This place is so cute! the perfect winter getaway. Jessica was very gracious with check out during a storm, it really put our minds at ease. We really want to see this place in the summer, so we already booked our dates!

I can’t say enough about Virginia and her amazing retreat. We were looking for a simple halfway stop on our way home from seeing family in the US and found this amazing space run by wonderful people. It was a treasure and we will be back. This beautiful family is forging a new way of living and travel that is sustainable and gives me hope. She is a great host if you have children and are interested in forest school and learning about local history and geography. My son was free to run and hear nothing but nature sounds and then we took the ferry everyday into Kingston to explore Canadian history and culture and eat amazing food. We went to the Wolfe Island hotel to eat local wonderful food and visited the stunning isolated beach every night at sunset. Wolfe Island is a place like no other. I had such a great connection with the host and her commitment to the earth and the future. Thank you Virginia!

Amanda and Eric were excellent hosts. The Dog House on Dog Lake was just as described. Amanda and Eric were very friendly hosts. They greeted us upon arrival and then totally respected our privacy. We enjoyed the cottage and all the amenities. The Dog House was very clean and well stocked with useful items. We were 25 min. from Kingston which allowed us to enjoy a show at The Grand Theatre and a boat tour of The Thousand Islands. This is a great place to stay. We highly recommend it. From the very beginning amber and Darcy’s communication was 10/10, she was so thorough that any questions we had were immediately answered and even at the location there were onsite notes for anything to make use that much easier. The location was scenic and so peaceful. It really felt like we were tucked away for the ultimate relaxation. They had everything you need and more to enjoy their cabin to the fullest. Whether you are outdoorsy or not there were plenty of indoor and outdoor activities provided. The neatness and cleanliness made this rustic cabin genuinely so easy to enjoy. Not all hosts provide things you might forget or entertainment but they certainly did. Everyone had their own personal space for the girls trip and the outhouse was so clean it made for a very practical vacation. We are already planning our next trip back! Who thought a winter getaway could be so successful, the weather was amazing and couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Thank you again!

Great place lots of room for big families to enjoy

This was such a phenomenal place to stay. The access to the river was lovely, and the entire house had so many great touches and details. The kitchen is very well stocked, beds and pillows so so comfortable. Location was fantastic and close to everything you need. I will definitely be back to stay here again !

Great Lake front cabin with lots of amenities. Boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, hot tub- kept our family of five, including 3 teenagers occupied for days. Love the addition of the gas fire pit on the porch off the living room- started and ended every day out there, watching and listening to all the lake has to offer. Great trail running right from east shore drive. We loved it! We will be back!

Thanks for letting us stay at your place. The place was beautiful. Private feeling and with lots of stuff to do at the cottage and on the water. Great place to bring your dogs as well!

Beautiful cabin, cats were friendly and so was Maria. Definitely want to return again for a longer visit and explore around.

We had an awesome stay at Dawn's cabin! The place is really quiet and private. Even if the place doesn't have electricity and water everything you need is there such as water bottles, snacks, kitchen supplies, BBQ with gaz, wood, pans, candles and chargeable lights, blankets etc. Also we were there to celebrate my birthday and Dawn was really thoughtful by placing some cupcakes for our arrival. Self check-in was also really smooth and well indicated. I totally recommend you to book there. It was such a good weekend to reload our batteries away from the city. Thank you!

We had an excellent stay in the A-Frame. It is peaceful, cosy, thoughtfully-appointed and incredibly well-laid out. Rachel is very friendly, helpful, and responsive.

The absolute cutest little Airbnb I have ever been to. If you are looking for a reset, relax and rest this is the ideal place. Christine is a great host. She was super responsive and helpful. The personal touches in the cabin are so welcoming. Real flowers beside my bed, candies on the kitchen table and yummy cookies in a jar in the kitchen with the recipe to boot! The trails outside are wonderful to walk and the bird feeders were buzzing with hungry customers. I don't think you'll be disappointed. I can't wait to go back.

Diego was super responsive at all times with clear instructions on how everything worked. He was also very considerate, knowing it was our anniversary, and offered to meet us there or not in case we wanted privacy. Very accommodating, and since there wasn't anyone there the day before, was okay with us checking in an hour early! The nature around us was great if you like to see animals. The same can be said for spiders though. Probably not the best location if you're severely arachnophobic, though the cabin did come stocked with means to dispose of spiders. The cabin was decent, but Diego as the host is what sets this one apart. Will recommend!

Everything was exactly as expected. We loved the rustic charm of the cabin. The property has an absolutely beautiful view of the lake. We caught a lot of fish right in front of the cabin and the kids loved it. We would definitely visit again!

This is a lovely place to stay! Mary-Beth is an excellent host. The cabin has great amenities which makes it a very comfortable place to stay. I’d definitely stay here again!
