Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Edmonson County

Serenity Cove was very peaceful. If you're looking for a quiet hideaway, this is it! Our gang met here from AL, MI and WI, seven adults and one child. The fire pit and hot tub were a big hit. Plus there were lots of hiking trails nearby and we all enjoyed Mammoth Cave.

Our two families with young children thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Captains Cove with our main mission being to visit Mammoth Cave. Just 45 minutes from the park, Captains Cove was the perfect retreat for us. Kitchen had all the amenities we needed. Only recommendations I could think to make would be to possibly include a baby gate in a closet (lots of stairs!) otherwise, perfect for our families. Thank you!

What a wonderful house! Justin has thought of everything. The kitchen was fully stocked, the bed was very comfortable. The location is beautiful with decks and 2 fire pits. It is private and quiet and we would definitely recommend this home especially if you are coming with kids!

We really enjoyed our visit and the home was perfect for our trip to see Mammoth Caves and celebrate New Years Eve. Everything was very new and clean. We had two families, and the kids loved the bunk room and the basement den for playing. We found the kitchen to be well-stocked with what we needed to make meals, including the grill. Our favorite was the covered deck, which was perfect after the kids were asleep.

We were traveling through the area and needed to make a quick booking. Stephanie’s listing was so wonderful I wish we could have stayed longer. The kitchen was stocked well, there was an outstanding coffee bar, and even lots of snacks provided. The lines and home were clean and there were lots of games and goodies on hand for those going to the nearby lake. If we’re in the area again, we would definitely stay at Stephanie’s!

This place was just what we were looking for! The firepit and beautiful views were the highlights for us but everything else was wonderful as well.

This was the perfect home for my family's last minute escape to Mammoth Cave. The home was clean, spacious and well appointed with lots of fun games and spaces for us to enjoy. We particularly enjoyed the fire pit and the basement gaming area. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive. We look forward to staying here again for another Mammoth Cave adventure.

We loved our stay! The house was in perfect condition. We enjoyed the screened in porch to most! The house was fully stocked and every imaginable thing that you might need was provided. Very easy, very clean, we felt at home. 10/10 recommend!!

I cannot say enough great things about our stay at the Alexander! The room looked even better in person! Everything was super clean; sheets and towels smelled so fresh! Everything was well stocked in the bathrooms in case you forgot something. We ate at Steak & Stone and had great customer service and food! If you find yourself in the area or need a little date night, this was a great place to stay! Highly recommend!

What a great place! It had everything you could ever need & was so comfortable & welcoming! We appreciated that we could bring our dog with us on our travels. Beautiful scenery & walking trails! If I could leave more than 5 stars for extra credit, I would. It was an incredibly peaceful stay. The horses were serene. The dogs were so so friendly. My 10 year old LOVED the tree house and the creek. (She wants a creek in our yard now. lol) The space was exactly as described, looks just like the photos. All the comforts of home. The kitchen had any dishes, pots, pans, containers, foil, etc. you could possibly want to use. And so CLEAN! And Tracy and her family are the most lovely people. I enjoyed getting to know them. I highly recommend staying here!!!!

Stayed here for our daughter’s graduation weekend at WKU. The place is huge! We were afraid we wouldn’t have enough space when grandparents, all the siblings, her boyfriend, and boyfriend’s parents came over after the graduation ceremony. We were wrong. There was still plenty of room. Walking distance to downtown. Great Greek restaurant just one house down. Can easily walk to Western Kentucky’s campus also. Hate that we only discovered it as she was graduating. Much better than the hotel rooms we used before!

The Pergola House was absolutely perfect and exactly what we were looking for during our weekend in Oakland, Kentucky for a wedding. The home was beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully set up. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the location was incredibly convenient—just off the highway but still felt like a relaxing retreat. A train does pass nearby multiple times a day and at night, but we actually slept through most of it. We appreciated the thoughtful touch of sound machines and earplugs left for guests, though we didn’t end up needing them. I can’t wait to stay here again the next time I’m in town!
