Cabin vacation rentals in Bourbon County

This place was the perfect getaway! It was clean, spacious, up to date, and felt very homey! Everything was perfect and the place had everything we needed! The host was very polite and responded quickly! Will definitely stay again!

Great house, the huge and secure backyard was perfect for our dog to roam around. The outdoor shower was amazing after an afternoon of hiking in the heat. There are other houses around, but it was dark enough at night to see lots of stars. Everything inside was in good shape and very charming. There is a grocery store and a few restaurants 5 minutes away, overall a great spot for exploring red river gorge and natural bridge.

Moondance cabin was everything as described. This place was nice and clean, had everything we needed, was peaceful, beautiful view, quiet, comfortable and located close to lots of nice hiking areas. Bradley was very responsive and had lots of nice suggestions.

This cabin was the cutest, and coziest little home away from home! Every detail was well thought out and had everything we needed! The bed was very comfortable, hot tub was awesome and there’s plenty to do if you don’t feel like leaving everyday to explore. Owners communicated very well leading up to the weekend and were very helpful! We will definitely be back!

Highly recommend The Quaint Cutie! My fiancé and I, along with our 2 pups, really enjoyed our extended weekend stay. The cabin was cozy and well stocked with everything we needed for the weekend, including dog supplies. The pups had plenty of room to explore the yard. We loved the fire pit area and hot tub! It felt very secluded with lots of privacy. Liz and Brianna are great and responded to our questions in a very timely manner. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to RRG!

We had a wonderful spring break getaway with our kids and friends. The house was very clean and cozy. The board games and arcade game kept the kids entertained for hours. We all really enjoyed the hot tub after a few chilly hikes. The house was a reasonable distance from all our favorites in the area like Nada Tunnel, La Cabana, Miguel's Pizza, Gorge Underground, and of course several hiking locations. The host was very helpful and quick to respond. We would love to stay again next time we are in the area.

Such a relaxing and nice place, me and my boyfriend celebrated his 30th birthday at this cabin and it did not let us down. Nothing to mention about this place other than the trip was not long enough! A must visit cabin if you are wanting to stay near the Red River Gorge. Thank you Leslie and Phillip for having a great place to visit, we hope to return soon!

We were a group of 3 families on spring break and had a wonderful stay at Michael’s cabin. It was exactly as described, the view was stunning and the extended deck was really nice. What was amazing about the cabin is that each bedroom has an attached bathroom which was super convenient. Michael is a great host and very responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Michael’s cabin for a relaxing stay.

We are in the farrier business and had been traveling in the area for work. It turned out to be one of those days when nothing went right and we found ourselves in need of a spot to stop and get some rest for the night. I sent Lisa a message and she agreed to host us on extremely short notice. She was an absolute lifesaver and we appreciate it so much! Our stay was great and we would definitely recommend it, and we would for sure stay there again if we find ourselves in need of accommodations in that area.

We had such a great time staying at the cabin. It was close to everything and very cozy.

We loved the cabin! It's hard to find one bedroom places that fit our requirements, and this was perfect. The view from the hot tub and fire pit was gorgeous. Neighborhood was quiet. Lots of bnbs on the same road, but most were unoccupied the entire time. It was a ways to get places in RRG, but the journey is part of the adventure.

our stay at the cabin was peaceful and just what we were looking for. The cabin was cozy and inviting and the outdoor space was a great place to relax. We were close to the Gorge and all the things we wanted to do. The driveway was a little steep for my van, but there was a spot at the bottom to park. We would definitely recommend this cabin and would rent it out again if we're in the area!!

What an awesome stay! Zac was an incredible host and the cabin was truly just what we needed on our trip down to Florida! We loved this awesome house and had an amazing time! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! We will be back for longer next time!

We had the most incredible, relaxing time at this cabin! It’s incredibly private and peaceful. The place was clean and updated and besides food we didn’t need to buy anything. Plenty of wood for the fire pit and soaps and laundry detergent and lots more. More space to ourselves than we anticipated which was a great surprise. Lots of relaxing areas to rest such as next to a fire pit or on the dock over the great pond or even on the front porch. Such a peaceful place on the side of the Kentucky river! We would definitely stay here again

Francine’s place was a great place to stay, what was listed in the amenities was there and the kitchen was even more fully loaded with appliances than expected. The view really is nice and offers stunning scenery right from the back porch. Francine was always responsive to the questions I had leading up to the stay, and I always felt like I’d easily be able to get an answer to whatever questions I had.

This was a relaxed stay. I felt cozy immediately. The cabin is ideal for a couple. Watching the bats at night and the cows by day was an added treat.

The cabin offers spacious accommodations. The area is scenic and peaceful. Feels like you’re deep in the woods and off the beaten path, while only 10 minutes from all amenities and accommodations.

We had a fantastic time at Laura's cabin! Our son had so much fun exploring the farm, and watching the cows and goats. We also enjoyed drinking our coffee while watching the birds at the bird feeder each morning. The cabin itself was beautiful with many touches referencing the history of the cabin. We really enjoyed being able to use the farm store by the cabin as well. It was very centrally located, allowing us to easily do day-trips to Red River Gorge, Lexington, and Winchester. Overall, we had a great time and would highly recommend this stay!

Megan and Casey's home was exactly as described. It cozy and peaceful and had all the utensils and amenities you would need. A great place to stay if you're in the area. It is secluded with enough room for my dog to play without distractions. The hosts were responsive and friendly. I would stay here again.

Claire was an amazing host - accommodating, caring, friendly, thoughtful, warm and went out of her way to make our stay special for us and our son, an equine vet to be. The cabin at Denali was exactly as the pictures depicted and had everything that you needed. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to cook in, the beds were extremely comfortable and you were surrounded by mares and their foals and colts looking out all the windows. At night, sitting out on the porches you were surrounded by the country night sounds and the glittering fireflies, it felt almost magical there were so many of them. Walking around the farm everyone was friendly and made you feel welcomed and the horses were beautiful to look at. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend the cabin to others and would go back in a heartbeat.

Tracy and Scott are truly wonderful hosts, the cabin was prepared perfectly with anything that could have been needed and fully stocked with snacks and goodies, which was truly unexpected and a very awesome! The beauty of the property and surrounding area combined with the peace and privacy offered made for a perfect stay. I'm in this general area a half dozen or so times a year for work, my outdoor hobbies and visiting friends and have always stayed in hotels. I will never stay in a hotel again while in the area, I will most definitely be a reoccurring guest at Tracy and Scott's!
