Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Appomattox County

Fleetwood is charming! The two bedrooms are big and comfortable. The photos are clear that the third bed is a pull out sofa. The kitchen is big and easy to make a meal for a larger group. Kristen is very responsive, helpful and flexible. Thank you!

We had an excellent stay at Andy's home. The home was in a very private quiet country setting, but only about 12 minutes from the main area of Wards road with all the restaurants and shopping. Very convenient to Liberty University. The home was so clean inside. There were so many small touches such as having snacks and water for us. Fixings for coffee, paper products, and even toiletries if we had forgotten them. The beds were comfortable the shower was awesome. And we enjoyed sitting outside on the patio with the fireplace. And he was very responsive anytime we ask a question. When we come back to the Lynchburg area we definitely would love to stay here again!

We loved the attention to detail that Danielle gave with our particular stay. We were there for a graduation and she included a grad balloon and we also had dogs and she provided a little goodie bag for them and dog bowls, etc. Nice touches!

Everything about HearRock makes you feel relaxed and ready to connect with your loved ones. We stayed here for a friend's weekend and immediately felt at home. The kitchen is perfect for sharing meaningful meals, the porch is cozy for hanging out, and the grounds are beautiful to explore. We cannot say enough positive things about HeartRock - it is truly a gem and we cannot wait to return.

We loved our stay at this great Lynchburg airbnb. The pictures do not do it justice. The area is vibrant and fun with lots to do. So many great restaurants to enjoy right there as well as the farmers market. We loved being able to walk to the trailheads nearby. Will definitely stay there again

It’s really hard to say adequately how wonderful our stay here was. We were here for our son’s college graduation & military commissioning at Liberty University, which is only about a 15 minute drive but feels worlds away from the chaos of the graduation. We almost didn’t consider this place because of having to share a bathroom with 3 teenagers. But the bathroom was so large, incredibly clean, & had so many towels & towel racks it didn’t feel difficult at all. I sat out on the front porch or on the Adirondack chairs every day. And our family used the covered patio area they built off to the side for several meals with extended family that would pop by. Mike & Alice are fantastic hosts. My husband’s favorite part with how friendly response if they were with anything that we desired, even restocking the waters. I loved the history they put together about the house. It really is such a great place and made our trip incredibly special. So special it may ruin every other Airbnb for us.

Had a lovely stay in Dan's basement apartment! The unit was so clean and well-taken care of. It was easy to make ourselves at home. Dan and Karen are great hosts. My partner and I loved both restaurants and the hike recommended by them! Overall, this is a great spot if you are looking to get to the mountains easily and want great value. Thanks, Dan and Karen.
