Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Cabell County

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. We frequently visit this area and I will be checking to see if this is available if there is another situation where we need to stay overnight again.

Kim was very helpful with any questions. she had good recommendations for places to eat. it was easy to get ahold of her, and even when someone forgot something and had to come back after checkout, she was very accommodating.

Everything about our stay at Debra’s place was excellent! Easy check in, so clean and comfortable. You can tell Debra puts a lot of effort into making her guests feel welcomed and relaxed. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful home and property! Gorgeous country setting yet close to town. Squeaky Clean! Beautiful kitchen stocked with all the cooking essentials you need and tons of seating, enjoy the beautiful view while cooking! Updated, modern and beautifully decorated farmhouse. My kids loved the bunk bed room, piano and pool table. No fighting over bathrooms as there is 4 restrooms and 3 beautiful showers with great water pressure and hot water. Relax on a spacious porch with multiple rocking chairs and watch lots of deer and peaceful nature. Would definitely stay again and 100% recommend!

This place is great if you're looking for somewhere pleasant to rest your head for the night. Upon our arrival I texted our host and he was there to bring us our key within 15 minutes. He was very friendly. The place is super clean, it is bike-able to downtown, Marshall, Ritter Park - a very convenient location. My only mild complaint is that the A/C is controlled by the tenant in the main house above the apartment. But no big deal. The WIFI works great. There is a TV with Roku, but we didn't turn it on. There is an oven with a stove top, but no pots or pans. There are a couple plastic cups, bowls, and plates in the cabinet, but I didn't notice silverware. A single bath towel was in the bathroom for our drying purposes, no hand towels or washcloths. The bathroom was very clean, there were some body-washes and shampoos by the shower, soap at the sink, and soap at the kitchen sink. Ample trashcans were provided. Abundant usage of grapefruit air-fresheners. It was perfect for our needs.

Gloria was a great host. She was very hospitable and sweet. The place was exactly as described and better. It was extremely clean and well maintained. He was stocked with all your basic needs and extras. We will certainly be booking with her again if we are ever in the area.

I enjoyed my stay. The location was convenient and the proximity to Ritter Park was nice.

If you’re trying to decide whether or not to book this place, do it! The 3 most important things to me when I book an air b&b is: the comfortability of the bed, how well the heating & air work, and how well the hot water/pressure works. Geanina’s place blew all of those things out of the water and then some! The cleanliness of the space was unmatched, and it was incredibly cozy— my husband and I felt right at home. The waterfall shower head was probably my favorite part, and I slept like a baby in the bed. This particular place is an apartment, so it’s close to others, but do not worry, we didn’t hear a peep. The place was as quiet as a mouse, which was a huge relief. It’s a brick house, so we also felt very safe from the storm/tornados rolling through. Can really tell a lot of time and effort was put into curating this space. I love when a host thinks of all the little details and keeps it clutter-free! Perfect for a single person/couple. Book with Geanina— she won’t disappoint!

Great water pressure, nice shower. Hard candy was great fresh coffee grounds to make coffee comfortable bed!

We had a wonderful stay in the penthouse suite. Easy access and parking in the ramp across street. Spectacular views from the two balconies. Can easily walk to downtown area and enjoy the various venues and great restaurants. Place was exactly as shown in pictures. Condo unit was pristinely clean. This will definitely be my first choice to stay the next time I'm in the area.

Our family enjoyed our stay - all 9 of us - and it was very nice to be together as we came together for our son’s/brother’s wedding. We especially loved the patio and the propane fire pits and the view of the river. It was also nice having access to real cups and plates - enough for the entire family. Plus the hosts do everything they can to meet every need.

Lauryn's place in Ironton was perfect for our week's stay. Location was ideal, house was very clean and comfortable...even had a work station for those of us who had to work while on vacation. Wifi was fast and plenty to watch on the Roku TVs. Bedrooms VERY comfy. Kitchen has all the necessary appointments. Kickin' AC for those who like it nice and cool, like we do. If we ever find ourselves in Ironton again, I know where we're staying! Thanks Lauryn!

Stayed 3 days at Riverview 2. We loved the place and the area. Could not have asked for a better experience. Would love to come back if the chance ever comes up again. Diamond and Lisa are gracious hosts. Altogether a great time was had.

Our accommodations were great. The owners could not have been better for their quick response to our questions and coming to our rescue when we locked ourselves out. The location was convenient to downtown, however our only comment about the location was that it was within a block from a shelter for homeless people and we did not feel comfortable walking on that block at night. However, we drove our car to a convenient parking garage downtown instead.
