Vacation rentals with lake access in Au Sable Township

It was a great place to stay for the weekend with girlfriends! My friends and I wete astonished at how well thought out this place was! It was so cute on the beach. We felt like we were somewhere tropical! Location was great. The decorations were beautiful. I told my husband I would come back and bring the kids! Love it here.

We all enjoyed our stay! The lake is beautiful. The house is comfortable and has great views of the lake. We loved having the Blackstone to cook on. Plenty of space inside and outside. Would definitely stay again!

Rob's place is a treat. Near all the cool stuff in Alpena but also quiet at night. Nice to see Lake Huron from many rooms in the house. The place was clean and had the things we expected. especially loved the pyre dishes and quality kitchen pans.

My wife and I along with two 13 year old girls went from June 8th-June-13th. What you see is what you get, beautiful area and lake. It really is a home away from home. Clean spacious and so cozy. We just can't say enough The girls went for walks down to the bridge to the park area across the lake, they enjoyed it. We rented a pontoon from Sunny Bunns and wow they gave us a deal! plenty to do on the lake and so much around to do. Thank you Suzanne for very relaxing family vacation.

Visited for a family wedding and the place was perfect for 7 adults. Plenty of room for sleeping and getting ready. The home was very clean and had everything we needed! Definitely recommend, just steps from the beautiful lake!

Hands down one of our favorite air bnb’s so far! We loved the pathway to the beach, felt like we were in Florida! Tracy gave us some really awesome recommendations to check out during our stay and on our way home we stopped at the dinosaur gardens about 20 mins away from the cottage and we were pleasantly surprise by the natures beauty there! Our 3 year old dinosaur loving boy said “wow” and “cool” about 100 times. The local restaurants near by have some amazing meals. We got the fish tacos at The Mountain (YUM) and the sweet potato’s fries are delicious at Brew Haus! The sense of style inside the cottage was so cute and inspiring. Really happy with our stay there :)

Mark is an amazing host! Not only did he answer all of my annoying questions before our stay, but he also reached out during our stay to make sure we were taken care of. The place was amazing! Immaculately clean and comfortable. The screened in porch was great for rainy and buggy days. Also, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you can possibly need (even a garbage disposal!). Oh, I forgot to mention the beautiful view of Lake Huron. We are looking forward to our next stay!

A peaceful beautiful place to stay. The beach was just right infront of the cottage. The beach has soft white sand and also I liked that the bottom of lake has soft sand. When we stayed there it was the hottest day in the past 12 years , having no ac was a bit uncomfortable at night but the lake breeze helped a lot. Also there are a lot of flies and bugs outside so I recommend bringing insect repellents. Overall it was a nice quiet place for a family to stay.

It was a great place to stay, very comfortable. I would like to get back in late spring or summer, the walk to the beach would be awesome.

Good place to stay in Alpena. Hosts were super responsive and nice when I had an issue figuring out the lock they came by to check I made it in even though I was checking in a little late.

tiffany rocks, super kind, checked on me, house was spotless, good for smaller dogs. comfy and cozy, plenty of sleeping space for 5. tiffany responded almost immediately every time. make sure to bring water to drink, none in fridge. great location to enjoy some peace in the woods and a day at the beach just across the street. if absolutely necessary you can walk from town. little distance but better then the alternative. have fun, thanks tiffany, see you soon.

I had never been to Oscoda before, and Rachel’s place made me feel right at home! Perfect view of the beach, and it was just so so so beautiful. I will definitely be coming back for sure!!

Karen was an amazing host! Check in was extremely easy and the place was easy to find! Both Karen and Mark were so so friendly! My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed wandering through Karen's shop downstairs all while chatting with Karen the whole time. We felt like we've known her for years! She was so helpful while I was trying to find the perfect gift in her shop. The space we stayed in was perfect! It was cozy, comfortable and clean! The black out curtains were welcomed, as were the A/C's and fan! The furniture was comfortable and everything we needed for the weekend. Highly recommend to anyone, and we will definitely be back in the event we come back to that area. Zero complaints!

Beautiful spot on Lake Huron just steps from the beach. The cottage is connected to others, but it feels private and shares a large deck with only one unit next door. The couple days we spent here were so peaceful. We didn’t see another soul on the beach. The decor inside was so cute and had so many little touches. The bed was extremely comfortable. My husband and I both said we slept better there than we have in months. Highly recommend staying here! Linda is a wonderful host.

The house was beautiful and spacious! We fit 10 people easily, and comfortably. The neighborhood is nice and we walked downtown and to the beach each day. My one thought was I wish there was a washer and dryer in the unit due to all our dirty beach clothes. Highly recommend this house for family getaways!

I have been coming up to hubbard lake for 15+ years, first time staying here this is by far one of our favorite spots now. This place was beautiful, thunder bay river was perfect . Neighbors were nice area was very relaxing. House had everything and more for what we needed . Only thing id say is it was a little uncomfortable how much the cameras turned on especially with kiddos and you know somebody is watching you every few minutes cause the blue light keeps activating. Multiple people in our family pointed it out. Just something to keep in mind most people are use to one out front but this is first time ive seen them on the whole property .

Great little place on the lake. Convenient location to Main St and plenty of beautiful golf courses within a half hour drive! Great for a golf trip

Great place to stay, this was our second time staying here and will def book again!

The cottage was greatl for our first visit to the sunrise side of the state and is well suited for couples or small families. Great location near state parks, Lake Huron, and Alpena. Visiting in mid-October many of the other homes were already closed for the season so the area was pretty quiet. This was great since neighbors are close by - something that wasn't a surprise being right on the lake. We were able to cook meals in the cute, vintage kitchen, enjoyed the well-stocked Nespresso, and spent most evenings around the firepit looking at the stars. Bed was comfy! Weather was warm so there were a decent amount of ladybugs. With the warm weather though there was the bonus of being able to take the owner-provided kayaks out on the lake!

Carol was a great host and this place was amazing. The kids loved the loft and the lake was great. The lake is cold, but it gets smooth and sandy about 15-20 feet out from shore, so the rock pickers and the swimmers in our group all had fun!
