Sam’s place was a great central location for us during our stay. It was comfortable, spacious, and the roof top balcony was great to enjoy!

This place is in the perfect location close to restaurants, shops, grocery, anything you need. Nora was extremely responsive to questions. The place is perfect, especially for our dog. Great backyard that we used a lot. Comfortable, clean, and well stocked! There’s kids plates/silverware, dog bed/toys/bowls…really thought about everything.

We placed a reservation months prior to our stay, so it goes without saying we’d been anticipating it - but I’m serious when I say the ONLY disappointment of staying at Nikki’s place was having to leave! From check in to check out - we had a wonderful time. The view is unparalleled - with substantial changes of tide and filled with wildlife, either swooping in from above (bald eagles) or popping up from below (otters, seals and even an orca whale). The home itself has everything you’d need - it’s literally jaw dropping how stunning it is. When a storm rolls in, It makes it easy to deal with (you could spend all day inside and be thankful for the view)…. And when the weather clears? It’s hard to describe, you just need to see it. The stairs are real - but my own mom (who’s in her 70s) had no problems with it - well lit and maintained - just pack smartly, else get a workout. This has been our top stay and we’ve had some GREAT ones. Nikki made everything easy. We hope to return!

We had such a lovely stay here over the Easter weekend – it was everything we hoped for and more! The house is clean, beautifully kept, and the views? Absolutely breathtaking. It’s one of those rare places that feels even better in person than in the pictures. It had everything we could possibly need – and then some. The hosts were simply wonderful – super friendly, accommodating, and just really easy to talk to. They made the whole experience feel warm and personal, not distant or transactional in any way. They even let us check in early and check out late, which made a huge difference for us with kids. Our days were filled with beach walks, seafood harvesting adventures, backyard chill time, and gorgeous sunsets. It felt like a perfect little reset from our busy lives. We were also celebrating our daughter’s 4th birthday during the stay, and she had an absolute blast. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Dale & Carol.

We had a great stay at this cabin. It was close to the water with wonderful views, and it was convenient to be able to take the kayaks straight down from the house for some afternoon paddling. We saw so much wildlife while out on the water, including bald eagles, hawks, egrets, crabs, and starfish. Gail was a responsive host, helped us out with flexible check in and check out times, and even mailed us a set of earbuds that one of our group forgot at the cabin. Thanks for a great stay, Gail!

My now husband and I rented Anna’s place because it was a 15 minute drive to Gig Harbor where we were getting married. The location was perfect for us to keep our wedding stuff there and get to the venue in great time. The place was clean, quiet, and comfortable.

The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

Olga is a great host! Very responsive and helpful. Her place is beautiful and has a wonderful view. Always enjoy staying in the Newmark Building.

Nice location downtown. Was met at check in and given a tour, which was very nice. Place was nice, as advertised. My kids enjoyed swimming in the indoor pool.

Perfect location if you like walking. House is a bit quirky, but once you get used to it - quite pleasant. We appreciated the many towel, bathrobes and hot tub. Owner was very responsive.

We've had a great time in Tari's cottage. It was very comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed and the fireplace was a great bonus. We also loved walking the neighborhood and trails. Highly recommend. Thank you!

The view here is absolutely phenomenal! We anticipated it being beautiful; however, you can’t even imagine until you walk into the home. Every glance, you will be in complete awe. The hot tub on the deck is obviously a wonderful feature, but every person in the house seemed to equally like the shower. We left researching how to redo our shower at home, ha! We already ordered the same bathroom towels. Absolute heavenly linens in our opinion. The shore is a short walk from the house. My son loved walking down & was ecstatic when he found several whole seashells on the beach. A few things we did not utilize; however, took notice of: The fully stocked kitchen, the thought that the hosts put into making it a place for families to enjoy, IE: high chairs, mini blinds tied up high, toys, family friendly movies, ect. And several heaters & fans to accommodate various household temps. It was also very clean for being pet friendly which is hard to find. We would definitely stay again.

This was such a wonderful place for my family to stay for a weekend getaway. It is full of charm and made us feel like woodland creatures living in luxury: my daughter a fairy princess, my wife a wood nymph or elf, and me a wizard/elf. We also took the boat to Seattle one day, which was super easy.

Beautiful view and walkable location. We loved being able to walk over to the little park, and along the sound boardwalk. There are 2 beds, soft, and 2 sleeping sofas that are firm. Theres a large open dining space, and wonderful kitchen large enough to set up for a family. The backyard is fenced in well for medium or larger dogs, but watch your pet if you have smaller dog. The backyard lawn was natural with beautiful lavender blue bells, lush uncut grasses, and some dandelions. The host has included very thoughtful details, such as bi-motion pleated shades for privacy, and comfy touches. Morning coffee is wonderful in a comfy blue velvet oversized chair facing the view of the sound. We really appreciated the good wall heaters, as it gets very chilly in the evening so close to sound. Parking was conveniently near the front door.

Absolutely loved this place for a 4-night stay while visiting Mt Rainier NP and surroundings. Highly recommend!

Very cute, secluded and private place right on the beach with expansive views from Browns Point to the Narrows. Easy to find, clearly marked driveway. Very responsive host, very comfortable and clean cottage, wonderful place to spend a few quiet nights. The firepit right on the bulkhead was A+, lovely spot to watch the ferry go back and forth on a warm evening.
