Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Caswell County

This historic house was a great retreat and provided a nice place to relax and central to the restaurants of Milton, NC. The house is extremely well kept, and the restoration of this historic home was well done and beautifully decorated. The house met our needs with three private bedrooms and private bathrooms with plenty of space to relax with two sitting rooms and a beautiful dining room, although we ate in the kitchen. The hosts were very responsive to any questions and provide nice amenities and fully stocked kitchen with cookware, plates, coffee and other cooking supplies. I will definitely be keeping this on my list for the next time I visit the area.

Amy was a fabulous host. I'll admit I was a little hesitant about booking because she & the house were new to the site. I'm so thankful I took a chance. We had a little hiccup with checking in (door code wasn't working) but Amy immediately responded and resolved, even with it being after 11 pm. The house was perfect for me and my two adult kids. We each had our own space to relax. The bottom covered patio was the perfect place for watching thunderstorms over the lake. We took the kayaks out one day and lounged on the dock & swam another. The kitchen was well stocked & organized. She even had pictures of what went where so you didn't have to guess when putting things back. Not once during our stay did I think, man I wish she had (blank). The beds were comfortable with fresh linens and plenty of pillows. Baths were updated and we never ran out of hot water, even with the three of us showering at the same time. I would highly recommend staying here.

The home was gorgeous! It had so many beautiful amenities per the listing that was fun to use for my party. The house was very spacious, with a beautiful layout and a choice of furniture. The beds were especially cozy, even the couches were lovely substitutes for a bed. During the trip, David and Betsy were very responsive to my questions and very kind and helpful during our exchange. Would highly recommend their location to anyone who wants a combination of comfort, lots of space, fun lake activities, awesome amenities, and generally exceptional service

What a gorgeous home! This stay exceeded all of our expectations. From start to finish, Mark was informative and easy to communicate with. He even gave me the perfect recommendation for a local place to do a long run during our stay. Mark’s home was clean and filled with everything we needed. I love that this is clearly a home Mark and his family visit often, and it felt like being in our own home. The kids were comfortable and entertained, my husband relaxed in front of the tv, and I got to spend time reading on the dock. This was a 5 star experience and we will definitely be back!

Four of us, two couples, one from Seattle and the other from PA. experienced Airbnbers. We loved this place. Beautiful historic home, very nicely restored, with all the quirks of an almost 200 year old house. On a fairly busy street, but still very quiet. restaurants and bars very close. We were in the area to attend races at VIRginia International Raceway, which is literally 5 minutes away, couldn't be more convenient.

My husband and I were needing a break from the city and demands of work. We didn’t want to get too far away from Raleigh and Benjamin’s home was the nice retreat. The king bed is comfortable, the home tastefully decorated, and the rooms were very clean. When we arrived, the only cooling system operating in the home was the ceiling fan in the living room, which made the bedroom a bit stuffy/warm. Benjamin’s team was quick to respond and let us know there was a window unit available for our use.

Another wonderful stay at Jim and Peggy Wynn's home away from home (our 3rd visit)! Their place is perfect for us and we love it here. Jim and Peggy are absolutely wonderful hosts, going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our stay. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality has truly made our ongoing experience here very memorable. We can't thank them enough for making us feel right at home!

Bridget was a lovely host, very quick in responding and super helpful. The place was awesome! Stayed here for four weeks during a business trip. Easy check-in, kitchen was well equipped, bed was very comfortable, all in all very happy with the accommodation.

This is a simple but great space in a lovely neighborhood! Maureen was always incredibly responsive and helpful, and the 11am check in time gave us a lot of flexibility. The backyard is large and peaceful, with pretty flowers and lighted areas that were nice for sitting out and relaxing in the evening. I would definitely recommend this apartment, especially for a couple or a student looking for a long-term rental.

My partner and I loved our stay! We really appreciated Jacson’s flexibility and communication about our check-in. The apartment had everything we needed, too, and was a close walk to downtown.

Relocating to Durham with a young family, Anne's unit was the perfect 🥰 place to transition from the Northeast. What a true blessing, Anne provided toys for my young children, opened up soccer ⚽️ time when the field was available, and the bonus was a three minute walk to the local park! I couldn't think of a better family to connect with than Anne's family. We love the thoughtfulness of the unit, plug in USB outlet tables, working desk area for professional, large closet, and the awesome espresso machine 👍. Thank you for opening your unit to the community.

Great stay with a rustic experience. Loved hearing the rooster when i arrived and the frogs at night. The Magnolia tree smells amazing. Definitely off thr beaten path and a great get away for fast paced city folks. The studio had some many detailed touches and was very nice!

Had a great weekend at the cabin. We have rented a few cabins on hyco lake and this location was probably our favorite. Fishing was fantastic and we found a resturant nearby that was, a little pricy, but amazing steak. It was the closest steak house when you google "steak near me". We spent hours down at the dock house and when inside the cabin, the coffee bar and couch called my name often lol.

This place is heaven on earth. Check in was a breeze. The custom log cabin in beautifully appointed; dark wood and amazing lighting and artwork. The personal touches are so beautiful. Everything we needed was there, including in the kitchen. Spotlessly clean inside and out. Sadly I had to work remotely the entire time; internet made that happen seamlessly. The best part for us was the outside. Wraparound deck with a gorgeous view of the lake, with a charcoal grill and firepit. The floating dock was also immaculately clean and has chairs, at least one table, a "tiki bar", and even a little slide into the water for the kiddos if you go in the warm weather. I did yoga at sunrise on the dock, watching the sun come up over the river. Amazing. The hosts respected our privacy and were available for messages and responsive. I can't wait to return. Almost hate writing this review because I want it to be available next time we return. Five stars for sure. You're going to LOVE it!

This place is a gem! Quiet peaceful surroundings! Walkable to cider tasting room. Close to Hillsborough. Screened in porch was a joy at night! Wish we could have stayed longer!

OUTSTANDING!!! I would live there if I could! Liz was VERY responsive within 5 min max while I was there. The home itself is so cute, clean, comfortable and the area is quiet. I had everything I needed and all of the instructions were very detailed and easily understood. The first night it rained and the sound on the roof could of put me to sleep. The outside fenced in area was comfortable and if I had of brought my pet it would of been enough room for him to play and do his business. This is by far my favorite place and host!! Thank you Liz!!!

We loved our stay at Heaven’s Gate cabin again. It was very peaceful. We will be back.

A really interesting house in a great location.

It was a better stay than we could have expected! Such a great price too! We had a blast and it was so very relaxing. The home had all we needed for a relaxing and fun filled family adventure.

We are repeat customers which says it all! We love the lodge and will be back next year for our VIR event. Great place for larger groups and reasonable distance from the track.
