Cabin vacation rentals in Au Sable Forks

We had a great stay at Euymyoung’s cabin! It was beautiful, peaceful and clean. We felt right at home. I was very impressed by the amenities provided. I REALLY appreciated that it was pet-friendly with dog bowls, and even treats!!! My dog had the time of his life hiking and hanging out with us at the cabin. The hot tub was wonderful. This Airbnb has everything you could want or need. I highly recommend booking if you are traveling to the Adirondacks. You won’t be disappointed. Euymyoung communicated thoroughly and provided so much helpful information. Thank you for a great stay and for the wonderful memories that we will have for years.

Great place to stay in the ADK area if you’re looking to relax in a quiet neighborhood with company by the firepit. House had everything we needed and more. Very comfortable and would stay again.

We highly recommend staying here! Super clean and in a peaceful community only a short drive to Wilmington and Lake Placid. Stacy, our host, was also super responsive to any questions and needs. The hot tub was a great spot to hang out and relax after a long day on the water or on the trails. We will surely be back!

We came up for a few nights to elope in the mountains with our two dogs. Meghan was so accommodating. This is our second time at this cabin but plan on making this our go to vacation spot when we come to Lake Placid!

This lakeside cabin was an amazing getaway from the busy life that we live. We spent our early morning having coffee on the dock while we watched our dog splash around and swim endlessly. The cabin was both far away from busy streets but also close enough to walk to shops and the nearby town. The cabin itself was very clean and provided a nice quiet place to relax after a long day of outdoor activity. We enjoyed using the kayaks provided as well as the fire-pit. We were fortunate to meet Walter who was kind of enough to give us a boat tour and a talk to us about life in the Adirondacks. We had a great time visiting and will not hesitate to book another stay should we venture off to the Adirondacks again.

We had an amazing stay! Everything was completely spotless, the appliances were top of the line, and the location was private and peaceful. Everything about the house was high quality and the hot tub was an added bonus! We would definitely stay here again.

Wow!! Stay here!! My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Cabin! Everything was squeaky clean, cozy, bed was super comfortable, and had everything you'd need. Hot tub was SO nice, check in was beyond easy, and Amy was a responsive and caring host. Easy five stars!!

The description and photographs don’t do justice to the house. The area it is nestled in is quiet, with walkable roadways, and close to many local and quaint restaurants and nearby attractions. Easy to find, all when arriving has all of the amenities of home. Travel to Lake Placid or Plattsburgh is just over 30 minutes, but if you want to stay local, there are restaurants within 10-15 minutes, that have great ambiance and inviting atmosphere. Trail ways for a leisurely hike with beautiful views are nearby. Inviting home that also allows our dog was something that we were looking for, and being able to spend some quality time together, walking the trails and relaxing was a great time for us. Bob and Joan’s cabin was absolutely spectacular. Overall this place is the perfect mountain getaway! This place has all the amenities you could need, prime commute to surrounding ADK regions, and let’s not forget the breathtaking views. This place exceeded our expectations and was exactly what we needed for a get away to the mountains with the dog. Bob was an amazing host and we look forward to coming back, as well as passing along this gem to friends and family to also book with Bob & Joan!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Owl's Nest. Was perfect for a quiet getaway and loved the location. Everything we needed was on hand. Highly recommend!

I only have great things to say about Christina’s place. The place was even better than the photos. As soon as I walked in, I remarked how cute it was. Christina communicated with me proactively and gave me a personal tour. She responded very promptly to communication and was lovely to talk to. Her place is serene and beautiful. I noticed a lot of thoughtful touches everywhere, including how the shower stall was built. (I 100% agree the shower head is amazing.) I enjoyed sitting by the brook and taking it all in. I was fortunate to have had the place to myself, but I cannot imagine there being any issues with another person or two there. Christina’s place was central to a lot of things I wanted to do in the area. I went on hikes and enjoyed delicious food. I would love to return this year.

We had a great time at Maureen’s place! The cabin was very cozy with plenty of space to relax. There is so much to do in this area and Lake placid is very close! It was perfect for our two labradoodles.

Such a lovely Airbnb will highly recommend to anyone looking for either a romantic getaway or a very fun weekend with friends. The view from the cabin is unbeatable and there is a small path down to the water. In June, the bugs were manageable and we came prepared with citronella candles so it was no issue!

My wife and I stayed for a weekend at Ezia's place. It was great! Extremely clean and very comfortable. Lots of space. Easy check-in. Good location: About 20 minutes from both Lake Placid and the Keene Valley-area trail heads. Highly recommended!

Bill’s cabin was cozy and peaceful for our quick trip to VT. I loved sitting on the porch and listening to the water & birds! Would definitely stay here again.

This house is so beautiful it makes your heart ache when you first walk in. All the interior details, the mid century vibe, the massive fireplace are perfection. And then the stonking view on top. I hesitated to write a review because I don’t want everyone to go! We arrived on Christmas Eve and it snowed all night, we woke up to a fairytale. The local shops are good too, and the restaurant just at the end of the road, The Ausable Inn, has great food and service. On a personal note, the old wall heaters in the bedroom were made by Markel who my partner’s grandfather worked for for 50 years as a salesman. Maybe he sold them to the owner…

Beautiful home and surroundings! Just like the pictures and I have never stayed in a place so well stocked, everything was thought of and accessible. Definitely would come back and highly recommend

Amir is the best host on the planet, the house is clean, well stocked and has a great covered patio for relaxing. Whether your on vacation or travelling for work, this place is a quiet gem, I have stayed here multiple times and will come back when I am in the area. Has everything you need to feel at home no matter how far away the real home is....

The cabin was amazing!! It was even better than we hoped and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The cabin had everything that we could’ve possibly needed and the views were gorgeous by the river!! Would definitely book again!

My stay at Amanda and Brian’s home was truly the best. The moment I walked in and saw those stunning floor to ceiling windows, with trees and nature surrounding me, I felt such a sense of calm. It was exactly what I needed so peaceful, so quiet. Amanda and Brian couldn’t have been more thoughtful with their restaurant recommendations; the food was amazing. Honestly, I felt a little sad leaving. I’m already hoping for another visit soon another chance to escape the chaos of the city and soak in that serenity again. It was a five-star experience in every way.
