Cabin vacation rentals in Chassahowitzka River

My husband and I just had the absolute, most amazing stay at this cabin in the woods. The hosts communicated thoroughly and were very responsive to any inquiries we had. The photos and description are all 100% accurate but don’t show the true beauty and serenity of this hidden gem. There were several kayaks w/lifejackets, firewood (with starters), fishing poles w/tackle, coffee/tea provided. Kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. Pack your food, drinks and clothes-that is it! They have everything needed for the most relaxing and wonderful get-away!

I highly recommend Tyler’s place for a getaway. I went with my husband and friends and it was a dream! The place is great, absolutely beautiful backyard and Tyler was an amazing host. Always responded very quickly, super polite and helpful. We loved our stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Tyler’s beautiful and peaceful home! The space is bright, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing, especially the lovely deck where we enjoyed our Easter brunch. The house is full of unique details that make the stay very special. There are lots of games and interesting books that the kids truly enjoyed, which made our time even more memorable. The house was well-equipped and thoughtfully maintained, making our group of 7 adults and 4 kids feel right at home. Tyler was a very responsive and gracious host, accommodating our requests. He was very open to feedback and quick to address any minor issues we encountered, which we truly appreciated. Overall, a fantastic experience—we highly recommend staying here and would gladly return. Thank you, Tyler, for your hospitality!

Amazing views of the river from the lodge with all your crew could need to have a great time on the water and a great atmosphere and fire place for hanging out.

This place was so cozy, clean and peaceful. We loved the heated outdoor pool and use of kayaks to get to Three Sisters Spring. The host has thought of every comfort— from spices to cooking supplies, extra cozy blankets to lawn chairs and beach towels. Really, anything you think you might need, the house has.

We had an amazing week away from NY at Dustin’s A Frame Home. The location was perfect, right in the river but not where all the crowds are. The house made us feel right at home with our two Frenchies. The house and the area is magical from the colorful butterflies, beautiful birds, little lizards, manatees and we even saw a baby and mom dolphin swim by. The weeki wachi river is gorgeous and Dustin gives you all the kayaks and SUP you need right at the house. I highly recommend renting the Round Boats as well. We loved it so much we rented them two days in a row and got a deal for it. You cover so much more of the River and it’s so relaxing. We hope to get back to Dustin’s space in the future, it was really hard to leave. If you thinking about booking it, just do it! You won’t be disappointed. Thank you Dustin and all for an amazing week away.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb. The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and in a perfect location. What really stood out, though, was the host. They were incredibly responsive and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Any questions I had were answered within minutes, and they provided helpful local tips that made my trip even more enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a stress-free experience with a host who truly cares about their guests!

I went for my 22nd birthday it was great to relax cause unfortunately I got hit by a car a few days prior. House was adorable and in a great location. 10/10 recommend and would go back. Rainbow springs was a good relaxation spot too.

Fourth time at Hunter cabin and so grateful for another weekend of memories and connection. We love this property so much. Love all of the recent changes. Our teens really liked the garage hangout and the new couches are great. Appreciate the way you feel like family as soon as you walk in.

You can’t beat the hospitality and the views. Perfect for small center consoles and bay boats. Cameron was friendly and very helpful would recommend this place to any scalloper or inshore fishermen.

Very nice home, located within 20 minutes to the springs, hiking, and restaurants. We loved the seclusion, the home’s architecture, and the detached BBQ screened-in shelter. The large backyard is great for the activities they provide (cornhole, mini soccer, and tree swinging). We were there in the summer but the water level in the back was too shallow to launch the canoes but that’s no problem with tons of local kayaking options. The house is on a 12-minute drive dirt road that can be difficult to find at night. Also, the house does not have any cell reception but the house has ok WiFi speeds to stream movies and use FaceTime (voice); that’s the price to be in seclusion, peace, and nature. Check in and out were a breeze and the indoor amenities are nice. We recommend this home for a nice getaway.

I attended a workshop/class just up the road at the airport so the location was perfect for me as the drive was 3 minutes away. That said, I didn't get to enjoy the area as would be deserved as it is a beautiful area. Anne quickly replied to every message. Anne was very friendly and checked in and made sure everything was to my liking. She was very knowledgeable of the area so her suggestions are a valuable resource. She was attentive but not overly so as to be annoying in any sense. I stayed at the Midway and it was exactly as described. The accommodations are in a quite lovely country setting, quite and peaceful. I would highly recommend Anne and her location for a weekend getaway or even a week long stay if you wanted to relax and explore. the kitchen is a kitchenette, not a full kitchen however there is a separate building very close by with washer/ dryer AND a stove/oven for baking so really you have all the comfort of home. My son and I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming little cottage on a farm in Ocala for two nights, and it was an experience we will cherish. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. The cottage itself was quaint and cozy, perfectly suited for our needs. It was well-equipped with all the essentials, and the rustic decor gave it a lovely farm-like charm. We loved the comfortable bed and the clean, inviting atmosphere. The views on site were refreshing with sprawling fields and beautiful sunsets that we enjoyed every evening. One of the highlights of our stay was the opportunity to explore the farm. My son was thrilled to meet the animals, from friendly goats to playful pigs. We spent hours wandering around the property, taking in the fresh air and beautiful scenery. Great place to reset and unwind. 10/10
