Apartment vacation rentals in Chautauqua County

This upstairs apartment was great! Kitchen was huge, bathrooms were good sized and well-stocked. Bedrooms were spacious (especially the master) and the beds were comfortable. This unit was very comfortable for our family to stay in. Laundry facilities were great, too! Would love to come back in the summer and experience a stay in this Airbnb again!

As soon as we walked in the door, we felt immediately at home! This was one of the best Air B&B stays that we have ever encountered! My wife was so impressed with how thoughtful the decor was and the welcome basket was yet another detail that we did not expect. The lake view was beautiful and even though the weather wasn't the best, it was the type of place that you could just relax and spend the day right there. Maripat and Tim were truly "Super Hosts" and it was evident with their home and their great communication. They literally thought of everything that you could possibly need and anything else was pretty close by. We had the most relaxing and stress free getaway that we've had in awhile. If our travels take us back to western NY again, I can guarantee that we will be trying to stay at this beautiful place on the lake. If we could give this 12 stars...we would!

One of the best places I’ve stayed. Absolutely lovely. Safe neighborhood, lots of things to do/see nearby, responsive host, had everything I needed. This was my second time staying here (just in a different unit), and I’ll definitely come back!

Margaret’s home is perfect for a small weekend getaway. The house is charming and well-kept. The property is peaceful and private. It’s conveniently located near all the wineries. Margaret is extremely friendly and communicative. The only negative, in my opinion, is that the house runs on well water; it would not stop me from staying again, I’m just not accustomed to well water. If you’re traveling with an infant, consider packing enough bottles so that you will not have to wash them during your stay (fortunately I packed enough for the whole stay). That being said, the house does provide filtered water for drinking.

Great house on the lake! Our first house canceled Sunday and we secured this house on Monday for a check-in Tuesday. Everything was great considering we had to book at the last minute.

I was in town visiting my elderly father, the apartment was a 3 minute drive from my dad’s. It was very clean and comfortable and perfect for my needs. I would also like to mention that the beds were super comfortable. Matthew and Carla were very responsive to any questions I had as well. Would definitely book this place again .

This was a cozy home away from home for our family of five! Terri was an excellent host though we didn’t need her much. We cooked several meals in the well-stocked kitchen and had almost everything we needed there (the exception was a vegetable peeler). The hot water was excellent. We walked to a nearby grocery store for donuts. The kids enjoyed the porch swing. Overall, a great spot!

My stay here was great! The place was super clean and had literally everything you needed! It was like being at home but away from home. Liv was very quick to respond to any questions and I had and was very kind and helpful!! Highly recommend staying here!

Jean is very responsive and thoroughly answered our questions. The apartment is as listed. Peaceful area. Mayville is a great central location if you want to explore both the wineries near Lake Erie and any activities on or along Lake Chautauqua.

I felt right at home. Charlene is an awesome host. House rules were clear and completely reasonable. The property is peaceful and serene, I would definitely book with her again.

Carrie's place is lovely and pristine. It is convenient , comfortable and has everything you need for an easy stay. The bed is comfortable with nice linens and the bathroom and kitchen are updated with beautiful fixtures. We would be happy to stay here again!

Sally went above and beyond during a pretty tumultuous stay! A huge dump of lake effect snow meant our plans were constantly changing, and Sally was flexible, supportive and concerned throughout. They kept the walks and parking places clear of snow, and checked in frequently to make sure everything was alright. I will be sure to recommend this stellar host to everyone I know who comes to visit in the area! Thanks, Sally and Scott, for everything!

Cute place to stay if you’re needing to be in this area. I was in the area for a wedding that was at the CHQ Barn. It was only about a 6 minute drive. So convenient. Inside the Airbnb was very cute. Had everything we needed. The shower water had a smell to it, I’m assuming because it’s well water. It didn’t bother me because I’ve used well water before while camping and it looked clean and clear, but it may be off putting to others. I’d stay again if I were in the area again! I’d recommend it to anyone. Best cellar I’ve been in lol

This was my first time at Sunset Bay during the off season and it was beautiful and peaceful. You can not get a better location than this unit, right on the beach and just down the street from the restaurant area. Loved the balcony and beach frontage, allowing for seeing gorgeous sunsets. Pamela was an amazing host, so friendly and even gave me a card for my birthday. Unit was private and perfect for my needs. Highly recommend.

Second time staying here for our annual girl’s trip to the local skate park and we will be back again next year! Great location.

The place is very clean. I didn’t smell cleaning products with synthetic fragrances, instead the place is clean and fresh. The king size bed and pillows are very comfortable. Great location, walking distance to downtown. Easy to get to the highway. Gg is very knowledgeable and provide useful information of local events and travel recommendations. When my 80 years old mother in law come to visit, Gg is kind and provide tremendous help. We are very grateful and couldn’t be happier. All of appliances are function well. The garden view is very pretty with two very beautiful trees in the yard. It is peaceful to sit at the deck and enjoy the beautiful view. I definitely will want to come back and stay Gg’s Airbnb again.

Lakeside spot with instant beach access. The place is quaint and cute. Nice that it has a parking spot and a grill to use. The place has a decent bed in one bedroom and one that has seen more comfortable days in the other. I tried the TV and had problems getting content to load. Could have been user error. The shower was great, good pressure and temp control. The AC units kept the place nice and cool. I had a great time!

Kyle was very responsive and the location was in walking distance to the beach and a short drive to Chautauqua Lake. Also, the town of Westfield has nice Antique shops and restaurants.

The overview of the logistics of attending Chautauqua that Judith provided was invaluable. We were able to hit the ground running like old pros and make the most of our visit!

This was our third stay here, it is home away from home. The area offers a lot to do, and the people are very friendly. Looking forward to next year in Westfield NY.

GG was a great host. She communicated very well at our booking and check in. There was a small issue with the check in instructions but she was in such good communication that it was resolved within 1 minute. A crib was not listed on the available items for the rental but on inquiring she was able to provide one and it worked out great for our month old baby to sleep in. The space was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The living area is very spacious and open to the kitchen and eating space. I like to sleep with it cold and the air conditioner units worked great for cooling the individual rooms.
