The view from the back porch is so beautiful. We enjoyed sitting out there watching the fish jump. It was very relaxing. The house was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

The Lake Cottage is the absolute BEST AirBNB we’ve ever stayed in…Pam is an excellent host! Her communication was timely and she made great suggestions during our trip! She thought of everything you could possibly need to enjoy a lake house retreat… and MORE! Even farm fresh eggs, local sausage & biscuits were in the fridge upon arrival. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials. The home is so DREAMY and PRIVATE…great for families! We loved the large flat lot and boathouse with kayaks and paddle boards for the kids to enjoy. Plenty of things to do- outdoor games, a hammock, projector screen- where we watched the football game! The outdoor area is perfect for grilling out and watching the kids play! The inside is absolutely gorgeous- it’s everything you see in the pictures but even BETTER! Very thoughtfully decorated, clean, welcoming, and COZY- you’ll feel right at home! If your considering booking this place- DO it! You’ll be so glad you DID! Definitely a 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stay!

It's a very comfortable house with the beautiful waterfront views. It looks even better in person. We enjoyed our 4-night stay there, could definitely stay there way longer.

Travis was awesome to work with, very responsive when I had a question. Kitchen had everything that we needed while cooking. Location was great, easily accessible for all parties.

Thanks for the comfy stay, Amanda! The home was an older home built in the late 1930s I believe. I love the space these older homes have. They are built for very tall people lol. Amanda has done a great job maintaining the property. Since it is an older home, there are some nuances but nothing to drop the rating all of way down to a 4 star in comparison to how cozy everything was. Also, there are restaurants close by. I recommend Effina's.

We were very pleased with our stay. Perfect for our needs. We originally had hotel reservations, but are so glad we switched. We would definitely stay again. If you like a country setting and quiet surroundings, then this is the place for you. Thank you Reagan and Jason for a wonderful stay!

Trip for Talladega races was a success thanks to Tony’s place. 20-25 minutes to the super speedway wasn’t a bad drive. Wish we had time to fish since the house is next to a lake. The house itself is great! No issues at all. And the welcome basket was an unexpected, nice touch. Would stay again if we're coming back down.

The place was great and we hope to come back sometime. It was clean and matched the description. The host was helpful and responded to messages. It is quiet and relaxing place to stay.

I enjoyed my stay at this lovely home. The area is an established neighborhood in a small town with good shopping and attractions (Chief Ladiga Trail - I’ve hiked several sections but not the whole!)
