Located on a quiet rural road just 7 miles north of Stephenville, this newly remodeled home is on a pond and has wooded acreage. The wide pond-side porch is scenic & great for both morning & evening use. The property is one mile from the Tarleton State University Rodeo Facility and close to Melody Mountain Ranch. The two first floor bedrooms each have a king sized bed. There is a queen bed in the bedroom upstairs and a trundle bed in the loft. The ground floor is all handicapped-accessible.

We had the best time and Joy was so responsive. She even adjusted the date for me since we had the wrong graduation date and was willing to accommodate our schedule. The home was cozy and there was anything and everything you would need for your stay from the extra toiletries to condiments and extras in the pantry to even toys and fishing equipment! My son was in heaven fishing at the pond. The views were breathtaking. If you are looking for a peaceful family getaway, this is a great spot! Joy checked in before our stay to see if we needed anything and even after we arrived. Such a great host!

Ashley’s place was a great little place to stay in Hico. Walkable to a breakfast spot and the chocolate shop. Ashley’s home was just as described and we would stay again!

Absolutely adorable cabin, decorated so cute. Very comfortable, on a beautiful piece of property. It was the perfect place to stay for our daughter’s graduation from Tarleton. I am so glad I booked it in September and had such a comfortable, clean place to stay this weekend. Cindy made everything so easy for us and we didn’t have to worry about anything. 💜🤍
