The cabin was absolutely gorgeous! Completely matched the description and photos. The king sized bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in, kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and the hot tub was so nice and relaxing with the beautiful scenery. It’s in the perfect location for everything and right down the road is a cute little place where you can buy cheap firewood or feed goats for 25 cents. Katie is absolutely the perfect host! Very responsive, friendly and extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend staying at any of her rentals for Katie alone. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay!

I had a wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb! The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive from the moment I booked. The space was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and well-decorated. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. Finding a place is slightly troublesome but we had fun driving around the neighborhood. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would definitely book again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay!

As someone who has travelled and stayed in countless places, I have to say this stay was my favorite. The cabin was everything and more than expected. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway I recommend checking this place out. The hosts were very easy to communicate with also very friendly. I will definitely be coming back.

This cabin is absolutely perfect for anyone looking to just get away and relax. It’s very cozy and clean. Not too far from the red river gorge and cave run lake! I highly recommend this place to anybody! The host was very responsive and the cabin was just as the pictures showed!

My daughter and I and our dogs loved loved loved The Cabin. It was quiet, serene, beautiful inside and out. Inside, the kitchen was fully stocked with quality utensils, pots, pans, dishes, prep bowls, plus spices and the like. I've never stayed in an AirBnB with such a great kitchen setup. I usually bring my own utensils, sharp knife, and cutting board so that I can prep food properly, but I never unpacked mine because Krystin had it all covered. MUCH APPRECIATED. Second, the place was super clean--another thing I always look for before booking. The Cabin was clean and comfortable. Outside, the yard was perfect for our dogs. They loved it. I highly recommend this place and hope to return again one day. Thanks, Krystin for all the thoughtful touches right down to the hand soap.

Beautiful place to stay, very easy to check in/ out. The place was very clean and everything that was needed was there. I had a question to ask Ryan and he was quick to respond. I would definitely return to this cabin

A little less secluded than I had pictured, but as a woman traveling alone, that was a good thing for me. Cabin is spotless and super cute and perfect for one to two people. Everything was all on one level, which I like. Lots of thoughtful touches like labels on light switches, etc. Hot tub was perfect and there’s a nice little walking trail basically across the street. Laura was very informative and an excellent communicator. I will definitely be staying here again.

This is a beautiful cabin and surrounding farmland. It was super clean and well supplied. Great communication to make sure all was as expected and we didn’t need anything. Even allowed for an early check in. Would without hesitation recommend this to anyone for a nice relaxing place to settle for a few days or even longer. Would love to make a return trip again soon!

Visited our son at Morehead State University. Spent a day hiking around Cave Run Lake and one just hanging out and playing games at the cabin and grilling. Perfect location and room to sleep the entire family. We had a wonderful stay.

Stayed in Cabin 3 for a week in October 24. The cabins and property are extremely clean and in excellent condition. Lawn is maintained nicely. There is a fire ring with chairs waiting for you! Paved road and designated parking space / area. Cabin looks exactly like it does in all of the pictures. There are no stairs / steps to Cabin 3 which makes it really nice if you have mobility issues. Squirrells and birds abound in the peaceful quiet area. It is at the beginning of a dead end street so there isn't much traffic or noise. There isn't a dresser or closet here nor any storage / counter space in the bathroom - so just be aware of that. Futon was comfortable to sleep on and so was the bed. Elliotts Pizza (turn right onto 801 and then right on 60 at the roundabout and it's on your left} is close, priced right and delicious! Kitchen was well equipped with the basics. Cabin is competitively priced for the area. Owners are helpful and easy to communicate with.

Absolutely fantastic host and property! The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, and the cabin was spotless, well-equipped, and in a perfect location very secluded and peaceful. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again!

This was a last minute booking and they were very responsive. Very nice, very clean, peaceful location. I had stayed there before years ago, and everything was just as I had remembered…. PERFECT! Great location for a great getaway at the lake!!

Nathan’s place was a wonderful place to stay! The cabin was comfortable, clean and we loved the fishing decor. The hot tub was clean and ready to use although we didn’t have time to get in. We loved Elliot’s pizza and cave run bingo, it is in a great location convenient to 64. Highly recommend this cabin!

Very friendly people even when I mixed up my door code an called them at 5 in the morning they responded in just a few mins an helped me get inside highly recommend them for your stay

The cabin was cozy and well equipped for light meals. We enjoyed the views of the farm from the front porch. We would definitely stay with Lisa again.

The whole family loved their stay. Casandra was a great host and the house was perfect for rest and relaxation. Already planning on coming back again

Both Airbnb hosts, Lisa & Dennis, were very responsive to any/all questions we had. Home amenities were as advertised. We didn't partake in the treats our hosts left for us: a basket of S'Mores fixings, individual snacks and bottled water (which we drank), the personal touch was much appreciated. Our group of 4 (2 male fishing partners & a husband-wife team) found the bedroom arrangement a little curious, but we worked it out just fine. There is a small bedroom (double bed?) INSIDE the master suite (king size bed) with a bathroom - which is very nice. Bedroom #3 is upstairs (Queen size bed). So hubby & I took the upstairs quarters. I had a yoga spot up there as well as a balcony. The back deck is where we spent our evenings & used the pellet grill to cook dinner. Being unaware how long the grill (super nice - electric) required to heat up to temp, you'll start it sooner than you would a charcoal grill. Neighbor dogs were friendly & hung out with us on the front porch. Yes we'll return

We had a wonderful stay at the Cedar Shack! The description and amenities were spot on. It was the perfect size and fit for what we needed. Stephanie was very responsive to let us know there was a power source for our boat before booking. Great parking for any fisherman traveling to Cave Run Lake. Nice country feel. We would definitely book again.
