Apartment vacation rentals in Bedford County

This is a great property in a great location. We had such a good time and will probably stay there again!

Four of us stayed at Sharon's apartment above Founders Crossing for a 2 night New Year's Eve getaway in downtown Bedford. The apartment was nice and clean and minimalistic. It was in the hot zone of town and a quick easy walk to multiple art shops, restaurants, a winery and a brewery. Founders Crossing itself was also fun to wander through and check out the different vendor setups. Every single person we met who owned or worked at the different establishments was polite, professional and fun. We had a blast and would highly recommend this as a getaway for those who would enjoy a historic small town on the rise with plenty to do. Sharon was responsive and we'd definitely stay here again. All the stars for this rental.

Mari-Pat's place was even better than the pictures. Everything was extremely clean, comfortable, and decorated beautifully. We loved the unique charm and slept very well. Mari-Pat has a wonderful shop below the apartment and she stocks the Airbnb with samples of items she sells in her shop. We had everything we needed and took it upon ourselves to say hello to our host at her shop. We loved how centrally located this apartment was and were able to walk to shops, restaurants, and Fort Bedford. Mari-Pat was an amazing host. I highly recommend staying here!

Husband stayed here while working in area. The place was comfortable, clean and no issues whatsoever. Blanca was communicative and responded quickly each time we reached out to her. Thank you for hosting!

Really nice place! Clean and great location. The host is extremely on top of things - easy check in and a binder filled with helpful recommendations. Unit is even nicer than the photographs can show. Great for a weekend trip. Highly recommend!

clean quiet just what I.needed

This place was close to the slopes, perfect for the price, unfortunately, blue knob had several amenities down. But Douglas was quick to remedy a solution for disappointment! 10/10 would rent from him again!!!

We enjoyed staying at Kevin’s apartment. We appreciated Kevin’s thorough instructions and photos that got us to and into the apartment. We had a restful, quiet evening which was just what we needed!

Great host, great place to stay! The restaurant downstairs had amazing food and service! Host was very responsive and helpful with anything we needed, definitely would stay again!

Jacinda was extremely helpful and responsive to any of our questions. The condo was lovely and well appointed. Overall it was a relaxing stay and wonderful to unplug. I highly recommend this stay if you are interested in hiking in Blue Knob State Park.

This condo is really cute and has great natural light. We stayed as a family of four with our dogs so it was a bit crammed but if you're skiing all day, it's all you need! It's nice the place is well stocked with the basics so you don't have to worry about bringing those.

Judy's AirBnB was cozy, clean and well maintained, providing everything we needed for a long weekend away. We had the opportunity to do some exploring in the area . . . Flight 93 Memorial, Quecreek Mine Rescue site, Horseshoe Curve, Gallitzen tunnels and the Railroaders Memorial Museum in Altoona . . . everything within an hour's drive (with beautiful scenery!). We enjoyed the on-site Clubhouse (great service, food and drinks, reasonably priced) and a relaxing dip in the indoor pool. Peggy's Diner, in Claysburg, offers a great breakfast and daily specials. We met so many wonderful people and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We would recommend Jydy's place for a couple's weekend away . . . it easily makes our list of "return to" places. Judy provided all the information we needed for our stay. . . no need for any additional contact, because everything was just as presented and everything went well (no problems!).. Thanks, Judy . . . we hope to visit again soon!
