Bach's Goldberg Variations and Six Partitas. I will welcome my guests into my property, inside the Cinque Terre National Park, where they will visit a young vineyard, learn about the building techniques of the old dry stone walls that are peculiar to this area and hear some historical background of what makes our area so unique. Afterwards, they will enjoy a full lunch or dinner, a selection of wines and my homemade lemon liqueurs while enjoying classical piano music played live. I provide transportation for a maximum of 10 guests per session, from Riomaggiore and back, at my expense. The whole event will take place outdoors, on my terrace above the vines. We will arrive in Vernazza one of the villages most loved by tourists, and finally we will arrive in Monterosso, the largest village, and we will admire its beaches. Learn to make the most famous salsa in Liguria: PESTO!! Cook with me, I've learned from Grandma Linda! We make everything from scratch, by pestle and mortar, using only selected ingredients! We will be in a typical Cinque Terre winery, furnished with stone and wood, a dip in 19th-century Vernazza! After preparing pesto, we will taste 3 wines from Cinque Terre and 3 Ligurian oils and eat our sauce with the typical focaccia!

In this experience you will learn how to make Genoese Pesto by pounding all the ingredients in a mortar, according to the traditional technique and according to the recipe of my grandmother who, with her personal mortar, prepared it when I was little. Finally, you can taste the sauce that you have made with a plate of testaroli, a typical Lunigiana pasta, a glass of wine and between pleasant chats you will discover the history and tradition behind which the flavors of Ligurian cuisine are hidden. The experience takes place in an authentic XVI century private house in Riomaggiore where you will find the table ready and, after a glass of prosecco, we can start working to create the best pesto you have ever tasted and enjoy a wonderful terrace overlooking the sea. The tour start from the little dock of Manarola, at the same dock from where the ferries to Cinque Terre depart aboard an 8-meter open boat. It runs along the 5 villages from Manarola towards Monterosso. Arriving at Guvano beach, behind Corniglia, we stop for the first swim break; with snorkeling equipment you can admire the clear waters and the local fish. It starts again with a panoramic view of the coast and all the various types of sedimentary rocks, explanations on the paths and the type of wine produced, another swim stop after the view of the seaside village of Vernazza to then reach the last of the 5 lands, Monterosso. After the view of the village and the beaches, the route is reversed to return to Riomaggiore, another swim stop one mile from the coast, drinking good prosecco, waiting for the sunset to then return to Manarola

Come to visit my family vineyard and taste our wine! We will take a short trek of about half an hour to reach the Eroico Vineyard, one of the most beautiful in the Cinque Terre. Much of the route is uphill, but during the walk we will stop in different spot to relax, enjoy the view and discover the history of Vernazza and the Cinque Terre. Once in the vineyard, we will taste three different glasses of Eroico wine, produced by my dad and me. Moreover, you will be able to taste local snack, prepered by my mom. In my family vineyard, you can discover a Unesco Heritage and enjoy an unique view on Vernazza, in a really peaceful atmosphere and far from the crowd. I will accompany you throughout the experience. We will meet in Levanto, at our garage (located in via Galli 62, 7-minute walk from the train station). After the explanations on the correct use of pedal-assisted bicycles, we effortlessly start to go uphill in the beautiful valley of Levanto, where our journey into the beauty and the history of this region begins. Stops for taking pictures are always welcome. The first longer stop is at the sacred sanctuary of "Madonna di Soviore", right above Monterosso. This amazing place has 1300 years of history, and the panorama of the National Park and the coast towards Portofino is simply amazing. Here you can also find a cafeteria, a restroom, and a fountain for refilling your bottle of water. We then proceed further into the National Park of the Cinque Terre. The panorama slowly opens at the point that we will be able to see the coast of the Cinque Terre until Riomaggiore. If the air is dry enough, it's also possible to see Corsica on the horizon. We arrive at a panoramic spot right above Vernazza. From here we can have the most iconic view of the Cinque Terre: the small colorful houses, the small bay of Vernazza, the clear water of the Ligurian Sea, and the hills and vineyards surrounding the town. Paradise has to be nearby! ;-) In another 5 minutes, we arrive at the second sacred sanctuary that we visit on the tour: "Madonna di Reggio", above Vernazza. Here we

Superb hand-made traditional cuisine, whose simple yet precious secrets will be shared in a friendly, homely environment facing the Gulf of Poets. You will have what I had when I was a child at my home: a full immersion experience in the authentic Italian cuisine. Specifically, we will travel together back and forth from Liguria and Campania discovering traditional recepies, made of selected, genuine and local ingredients (and there will be much more than Pesto and tiramisù!). Handmade pasta, cakes, savory pie all easy recipes that you may do again at your home. I like to cook seasonal foods and I love to take fresh vegetables from the local marcket.. We’ll learn how to transform those ingredients in delicious dishes. The cooking lesson will be paired with complementary Italian wine and home-made spirits, which will make your experience unforgettable(!). The meeting point is Mamma Chica's Restaurant, where Francesco, the owner of the structure, will take you to his land where you can pick the fresh basil. After you go to the restaurant where the hall will be set up with all the necessary. We'll start with the cleaning of basil and you'll learn the origins of basil and his ingredients, the reason why you have to follow all the steps of the recipe and little advice. Then the production of the fresh pasta like tagliatelle o other that the group will decide alla togheter, All the ingredient will be in the room also the mortar from Carrara to make the pesto. Making pesto is relaxing and our location is sourrondend by greenery on La Spezia's hill, a perfect palce to have a relaxing and delicious day. Our goal is to get in touch with the origins of the food and tell you the cooking culture in Liguria. When all the ingredients will be ready, you'll start to cook and enjoy your meal with the group!
