This 1889 newly remodeled farm house is located right across the road from the Comfort Inn and right off the Findley lake exit. Its 10 mins from peek n peak ski resort. Short 20 mins to Erie, Pa and 10 mins from Northeast ,PA. The kitchen has a refrigerator , microwave ,stove and all the gadgets you need to cook with. We were here to do some birding, and while the weather did not cooperate, the location was perfect. It's right in the conservation area and an easy drive to the Long Point Bird Observatory (a must see). Without even stepping outside, I sawTree Swallows, Mute Swans, Killdeer, a Great Blue Heron and more just from through the window. There's marshland in the backyard, and more across the street, where we saw various ducks and even a Sandhill Crane. I can only imagine what we might have spotted had it not been so rainy and windy! The cottage itself is pretty rustic but was cozy and pleasant. The only potential drawback is you need to bring your own sheets, blankets, and towels, which may be problematic if you're flying in. I would definitely recommend this place for fellow birders especially.

We had a great time at Harpreet’s villa on lake Eerie. The view of the lake with naturalized area in between was heavenly and peaceful. Lots of different bird species make you feel like you are truly away from the city. The kids stayed thoroughly entertained in the games room while the adults enjoyed the comfortable living quarters. The kitchen was clean and functional and the bbq was spotless! Overall a great getaway.

Jenny's place was fantastic! it had anything and everything to make your stay comfortable. The house is beautiful and honestly it's definitely a place where you can just hang out and enjoy. The games downstairs were so much fun and the beds were so comfy. I would definitely stay again and would highly recommend if you're staying in Erie.
