pictured. Very cozy and loved having water views everywhere. Definitely recommend it!
