Capitol Views, Hot Tub, Walk to Everything

Deborah KincaidRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This home was a little more than others we considered but you get what you pay for. It was so nicely furnished, comfortable, and clean. The location was great, close to markets and restaurants. We were close to the most popular things to see and do but since we had little ones, we could drive very easily. There is a playground right across the street. We could also park right across the street or around the corner. Liza responded promptly to questions and was very easy to communicate with. The guys enjoyed the rooftop and the view was amazing! We are a family of five adults, one child and baby. I highly recommend this home and we certainly hope to stay here again. You will be pleased with this choice.

Eric is an amazing host and person! Super friendly when it came to using the amenities and made us feel at home. Has great recommendations for food and local attractions. Beautiful property to walk around or just sit outside! Overall a 10/10 experience while staying at Eric’s home, couldn’t have asked for a better host for our weekend!

Wyndham National Harbor * 2BR Presidential Suite

My husband and I wanted to do a relaxing getaway in a place with a jacuzzi... This was perfect. Its in the middle of National Harbor, so its right next to all sorts of restaurants etc. The suite is great, featuring a kitchen, living room, master bedroom and bath with jacuzzi, and 2nd bedroom and bathroom. We could eat out or eat in, since there is a CVS within walking distance.

Wyndham National Harbor ツ 3 Bedroom Deluxe!

RebeccaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Very nice place to stay near Gaylord convention center. Super clean condo. All the essentials are there. Lots to do at the resort as well as nearby walking distance. Having a baby in the group we did quite a bit of laundry. A laundry room was on our floor with two washers and four dryers and free of charge. We barely passed anyone on the seventh floor. We would def stay here again.

Historic Row House. Solar Powered!

DeniseRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
It's a beautiful space, lots of light and lots of room to spread out. The neighborhood is a little noisy due to construction, but when the front door is closed you can barely hear anything. There are restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed our dinner at Wonderland Ballroom. Target is close by for groceries and miscellaneous items, and the metro station is across the street from Target. The buses run often and Uber has no problem finding the location. The caretaker was very friendly and made sure we were set. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and we felt completely safe and comfortable.

Astoundingly Charming Bungalow, Bells & Whistles!

MindyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a great stay in Silver Spring! Were visiting family and also doing some sightseeing in Washington, DC. The bungalow was well located, and the perfect size for our family of 3. Our tween daughter loved having her own room, and the full kitchen meant we could stock up on breakfasts and snacks. The Metro is close with easy access to DC, and the Sligo Creek trail was great for a walk.

Pet Friendly Private BSMT w/Parking & Backyard

DarontéRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a great stay! I was visiting DC for the first time with my girlfriend, who is a DC native for Mother’s Day weekend. The place was affordable and clean, just like the photos, and had everything I needed; free parking, WiFi, and even some refreshments, which was a nice touch. The location was super convenient and close to a lot of spots I wanted to check out. The only minor issue was the dogs and family upstairs being a bit loud at times, but we understood since the hosts live above and that’s to be expected. Miguel was very helpful and friendly throughout the stay. Would definitely recommend—10/10!

Capitol Hill-1BR basement apt-Free parking

SusanRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Monica’s little suite was cute. It was clean and tidy, with the basic amenities. The bedroom is tiny but the bed was super comfortable. The living room is more of a hallway with a little couch in it but it had a tv with lots of channels. The kitchen is large with all the dishes you might need but no condiments at, except salt and pepper, so if you plan on cooking, you will need to buy everything for your meals. There are some coffee pods and creamers and sugar, so you can start your day with a nice cup of coffee. There is a washer and dryer but you will need to buy detergent if you wish to do laundry. The area is a long walk, at least 45-60 minutes from the national mall and all those sights but a little closer to the Capitol. There is a whole foods about a 10 minute walk away, and a few restaurants. Monica was one of the most responsive host that I have ever dealt with. She was quick to respond to every inquiry and so helpful with our questions about the area. A comfortable stay!

Capitol Hill 1BD-Cari's in the City

JassiraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great stay while on a work trip. Plenty of recommendations, thoughtful touches, and everything needed to use the washing machine, dishwasher, etc. Cari and Bill were responsive and helpful when needed. One thing I do want to note is that the mattress is pretty hard and the pillows, while plentiful, are pretty flat. It's still a lovely spot to stay, well located and with a beautiful front garden that was lovely to come "home" to every evening.

Private Retreat Apt. in DC. Pets are Welcome Free!

AlexRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Natasha is a lovely host, and the apartment is beautifully decorated. The newly created bathroom is compact and efficient, and the kitchen has a full range and a microwave, with appropriate dishes, pots and pans, a fancy coffee machine, and the extra bonus of a number of staples, such as vegetable oil. Parking on the street works well, though turning around (to park in front of the house) is a challenge during rush hour. The home is very close to Rock Creek Park, which afforded access to the upper reaches of Connecticut Avenue, NW, except during a heavy rainstorm one morning when Beach Drive flooded and I had to go out and around the other way.

2 BR Apartment Walking Distance to National Museum

BillyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The location of this unit cannot be beat. It's a short walk to virtually all of the monuments, museums, White House, and the Capitol Building. The unit was spotless, everything worked, and the building has some great amenities like a pool and exercise rooms. I wouldn't hesitate to use this unit in this location for another trip to downtown Washington DC. The available parking, in the building, makes it a great spot to just leave your car and spend the rest of your trip on foot.

Charming 3BR Rowhouse in Shaw/Bloomingdale

Nathan has a lovely home—it feels like stepping back in time into one of old Washington’s charming houses. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and communication with Nathan was excellent. The location is convenient, about a 25-minute walk to Capitol Hill. While the surrounding area could be better—the streets were a bit dirty—it wasn’t a big deal and didn’t affect our overall experience. We had a wonderful time in Washington, and staying at this house was definitely part of it. Thank you, Nathan!
