I had the best time. Ray, Tracy and their family made me feel like one of the family. They even invited me to have a drink with them all. I felt like I had known them for years. They were all so friendly and so helpful. Ray even came in the car to show me where the train station was to pick up my daughter. Tracey took me to show me where the other local train station was. I cannot recommend this place enough. Everything is as you see on the listing. I am pretty fussy using other peoples bathrooms but it was my favourite room. So sweet and calming. I spent the warm evening sitting in the garden with the adorable Louie reading. The whole vibe of the neighbourhood was very relaxing.

Daphne was a wonderful host that was very welcoming. Her home was lovely, nice rooms with comfortable linen on the beds and a large bathroom. Her homemade healthy breakfasts were delicious. It was really impressive to know her ingredients came from her garden. The garden itself, absolutely gorgeous! She has the sweetest two dogs, Saph & Topaz. Very well behaved & trained. My mom loved them. Thank you Daphne for allowing us to stay in your home.

My partner and I had a warm and welcoming stay. The hosts were lovely and the extra greeting from two gorgeous four legged hosts was wonderful! Our room was lovely and spacious, I particularly liked waking up naturally with the sun through the large velux windows (blinds in place if you prefer a dark room and a nice lay in!) and a bath whilst looking at the sky was fab. Appreciated the supply of bottled water and yummy breakfast foods too. Would 10/10 recommend and stay again, thank you!

Sam’s place was such a magical find. I arrived after a walk through beautiful scenery, to find this gorgeous cottage, next to a lively pub. I had a couple of short chats with Sam, and it’s clear that she’s found a fantastic area of the world, full of inspiration. I found it hard to leave, I found characters, birdlife and scenery that had me feeling like I was in a story.

I cannot fault anything during my stay. Exactly as described and pictured. Ron gave a helpful suggestion for where to eat in the evening. I think I paid over the odds slightly but this was because it was the Brighton Marathon weekend and the reason for my visit. Breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend.

James was a fantastic host when my Dad stayed with him over Christmas in his beautiful house in central Cuckfield. The only thing to flag in case it is an issue is that the stairs up to the bedrooms are steep, which is entirely in keeping with the very characterful house, but the less mobile guests may find them a challenge! James could not have done more to ensure my Dad had a comfortable stay and was made to feel very welcome - we will definitely be back!!

Jill was a delightful. if we had more energy, im sure we would have both liked to have gotten to know her better, and ask about her trinkets and seemingly very full life to date.

Great place to stay with an amazing outlook from the back. Although the house is near the road it is set back and we weren’t aware of any traffic noise. Richard is a fantastic, friendly and helpful host and makes his guests feel very welcome. Breakfasts were freshly cooked and delicious. We would certainly return for another visit!

Stayed at Jan's place for 2 nights; me and my partner couldn't asked for a better place to stay. It's a few minutes walk to the beach and about 1 minute away from the town centre. Will happily return in the future. Highly recommend!

Margaret is a warm and friendly host who goes out of her way to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. She’s thoughtful and considerate of guests’ needs, creating a relaxed and homely atmosphere. The room has a cozy, inviting feel that made my stay very enjoyable. I would definitely stay with her again!

Thank you Bev for such a pleasant stay. We had a wedding at Southlands barn which was only a 6 min drive away from the b&b, perfect location! The room was clean, spacious and Bev really had thought of everything you might need being available in there. I was particularly grateful for the coffee machine and makeup wipes 😍 The breakfast was healthy and again, just what was needed. Thanks for being such a welcoming and thoughtful host!! A lovely single room within walking distance to the town centre and beach. Huge bathroom with big towel provided. Lots of toiletries and nice touches such as coffee, choice of teas and biscuits in the room, along with fresh fruit and milk in the fridge located in the bedroom. Would definitely recommend staying here 😊

Perfect place to stay for the Brighton Marathon. The accommodation was very clean, spacious, comfortable and peaceful. Easy access into Brighton, host very helpful.

Lovely room, very clean, cosy & decent size. Bed was extremely comfy & soft.. Everything what was needed was there & more.. Hot tub, sauna & garden was also beautiful added extra.. My dog loved his time there also & was welcomed warmly along with myself. Very friendly, helpful & responsive hosts! Will definitely be coming back 🙌

We loved our stay at Lordington Park for my husband’s birthday weekend. Harriet and the staff were very welcoming and looked after us and our two sausage dogs. The room was beautiful and we loved the gardens, particularly as there were plenty of areas for the dogs to run around and let off some energy. We would highly recommend a visit!

Amazing place to stay, the room was great and the setting was beautiful. Linda and Mike were perfect hosts, from a lovely warm welcome and a well stocked breakfast in the fridge, plenty of tea and coffee options (very appreciated). Highly recommend this place to stay.

I stayed at Val’s house for a night whilst I went to a wedding nearby. Val is absolutely lovely and was so helpful and responsive before getting there and whilst staying. Her house is beautiful and the room was lovely. A huge comfy bed, loads of room and the bathroom was really clean. Parking was super easy too - right outside the house in a safe gated driveway. Val made a delicious breakfast in the morning for me and I was able to say what time I would like it. She was so attentive whilst giving me space and was very relaxed with timings etc making the whole experience absolutely wonderful. I would absolutely stay there again if I’m in the area.
