Family-friendly vacation rentals in Clare County

Adorably comfortable modern home on Canadian Lakes. We had a wonderful time here! The house had everything one would need, and plenty of space for our larger group. Susan, the property manager, made our stay effortless and was so nice and helpful in every way, even responding over the weekend to the couple of questions we had. Even the neighbors were super nice! We definitely will be back for a longer stay!

Extremely unique layout and design of house. The house easily accommodated our whole party and the deck, hot tub, River, and kitchens were wonderful. The house is fully stocked with all amenities that other AirBnBs often lack like towels, toiletries, kitchen appliances/basic spice/condiments. The property is densely forested and feels very secluded. Great stay.

This is our 4th consecutive year of staying at Elaine's home for our Ferris Roommates annual reunion. We look forward to many more years of gathering there. Thanks Elaine for sharing your beautiful home and for always making us feel extremely comfortable. What a wonderful weekend we all had.

This was our second time staying at Jennifer's place. We absolutely love it! It is perfect for our family of 4. A short walk down the driveway and you are at a park, beach, and fishing dock. The beach is great! The water is clear and no seaweed. My son and I caught small blue gills at the fishing dock, and my daughter loves the park. Also, be sure to check out The Depot (10 min walk) for ice cream and pizza! Well be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay at Matt’s place with our dog. It was exactly the tranquil, comfortable and enjoyable getaway we needed. Beautiful views of the lake. Loved relaxing on the large deck while our dog was able to safely explore, thanks to the fenced in yard. Super clean inside, everything we could need. Our vacation started as soon as we arrived. Great location too as it’s a short drive to several nice parks and trails in Gladwin and the surrounding towns. We highly recommend Matt and his place!

We felt right at home and was the perfect place to take our dogs for their first vacation. Beautiful lakefront and walkable to the local bar/restaurant. Can’t wait to go back.

We loved staying here! We took our son to fish up north and we loved this area to show him around! The cabin was right on the water which was so beautiful. We would definitely go back!

We will absolutely book again at Clear Lake Resort! The cabin was perfect for what we needed and I really appreciated being able to bring our dog! It was spotlessly clean and the communication from the resort was helpful and timely. Looking forward to our next visit!

Beautiful views, quaint, comfortable, and homey place to unwind and recharge! Local store and restaurant within walking distance. Everything you might have forgotten and need is a short drive into town.

An absolutely beautiful space and amazing hosts. I had the perfect stay with Monica and Gary, they were so friendly and helpful. The apartment is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in by far, the view from the balcony is beautiful and the lake access is beautiful with a large sandy beach. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit lake city. Also, very comfy beds and a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay. Very clean, very roomy. Way better than what we expected for the price. Was a completely set up kitchen (pots, pans, utensils, etc… even seasonings. Very impressed all and all I highly recommend anyone staying here. And if we come back to this location we will be sure to book it again.

This was the perfect place for our group! Harrison is my mom's hometown, and we convened with family for a few joint birthdays. Sue was so sweet! She even brought over taco shell holders after we mentioned we would be having a taco dinner night!! All in all, the house is beautiful, well-appointed, and the location is amazing. I would absolutely stay here again!

This roomy, comfortable lakefront home provided a wonderful summer gathering spot for our eleven-member family. Sleeping bunks were ideal for out five grandsons as were the multiple bathrooms. The shallow walk out lake, paddle boat and kayaks kept them busy all day and the ample grassy area was perfect for lawn games. The large kitchen was well stocked and made meal preparation easy. The home was clean, well-organized and well stocked with anything we needed. Matt was a pleasure to work with from our first inquiries to our departure and beyond. Always providing a quick response to questions and detailed information about the home.
