Vacation rentals in Briscoe County

I’m so grateful for the clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced accommodations in Silverton, TX, especially on such short notice. The location was perfect—close to my hometown—and made traveling with my family for a funeral much easier during a difficult time. The host’s attention to detail and hospitality provided a peaceful place to rest and recharge. I highly recommend this place for anyone needing a reliable and welcoming stay in the area.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. I slept well on the comfortable bed. David, the host was excellent and always available if you needed anything. They have a food truck on site and he worked a little after their closing to make sure we got good bite to eat. I will stay there the next time I am in Silverton. Also a great place to stay if you’re going out to Lake, McKenzie Reservoir. We used the laundry, which was very well maintained. This is a gym of a place is in the middle of nowhere 😎

If you are wanting to visit Caprock Canyon State Park, this is a great place to stay. It's about 10 minutes drive to the state park. We appreciated the water cooler for filling our bottles for hiking. I enjoyed soaking in the tub after hiking. The bed had soft cotton sheets and the bedroom had blackout curtains. It was do quiet and peaceful and we slept great. Quitaque is a small town. The kitchen is fully stocked with pans, crackpot, and any utensils you would need to cook. There is a full size stove, oven and refrigerator. We enjoyed the Coffee Mill in Quitaque and Turkey Creek Winery in Turkey. In addition to coffee, the Coffee Mill has great food. In addition to wine, Turkey Creek Winery also has great feed. Being small towns, most businesses were closed on Sunday.

Great little tiny house. Peaceful and quiet. Can’t get any closer to Caprock Canyon. Exactly as pictured. Really enjoyed the high quality mattress after an Airbnb in another state had a poor one. Nice shower. It was just the two of us, so we used the giant steps that go to the kids’ loft to store our big suitcases. Kept immediate necessities next to the bed. I’d recommend this place to Caprock visitors.

My adult children and grandchildren rented the big house on the property which was a pleasant surprise. My phone and service didn't allow me to communicate with the host. My daughter had questions on her end and Tracy was available whenever my daughter needed her. It was a fantastic stay for our entire family.
