Places to stay in Crawfordville

Wonderful condo right on the water! Accurately described although larger than we expected. Note that it’s up a flight of stairs to the main level (living room & kitchen), and then up another flight to both bedrooms and bathrooms. Not an issue for us but something to keep in mind if limited mobility. The host was very responsive, including adding a beach umbrella to the house when I inquired and giving us late checkout. Would happily stay there again!

A perfect place to spend a weekend for work. Corine’s place was comfortable and clean. The area is close to downtown, yet peaceful and quiet at night. Walking distance to a supermarket was a plus! Thanks so much!

This is my second time staying at Dan's. I love the eccentricity and quirkiness. Right on 98, great restaurants nearby.

A traditional 1960's split-level home with some modifications to increase sleeping capacity, although showing it's age to some degree. If looking for contemporary perfection, this would not be a good choice, but worked well for us at a reasonable cost. No formal dining room, but two separate living areas and a large outdoor seating area. We were in town for our son's wedding and the sleeping capacity allowed us to house our other 4 kids, spouses and a couple of grandchildren, so it fit our needs perfectly. Two downstairs bedrooms occupy the former garage and share a connecting bathroom, that shower is under construction, but should be completed soon. Amber was flexible with our special requests, including two mature dogs, (with pet deposit), which we appreciated. Located in a quiet suburban neighborhood, just a block away from a nice park with walking trails, lake and playground, which we enjoyed (GPS really useful). Summary, would we stay there again- yes, without hesitation.

Rorry’s place was very nice and cozy! We felt very comfortable and greatly appreciated all of her easy instructions and responses. The beds were very comfortable and the place was very clean. Rorry allowed us to keep our car parked in the driveway while we went to Easter mass at the church across the street, which we very much appreciated. Thank you again Rorry! We would definitely stay here again!

Our already special visit became x-tra special among the sweet swaying pine trees of this shaded lovely home, a bird-watchers’ & hiker’s delight. The décor is fresh & enjoyable, kitchen is easy to work in & large screened porch is like an enclosed living room. Jennifer is accommodating, granting early check-in as there were no prev. guests.We enjoyed walking to both the St. George Sound non-swimming waters, lovely to look at from the convenient front porch perches, as much as we liked following the nearby public easement path to the Gulf Shore, where we found empty shells to wash & add to the glass jar collection on a side table. The bed is comfortable, bathrooms are extra clean & views out the many windows are a pleasure. As we toured the island & returned to this wooded retreat we realized how solidly built, with extra features of endurance, this house was created for the family who obviously lovingly cares for it.

Picture perfect wedding for our son and his new bride. Host was extremely helpful with wedding vendors, ideas and more. We stayed the week and could not have picked a more perfect space for our small celebration. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The wedding photos are stunning.

Tacorra’s place was perfect for my large family gathering and to attend a local engagement party we traveled far for. It was the perfect spot to relax, get ready and get a good night sleep. Such a pretty home. Very clean and organized. Tacorra is also fabulous and so responsive, helpful, and understanding. Communication is perfect with her. Thank you!
