I had the best time. Ray, Tracy and their family made me feel like one of the family. They even invited me to have a drink with them all. I felt like I had known them for years. They were all so friendly and so helpful. Ray even came in the car to show me where the train station was to pick up my daughter. Tracey took me to show me where the other local train station was. I cannot recommend this place enough. Everything is as you see on the listing. I am pretty fussy using other peoples bathrooms but it was my favourite room. So sweet and calming. I spent the warm evening sitting in the garden with the adorable Louie reading. The whole vibe of the neighbourhood was very relaxing.

Alison is a fantastic host, communication was very good and very responsive, key pick up was easy. The accomodation is excellent, with a very comfortable bed and excellent ensuite with a piping hot shower and heated towel rail which is great for the colder months. My stay was for three weeks, during that time bedding and towels were changed regularly. Breakfast was really good when I required it. I frequently visit Lewes and will definitely be staying at one of Alison’s properties again in the future.

Daphne was a wonderful host that was very welcoming. Her home was lovely, nice rooms with comfortable linen on the beds and a large bathroom. Her homemade healthy breakfasts were delicious. It was really impressive to know her ingredients came from her garden. The garden itself, absolutely gorgeous! She has the sweetest two dogs, Saph & Topaz. Very well behaved & trained. My mom loved them. Thank you Daphne for allowing us to stay in your home.

I had a wonderful stay at Jules' air b&b! I booked last minute and Jules and her husband were very accommodating. The room itself is beautifully decorated and is flooded with natural light, creating a very inviting atmosphere. The bed is insanely comfortable and I slept very peacefully. The highlight was taking a relaxing bath- Jules even provided some lovely candles, it felt like a retreat! They also have two adorable dogs that add to the homely feel of the place. Jules provides a lovely array of breakfast items for you to enjoy at your convenience. Location is ideal- 5 mins walk from the sea via a great cafe. All in all it was a lovely stay, Jules and her husband are wonderful hosts :)

A comfortable night in a wonderful spot, quite literally on the South Downs Way. The bathroom is en suite, Sam was friendly and kind. Archie the cat was sweet!

Lovely hosts. The room is very nice and you have the space all to yourself with the ensuite. Lovely touch to leave Evian water bottle in the room as well as various towels, toiletries and a small piece of soap with a lovely fragrance. I loved the breakfast too. Host Ron was accommodating and helpful.

Charming hosts in a beautiful house. They could not have made us feel more welcome in their home. Would highly recommend to any visitors to the area.

James was a fantastic host when my Dad stayed with him over Christmas in his beautiful house in central Cuckfield. The only thing to flag in case it is an issue is that the stairs up to the bedrooms are steep, which is entirely in keeping with the very characterful house, but the less mobile guests may find them a challenge! James could not have done more to ensure my Dad had a comfortable stay and was made to feel very welcome - we will definitely be back!!

I unexpectedly needed a few nights accommodation in Worthing, I found Jan’s place and arrived around 9pm, she was so extremely lovely and made me feel so welcome and at home. My room was on the top floor, the bed was comfortable and worth mentioning the WiFi was excellent. The accommodation is only a few minutes walk to the popular pier, working town, seaside, restaurants bars and shops. Jan is a really lovely person, she goes out her way to ensure you feel 100 percent comfortable, I extended my stay by an extra night as I was enjoying the energy at her home so much. I would definitely book again

Margaret was very responsive and helpful to my query for a last minute New Year's Eve booking. Room and house is spotless. Conveniently located across from train station on a quiet and safe feeling residential street. I would stay there again!

An amazing stay in Brighton! The room is just lovely and the property is located in a very quiet area. Janet is a super friendly host and, although we didn’t meet, she called ahead to say that an early check in would be fine as she was going away for the weekend. This worked perfectly for my travel schedule and I was very appreciative of the proactive communication. Can’t recommend Janet and the Silveroom highly enough!

The location was perfect for our needs and the room was lovely with all the amenities we could wish for. It was spotlessly clean and felt like a home-from-home. Breakfast was good, with a selection that included  3 types of cereal, a choice of yoghurts and croissants with jam or cheese and ham. Our host, Bev was very welcoming and we were given a key, which made everything easier. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return. We would highly recommend.

His place is really lovely to relax , he is really helpful., u can use his kitchen dats the best part of his place , u fel like home in his place . I m in love with the cat , she is so adorable. I actually wanna go back to his place next summer so that I can see her again. Lovely place ❤️

A lovely single room within walking distance to the town centre and beach. Huge bathroom with big towel provided. Lots of toiletries and nice touches such as coffee, choice of teas and biscuits in the room, along with fresh fruit and milk in the fridge located in the bedroom. Would definitely recommend staying here 😊

The room was spacious and comfortable, just like description, bright and airy thanks to large bay window, especially made homely with lots of plants and cushions, the bed was luxurious, the TV screen gigantic and as a bonus, there was a large container of filtered water. The shared spaces were clean and tidy. And the host friendly and helpful! thanks Dan for providing great accommodation 😊

I stayed 7 nights , the area is quiet and peaceful . Kristina is a friendly host and nothing was too much trouble. The room was as described , with extra blankets and heating supplied .

Lucy is a lovely warm and welcoming host . The cottage style accommodation is secluded at the end of a terrace with a spacious garden and everything is clean and very pretty . We used the two bedrooms available with a private en-suite .The beds were comfortable and the furnishings modern and fresh . Everything possible was provided to make our stay comfortable including snacks and drinks and fruit and cereal and crumpets for breakfast . My daughter had forgotten to bring her evening bag for the party we were attending and Lucy immediately offered to loan a selection . The beautiful cat was very demure and most unassuming! All in all a highly recommended Air BnB

We loved our stay at Lordington Park for my husband’s birthday weekend. Harriet and the staff were very welcoming and looked after us and our two sausage dogs. The room was beautiful and we loved the gardens, particularly as there were plenty of areas for the dogs to run around and let off some energy. We would highly recommend a visit!

Really friendly hosts, a lovely clean and cosy room. Small space but perfect for 2 on a short stay. Lovely patio window, we could sit in bed and watch the blackbirds and wrens popping about the patio garden. Everything you could need…coffee, tea, biscuits and a continental breakfast. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A lovely, characterful home and an ideal base from which to explore Hartfield and Winnie-the-Pooh country. The bedroom was large and clean, with a huge and very comfortable bed. Val was a friendly and welcoming host. We would thoroughly recommend this place and we would be very happy to stay there again.

As we drove through the double wooden gates, we were in awe by the grandeur of this delightful thatched home with its welcoming Xmas decorations outside and carefully selected decor in every nook. A delicious spread of food awaited us each morning, and we were privy to Chris’s famous orange marmalade. What surprised me was the attention to detail including olives/feta knowing my heritage. A true festive treat was having Xmas crackers on our last morning. Michele’s attention to detail was impeccable. She is such a gem. 💎 However all that aside, what will make our stay forever memorable was our lovely hosts Michele and Chris. We truly loved our conversations each morning. They both created such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. We came in as guests but we have left as friends. We truly hope we come back again. If Airbnb gave awards to the best hosts, Michele and Chris would win hands down. 🏆
