After laying the sailingboat down into the water, we'll learn how to hoist the two sails (and their names), and we'll try to catch the wind to address to some of the most beautiful lake coast and well known villages: the famous Bellagio, Varenna, Menaggio. We'll learn how to trim the sails, to helm the boat in function of the wind direction; and how to keep the fastest boat track in order to maximize wind pressure. We'll try to make a mooring at the buoy and at the quay. If the wind strength changes, we'll change the sails in order to let you understand how sailing safely. We'll learn how to recognize sky signals (bad weather coming, wind reinforcement, wind direction change). There will be also time to admire the gorgeous landscape, relax and dip into the water for a refreshing bath. It will be not a sailing teaching lesson (it is not the experience purpose): feeling the wind and learning what means the use of its force to move a boat in silence, without the use of any engine..... priceless. I will teach you how prepare some of your favorite dishes from italian cuisine. While cooking I will also talk about nutrition facts (proteins, carbohidrates, sugar.....)and how creating balanced meals. I will tell you what's important for your health, what's better to avoid and how to combine foods. You will be cooking with me and at the end of the class you will eat what you created with me. We will start the adventure while exploring the most beautiful places in Como. The streets of the city will be the perfect backdrop for our shooting. We will live together the beauty of its historic center of small narrow roads. It will be a relaxed walk while I take some amazing candid photos and pirtraits with the city, the lake and different spots as your background. We will stop on the lakefront to admire the view. Are we going to photograph Italian-style over coffee? Don't be afraid we’ll help in the best poses for the photos. Even if this is your first experience of the photoshoot I will help you to relax and have fun. I'll provide 30 HD edited photos (individual) and 50 (for a couple) by private gallery in 8 days after the session. If you want a private photoshoot, a special date with your love, wedding, group of friends or others, please send me a message before. I will be happy to talk to you and answer all your questions. In this experience I will show you my city walking through the alleys and stairways of Bellagio. We will stop to admire Lake Como from a point where the view from above is wonderful. I'll tell you anecdotes of my city and we'll get to know each other a bit during the course. We will arrive down to the edge of the lake and walk a bit along the lakefront where the landscape becomes all close together. Here we will have the Lake and the mountains behind you. Half of the time we will be in the middle of the alleys and the other half by the lake. In all this time I will take photos of you, we will do some poses and some natural photos. We start from the heart of a small Renaissance hamlet with traditional cobbled streets and historic stone houses. Follow the quiet cycle path that was originally the old railway line connecting Lake Como to Lake Lugano. Pass the charming Lake Piano nature reserve, hidden Romanesque churches and tiny villages before arriving directly on the beach of Lake Lugano with expansive views across the water. Explore the old centre of Porlezza, the perfect spot for an ice-cream or aperitivo, before starting the climb into the mountains. Ride a section of original medieval road and weave through the quaint village squares of Velzo and Naggio. Finish with a panoramic downhill ride with views across Lake Como. This active experience showcases the diverse scenery of the area and shares fun anecdotes of real people's lives. Difficulty: This is a mini adventure of 28km with uphills, downhills, narrow village roads and easy gravel sections. Athleticism and confidence on a geared bike are required. The purpose is to learn to make pizza without professional equipment, so we will bake our pizzas in a kitchen oven. I will give you all the tips to bake a pizza, crafted with your own hands, that you will want to share with your family, friends, and everyone around you. You will learn how to knead the dough and handle the fermentation. I will tell you how to choose, prepare, and use the toppings for your pizza. Also, I will show you the baking strategy to obtain a pizza that is crispy outside and very airy inside. After the class, I will mail the step-by-step recipe to you. My name is Omar Olmi, and I am an experienced command and in love with Lake Como. We will start from the Le Vele di Argegno pier, in front of the church, where I will greet you and give you a quick briefing on safety regulations and then we will leave. We will start from the small village of Argegno, and we will take a private tour with captain on Lake Como. On the boat you will have water, soft drinks, beer and Prosecco wine. We will see the village of Colonno, Sala Comacina, Isla Comacina. Here we will stop for the first swim. I welcome you to my home, a typical Lombard house made from a barn/wood-burning, a house furnished with grandma's furniture, which I gave a second life to by adding my personal touch. I'll make you a different bruschetta appetizer to socialize, then serve a plate of pesto lasagna with fresh homemade pasta. You'll have the opportunity to learn about pasta and I'll share my passion for local cuisine and traditions. We will close with a dessert, ideally with the typical urtadel of this area, or with one of my own cakes of the moment.

This fantastic circular route delivers it all: hidden villages, rustic charm, spectacular lake views, quiet mountain roads to cycle, and a stop on Lake Lugano. We start from the heart of a small Renaissance hamlet with traditional cobbled streets and historic stone houses. Follow the quiet cycle path that was originally the old railway line connecting Lake Como to Lake Lugano. Pass the charming Lake Piano nature reserve, hidden Romanesque churches and tiny villages before arriving directly on the beach of Lake Lugano with expansive views across the water. Explore the old centre of Porlezza, the perfect spot for an ice-cream or aperitivo, before starting the climb into the mountains. Ride a section of original medieval road and weave through the quaint village squares of Velzo and Naggio. Finish with a panoramic downhill ride with views across Lake Como. This active experience showcases the diverse scenery of the area and shares fun anecdotes of real people's lives. Difficulty: This is a mini adventure of 28km with uphills, downhills, narrow village roads and easy gravel sections. Athleticism and confidence on a geared bike are required. An e-bike is a normal geared bicycle with additional battery assistance for uphills. OPTIONAL: Pick up from Menaggio ferry station paid on-site and requested in advance. The ferry connects to Bellagio, Varenna and Como among others.

I host you on board in Menaggio or Varenna in the best time to enjoy the lake, when the light becomes red, just before the sunset. We will do together a relaxing sail with the last brease of the day, going first in front of Varenna, the "Pearl of Como Lake", where you can take some pictures and enjoy the best view of the village with the unique prospective from the lake. This is the most characteristic place, with the small colored houses hugging the historichal Church in the middle. Then we go to Bellagio, the most famous village in centre of the lake. While you will enjoy the sunset in a magical context, a typical Italian aperitivo with prosecco and some special product from the area, will be offered on board. After that we will sail back.

Timeless photographs on the shores of Lake Como. The goal of this experience is to create a fantastic photoshoot among the glimpses of one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. We will start from Lido di Varenna and continue along the shore until we reach the outfall of Fiumelatte. On the way we will pass through the alleys of this fantastic pearl of the lake. * If you have any questions about the experience, feel free to send me a message. ** The photoshoot is private and not a group experience. ** I'm available in different locations in the north part of the Lake of Como (e.g. Dongo, Domaso, Tremezzo, Bellano, Colico, Mandello, Lecco ...) ** I'm flexible with the time schedule, send me a message and we will find the time that suits you better. *** This experience is not just for tourists *** Please do not book for the last day of your vacation. With the very iconic and sleek Tullio Abbate motorboat - designed and manufactured in the area - we will be visiting many of the most iconic spots of the lake (as the beautiful Torno, Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Villa Geno, Former Villa Versace, Villa D'Este, Como lake front etc.). The tour can also be designed with our visitors, with the aim of tailoring the experience as much as possible to the preferences of the guests. Additional destinations can be proposed and discussed together (as Nesso, Argegno, Villa del Balbianello, Bellagio), and depending on the distance a surcharge can be requested. I am very convinced that experiencing the beauty of Lake Como directly from the lake, on a private motorboat, is a world-class experience and a must-do activity once in a lifetime!
