Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Clallam County

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was clean, spacious, and quiet, with plenty of fun amenities. It was the perfect and most comfortable stop between visits to the beach and the rainforest. We’d love to come back again!

Everything was clean and plenty of beds for a family of 6 but make note there is no dishwasher. Not a huge deal but we spend a lot of time sightseeing and don’t want to spend a lot of time washing dishes. Very convenient to a cute little stop suggested by the homeowner -the Westend Taproom and the coffee shop in the parking lot across from the property is great. The driving distance to Hoh and Rialto Beach is reasonable. Walking distance to everything in town so in that regard location is great. Privacy is limited with the health department directly outside the home. Check in and instructions were very easy. Enjoyed our time in this area.

We enjoyed our stay. I do recommend coming prepared with meals to cook as forks doesn’t have a ton to offer. Beds were comfortable. We were thankful for the features that made traveling with kids easier. Place was clean and plenty of room to cook and spread out.

Margie and Stan were exceptional hosts. We didn't have a chance to interact with them much but any time we did, they were both very warm and kind. There is a lot of care and heart put into their place and it felt special to come back to after a day of exploring Olympic or the local area. There's an impressive amount of detail that I haven't seen many other places - instructions for all appliances, labels making things easier to find and even physical menus of local restaurants with helpful notes on a some of them to name a few. The view is gorgeous, from the mountains to the garden right outside - the pictures looked nice to begin with but still exceeded our expectations! The amount of light the room gets is great and they also had nice blinds if we wanted even more privacy. We're already hoping to stay here again the next time we see Olympic!

This cute place is super close to downtown Forks! We could beat the rush to the Hoh rainforest without having to wake up uncomfortably early. We loved the Twilight merch and DVDs. It was clean, and the kitchen space was a perfect size. We appreciated the local guide and restaurant recommendations. It took us a minute to find since there were several units at the one address, but there is a wooden sign with the correct name you can look for! The host responded quickly when we had trouble connecting to the wifi. The checkout instructions were very minimal and clear. Would stay here again!

Beverly was great to communicate with! She let us check in 2 hours early which was so helpful for our baby girl so she could nap! The location was beautiful! They were so accommodating! We will definitely be staying here again!

This place was fantastic. It was so hard to leave, even after three nights. The lodging decor is cozy, very comfortable with lots of nice seating options and has all that you need. Enjoyed making meals in the ample kitchen (oil & a few seasonings) and watching the wind and water through the wall-to-wall windows. For those with mobility concerns, there are five gradual gravel steps down to your entry door (it's on the lowest floor of an occupied 3-story home) and a short gradual gravel slope down the driveway and along side of house to get down to the very private lower section of the property. Your lower water-view yard is very private with a picnic table for a peaceful outdoor lunch with a view. Loved Betsy's tea and coffee options, the banana muffins and homemade bread were delightful. Quiet lodging with minimal walking sounds from above. Open communication was prompt and check-in/out was easy. I can't wait to return with my sweetie. This was an AirBnB favorite, for sure.

I loved my stay here. I felt like I was in my own little apartment. It was so quiet, tidy, private and peaceful. I loved the location for the hiking I had planned for Olympic National Park! I was nervous traveling as a solo female but felt really safe. The place is cozy and I felt right at home. Helene provided a lot of thoughtful extras like fresh flowers from the yard, chocolates, fruit and cookies. I would not hesitate to book here again.

My dog and I had a great short "staycation" at Brad's place after spending the previous couple days camping outside of Olympic National Park! The hot tub was quite welcome after a few days of hiking. :) Perfect place to take a dog since the back yard/patio area is fully fenced. I also loved the fancy shower and all the design details. Would've loved to have a real oven, but that was the only drawback (and is clearly noted on the listing, so I knew I wouldn't going in). I will be back!

The photos did not do the view justice, it was one of the most beautiful views we have seen. In the morning the fog rolling over the mountains and the only sound you hear is the occasional goose. The lake was calm and crystal clear. Perfect location between Port Angeles and HOH rainforest with many nearby activities both nightlife and exploration. We will be staying here again!

Amazing view of unbelievably blue water! The space was comfy and clean. Prime location to things in the Olympic National Park. If you have people staying in the adjoining condo, there’s a little bit of awkwardness with privacy but not a big deal overall. Host communicates well!

This is a great place to stay if you're visiting Olympic National Park! The neighborhood is quiet, and is away from the busier areas while still being close to the grocery store, restaurants, and downtown experiences. The kitchen was well-stocked with plates, utensils, etc., and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Best vacation stay!! The pictures don’t even do it justice!! The location is absolutely perfect!! Being right on the water and you get the sunset ahhh it was amazing!! They have all the things!! Super clean, so many cozy blankets!!! Cool basement space, we got to use the canoe, and the swimming hole was the best part! The lake is so clear and way better than lake Crescent in our opinion for swimming and doing activities on the water. We couldn’t get our kids to leave the swimming hole. Highlyyyy recommend!!
