Spacious cottage with private back yard with a cherry tree, walking distance from the train and Main street. The cottage also functions as a photo gallery for the photographer Gil Gofer, presenting several images from his work around the world.
“Eli and Taly's cottage was perfect for our short getaway to Beacon! The space was exactly as described snd depicted. We utilized the appliances (electric kettle and toaster oven) and had plenty of room to stretch out. The space is plenty for one and comfortable for two. Windows let in lots of gorgeous natural light and fresh air. The space is a bit of a walk from the train station, but no longer than 20 minutes. It's also located pretty close to Main Street, so you're in a prime location for local eateries and shops. I believe I did most of the interfacing with Taly, but regardless communication was cordial, timely, and highly responsive. Accessing the cottage was a breeze, as was checking out. Overall I'd definitely book again for future travels to Beacon.”
Welcome to a private escape space on the base of Mount Beacon. This unique space comes with your own entrance and plenty of parking. Fire pit available for use on site. The view from the window is peaceful but at night is when it shines, literally. You can see the twinkle of the town across the Hudson as well as the cars on the bridge which gives an amazing back drop. Nice place to adventure and or chill for the weekend. Extra twin beds available upon prior arrangement.
“Godwin's home is very nice and the room is super comfortable and a really convenient walk to a nice hike. it is also very close to main street and a comfortable proximity to other local attractions. Godwin has many extras in the room in case you need or forget something and the room gets great daylight. We felt very safe and secure in the space and Godwin was quick to respond whenever we had a question. Lastly, he kept to himself and that makes the space feel even more private. Great stay!”
Cozy, private, top floor, full apartment, nestled between the base of Mt. Beacon and the town itself. Easy access to hiking trails, and about a 5 minute walk to Dogwood, the Roundhouse, Hudson Valley Brewery and the east end of Main Street. Come relax, sleep in, or wake up at sunrise for a day of hiking!
“My boyfriend and I stayed at the Owl's Nest to celebrate his birthday. It was the perfect weekend getaway from NYC. The apartment was super cozy and within walking distance from downtown and Mt. Beacon where we enjoyed a great hike. Matthew and Romina were quick to respond to any questions we had and very friendly when we ran into them outside of the house (they live downstairs). Would recommend!”
