Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Buffalo County

Spacious home with an antique heart! This home was exactly what our girl's trip needed and we felt welcomed and at home as soon as we checked in. It has plenty of space yet allowed for some great hang-out time in many of the rooms. We drank tea, celebrated a birthday, took an evening walk in the neighborhood, and had deep conversation. The decor did not disappoint snd supported our love of the past while having modern day amenitites! We enjoyed the wonderful soaps to the large variety of spices in the kitchen to the comfy beds. Stefan's prompt and helpful communication made the stay even better!

Enjoyed the spacious house and beautiful views along the river. Lots of activity to see. Did some fishing right off the deck. Bedrooms were private with own bathroom. Great for each family. Huge kitchen area for group gatherings. Great place!

Beautiful house on the Mississippi River, walking distance to everything downtown Wabasha. Beth has always been a great hostess and we are repeat customers as we use her house when family comes to visit.

Charming quiet well equipped home with great view and plenty of parking. No disappointments. Host is a great communicator . Highly recommend.

My only criticism would be no Kleenex. Otherwise everything was perfect

Clean comfortable home in a beautiful location

Apartment in Winona - Treetops Suite is a great getaway in a little college town. There is a spacious main room and open area kitchenette (hot plate, toaster oven, microwave, sink, mini-fridge) and the two bedrooms (one ?full-size? bed and then two twins) are cozy - not tight or cramped. The apartment was clean and quiet. They had some food (milk, eggs, bagels, oranges, PeanutButter, jam) stocked in the fridge. The step-in shower has very hot water that is not difficult to adjust to a warm setting. The apartment is located just off the Winona State University campus and the first night we stayed we walked downtown for dinner. The stairs to the place are moderately steep - as the hosts mention in the write-up. This is not an issue (and adds to the ambience) unless you have some mobility challenges. There are railings on both sides. Thanks. This would be my preferred spot to stay if I was passing through Winona again.

This is a great little space! I stayed here while starting a new job at Winona State, and it couldn't have been more convenient. In addition to being close to WSU, I was able to walk to all the downtown restaurants, the library, the co-op, the lake and the river. Steve and Nan are fantastic hosts who will make you feel very cared for. They are super accommodating, warm and friendly. They left fun little breakfast items including bagels, fruit, eggs and even fresh peanut butter from the co-op. Weather permitting, the outdoor space is a lovely spot to sit and read in the dappled sunlight. There is an additional room that can be added on if you need more space, which was perfect when my college-aged son joined me halfway through my stay.

This is a perfect spot for exploring Wabasha! Walkable to almost every attraction and restaurants and pubs. We initially couldn’t get the apartment cool and when we messaged her she got back to us quickly. (Wall units, not central air). I can’t think of a single thing we needed during our stay. If we come back to the area we’d most definitely stay here again!

I just can’t say enough good things about Perry’s place! Not only was the space amazing but he was the best host. Very responsive and had lots of recommendations. The space was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed and made for a great birthday retreat for my mom! The beds were so comfy and I don’t think Perry left anything missing to what we would need. The couch was so comfy and we loved being able to sit out on the deck. So close to the eagle center and the chocolate shop right downstairs is a can’t miss!! We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for such an amazing stay!!!

loved the fact that this was basically a large studio apartment. good places to eat in the area wonderful sightseeing trails in the area as well. Luke was very responsive.
