A very special experience. Emanuel was cheerful, polite and inclusive. He came and picked us up in Riomaggiore. You felt like you were getting a new friend. It became personal for each of us to be there. He told me about the wine growing on the site, the history of the place which is fascinating in itself. We were served the self-produced wine, a red wine from Manarola and two types of liqueur that he had also produced himself. One was lemon flavored and the other was lemon and two types of flowers that grow on the spot, which we were introduced to in advance, and got to smell first. We had focaccia bread baked on site, sausages and beautiful cheeses in amazing surroundings while we enjoyed the sunset while live piano music provided by the host himself floated in the air.
