Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Costilla County

The home was beautiful, clean, & homey. Remote, but easy to find if you follow the hosts directions. We stayed 4 nights, and were thrilled that the horses showed up one evening. Taos was only an hour away, and a fun day trip. The coffee shop in San Luis was also amazing. The only slight drawbacks would be the limited water and no trash service. Having a larger group and a longer stay, we worried about running out of water. However, we were just fine and Rebecca was great about letting us know the level. A short stay wouldn't need to worry. Having traveled from over 9 hrs away, hauling off the trash was a worry. However Rebecca was awesome, and made arrangements for us with a neighbor. We would absolutely recommend this home.

I was very comfortable at Patrick’s! The yurt was so near the national park. As a solo female traveler, I felt at ease with the stay and appreciated Patrick’s clear instructions/ communication. I would happily stay here again!

Firstly- what an AMAZING spot! It felt like we had acres to ourselves and the dogs. Only wildlife around was some horses that we saw. We had an issue with communication at first, but once we told Hayden what time we were coming in, he was quick to respond when we had questions. You can’t beat this spot for secluded camping for this price

This heavenly stay was our favorite thus far in the past 3 years visiting the area (several times a year)! It’s no small thing to find a home where a family of 9 can comfortably play & sleep! We knew waking up to that view of Mt Blanca would be magnificent but pictures cannot capture it fully. And roasting smores around the gorgeous fire pit under those Blanca stars is what our Wonder Years with the children are made of! This momma also loved having access to cleaning products to tidy up through the week! I love being able to keep a beautiful home beautiful! This home had wonderful extra amenities like fresh farm eggs & s’more supplies! I also have to include that we saw wild horses up close one morning and an entire herd of deer moving through the valley! We didn’t want to leave! The hosts were incredible, kind and always available. We will look forward to our next stay here!

We had an absolutely lovely stay here. The house itself is situated with a fantastic view out the front across the plain and the back face the local mountain range making for an idyllic spot. The house itself is very new and nicely appointed. The kitchen was very well appointed while the living and were comfortable and tastefully decorated. All this and close to the great sand dunes park makes it a place we hope to return to again.

This is a gem. This Airbnb has quickly become one of our favorite stays of all time, and we’ve been all over the world. The view is truly stunning, and the house was smartly appointed. Rachael and Daron were exemplary hosts, and it was easy to tell that they put thought into the details. We can’t wait to come back again someday.

This is such a comfortable cabin! Make sure you plan for 30 minutes to get to the cabin from town and another 30 to get back into town. You will feel like you are visiting at your friends house! It is so laid back and beautiful. The mosquitoes are definitely thick but get a Thermacell and that will help. Enjoy being out away from everything and unwind. This is certainly a location to unplug from work and enjoy the visit with your family. Thanks Erika for sharing your home and being so quick to respond to our requests!
