Family-friendly vacation rentals in Brownstown Township

Lisa and Phil have an amazing place and go above and beyond as hosts! They had fresh pastries, fruit, and flowers waiting for us. The kitchen is well stocked with pantry essentials and cooking gear. The property is immedicable and exemplifies Phil's wood-working craftsmanship. We took full advantage of the hot tub and also a tour of Phil's downstairs wood shop. While initially concerned about the train, we found it an exciting perk and our sleep was never disturbed even without ear plugs. We were lucky enough to be able to stay for 2 weeks and will definitely be recommending the "lodge" to friends and family!

We had a wonderful stay, in a beautiful home and neighborhood. Our hosts made us feel right at home. It was an inviting and charming house. The deck and backyard were perfect for a small, family graduation gathering.

Had an awesome stay for a couple nights. The house was a very charming old farm house with all the necessities and lots of space. the cafe at the back had really good drinks and extremely friendly baristas. Would definitely stay again if I'm staying in the area!

Jason‘s place was pretty awesome. There’s a great little place called anthropology where you can get it a decent cup of coffee five minutes away walking distance. The river walk is a block away and your minutes away from Ford Field and all the amazing things that Detroit offers Jason‘s place is pretty cool; just as described. The five of us had an amazing meal cooked on the little barbecue outside.

Everything about this cottage was exactly what we were hoping for. It was right on the water and the sunsets were amazing. Very clean and everything we needed in the kitchen bathroom and bedrooms. Very comfortable and we loved the sunroom! The grounds were well kept too. And it was in close proximity to the ferry to Pelee Island and Point Pelee national park. I’ve already recommended this place to friends. We will definitely book this again if we are in that area in the future.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was perfect for our family of four — clean, uncluttered, and thoughtfully appointed. The location was excellent, within easy walking distance to all the major sporting venues and a great selection of restaurants. Stephen’s communication was excellent throughout, making everything seamless. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Stayed here for a holiday weekend with a family of four adults. The house location is fantastic! Beautiful sweeping views of Lake Erie from many rooms in the house, and nothing beat having coffee on the deck in the morning and a drink on the deck in the evening. Having the ravine next to us added to the privacy and wonderful animal watching (birds, fox, frogs). The home was charming, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed. We spent Sunday at the many walkable wineries. Can't recommend this place enough! We're looking forward to adding it to our getaway rotation!

Franck was highly recommended by a neighbor of ours. We had to find somewhere to stay long term (over 2 months). He is a genuinely nice person who showed concern before, during and after our stay! The house is very warm and inviting. It's decorated with a lot of beautiful artwork! The wood stairs are stunning! It's just the right size for 2 humans and 2 large dogs. (Plus you could fit another 4 humans!) We didn't utilize all the available space because we didn't need to. Even the yard was just the right size! The back porch was nice to sit in and enjoy our morning coffee. Especially when it rained! It's very centrally located to enjoy all the cool things happening in downtown Ferndale. Even though we weren't actually on vacation, we would highly recommend staying there! It actually helped us de-stress! Thanks for letting us enjoy your home away from home Franck!

This is the second of Jennifer’s listings we’ve stayed at and it was just as cozy and clean as the first! Jennifer is a very responsive and friendly host, and the house was clean, nicely decorated, and easy to settle into. Would happily stay again.

This is a warm, comfortable space right across the street from the Ann Arbor Farmers Market. It's near grocery stores, restaurants, and the U of Michigan. It is a warm, friendly space.

Interesting place in an old neighborhood of Detroit. Great coffee shop, restaurants and bars right outside the front door. On a busy street but really didn't notice any noise during the day or at night. Easy location to explore Detroit from.

Auntie Blondie (as she told me to call her) was an awesome host. She was very thorough giving me a tour of the property and was a phone call away when I needed anything. The location and views were great for the price and would recommend this property to anyone in the area. Thank you again for allowing us to celebrate in your property.

I’m so glad we chose this location! The indoor pool was a major highlight, it’s what sold us. The kids had a blast swimming without us having to worry about the weather. The area itself was peaceful and relaxing, and we were lucky enough to have clear skies to enjoy some stargazing. The home was stocked with fun extras like board games and pool toys, and we even got to enjoy a cozy little bonfire. The house itself was lovely, and I especially loved the kitchen, it had everything we needed. This stay definitely ranks as one of our favorites!
