The home is located near LAX so, very convenient if flying into the area. You do hear the airplanes landing and taking off. However, the location is convenient for those seeking a comfortable place near amenities and easy access to the West Side of LA. My family enjoyed their stay and were very comfortable in the offerings of the home. I would recommend this location for future stays as the neighborhood is welcoming with many stores nearby.

Our stay at Loretta’s home in Whittier was exceptional! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The pictures in the listing were accurate, and the home was even more beautiful in person. Located just off the freeway, it was incredibly easy to find and perfectly situated near major stores and grocery options—super convenient for our family trip. The house itself was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully maintained. We especially appreciated the ample parking in the driveway, which made coming and going stress-free. During an unusually hot week in Whittier, the powerful AC kept us all cool and comfortable. The three bathrooms were a huge plus for our group, and the bedrooms were not only clean but also very roomy, allowing everyone their own space to relax. Loretta and her team were fantastic hosts—very responsive and accommodating. They were flexible with our early check-in request, which helped us settle in with ease. We can't wait for our next stay!

Excellent host and excellent place! Clean, modern, also a great backyard. This was a perfect pick for a family of four visiting LA for a long weekend.

Hallgrim was a very gracious host. We were moving from another Airbnb & needed a place to stow our refrigerated food for 3 hours. He easily accommodated that & ultimately said we could just check in early. One caveat - be sure you understand the street parking protocol. It works but it can be tight, especially late at night. We always found a spot but you will need good parallel parking skills. The house is personal & eclectic & you will feel like you are staying at a good friend’s house. This is not the usual “just the basics” corporate Airbnb. It is a home. My daughter & I felt very comfortable staying here & would definitely book it again. The Canyon has a unique history. In addition to looking thru the beautiful coffee table book Hallgrim has left out for his guests to enjoy, you must watch Echo in the Canyon for an extended stroll through the musical history of this unique canyon. You’ll be singing Mamas and Papas songs on your way down to Lilly’s Cafe in no time!

Third time staying here and always a pleasure! Patricia is very responsive. The house is spacious and beautiful. The area is peaceful yet close to lots of things to see in LA. Amenities are great - pretty much anything you need they have here. Perfect for families or groups. Kid friendly as well. Will definitely be back.

Rafaella’s place was spotless, cozy, and exactly what we needed. Everything was well taken care of, and they were kind and quick on responses. A great stay—highly recommend!

Me and my fiancé loved this place. Perfect location and getaway for his birthday. Everything was up to standards , sanitary and well worth the price we paid. I highly recommend this listing ! Location may be an issue if you’re not renting a vehicle other wise this place is amazing!

Perfect location and very nice apartment, with fresh high-quality linens and towels. It is fully-priced and has some nice amenities, but in other ways does need some attention, esp. at the price. The TV was effectively non-functional — host said he would replace it but that wasn't going to help me. The kitchen is also outdated with a partially broken faucet and both too much clutter and yet some odd omissions: normal enough for a vacation rental, but for the price these should be taken care of. Harry is however a lovely gentleman and you will not regret the location.

What a fabulous home. We had the best time. Perfect space and comfy beds. Perfect location, right next to Marine Ave. Very close to all the restaurants. Host was very responsive to any questions. We will back again!

Great location for visiting LA. Unit looked just like the photos. Plenty of space for our family of 4. Easy directions to access the unit. We loved the parking spot and in unit laundry. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating.

House was as expected. The host was extremely accommodating for our big group. Checkin was easy and seamless. The only issue we had was that WiFi didn’t work well in downstairs master. Other than that, this house was everything we needed and more. Irene was fantastic! I wish all hosts were like her.

5 stars! Liza and Pascal were gracious and welcoming hosts. Communication was smooth and responsive throughout our stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family—our kids especially loved the backyard and the pool! A wonderful experience overall. We’d definitely stay here again!

Place did the trick for what my family needed. Host was very responsive when we needed something. Very nice having laundry in unit with supplies available.

Fabulous place with amazing views across the city to the mountains. Unique landscaped gardens with pool and hot tub. It was amazing to have breakfast on the patio in the morning and look out at the views. If you like bird spotting this is a great place. We highly recommend requesting the home cooked food; we were served an amazing dinner on the patio by the hosts.

We loved this house! The host went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and she was very communicative and accommodating. The house itself was very clean, well organized, spacious and quiet. We had enough space (inside and out) for all of us to feel comfortable. One of the best Airbnb's we've ever stayed in!

This was a perfect place for our stay. We traveled to this area to attend my bridal shower for my niece which was held at her house in Mission Viejo. This house was just 10 minutes away and very convenient to shopping , great restaurants, Dana point harbor, Baby Beach and John Wayne airport and great area to get out for a long walk! We loved this home because we each had our own room. It was a great place for us to sit and visit and is very family friendly. There was a crib for my grandson, toys, dinnerware etc. Highly recommend this home!

A great place to stay! My family came to California for a wedding and this place was amazing and convenient to everything that we needed. Min was super responsive whenever I ran into an issue. It was absolutely perfect since it was also a dog friendly house and we needed to step away for the wedding and so the dog had a safe place to be as well. Thank you!
