I left a necklace behind and Naomi and Darren kindly looked for it and sent it to me by registered post, for which I am very grateful.

Wow!!! This is really a beautiful sanctuary it has absolutely everything that is needed it’s been very well thought out! They was so accommodating if the children and dog, it was so quite but had enough round to keep occupied if needed, wonderful hosts and the welcome pack plus cupboard essentials was lovely :) would highly recommend

A last minute decision to stay at the Garden Annexe whilst visiting family was a great one!! It was perfect for our needs. Set in a peaceful location yet close to all the amenities Southport has to offer. The annexe was warm, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Our dog loved the beautiful garden and we welcomed the fresh eggs from their chickens and a yummy bar of fudge. Graham and Deb are really friendly and although they live close by, the annexe is very private. A great find!

We had a lovely couple of nights stay at John & Carmel’s farmhouse. As a group of 6 who studied at the uni together, it was fantastic to have the farmhouse as a base for a couple of days of adventures. The garden area was lovely (especially with the sun we had!) for cards and sun soaking. Inside was spotless and there was everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We have had a wonderful stay at Abby & Gavins place. Clean and bright, had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Nice touch providing tea towels, washing up liquid, loo rolls, shampoo, conditioner, body&hand wash. Good speedy communication . Smart TV appreciated! Kitchen all fully functional with all you need to cook. Heating easy to use and alter as required. Beds comfy and clean. When we come back to Blackpool we would definitely Anchor and Anchors Point ⚓️ fully recommend! Thanks for a great stay!

Brilliant few days in one of our favourite places in the world. Great weather for walking and climbing and Eleanor’s little house was perfect. Very comfortable and well equipped. Nice quiet location with friendly neighbours. Short walk into Settle then onto the surrounding hills. We love Settle as it’s got lots of good shops cafes and pubs and a nice friendly vibe. House had our two most important things. Comfy bed and good shower !!

The house was exactly as described, well equipped and perfect for exploring the Lake District. The kitchen had everything I needed and the front room and bedroom were very cosy and spotlessly clean. Tina was an excellent host, very friendly and helpful with any questions I had. I felt right at home! I also enjoyed being greeting by their dog Darcy each day :) I took a dog with me and found the house to be very dog friendly. There is a garden at the front of the property you can access via the main path and there is a gated paddock at the bottom for off lead runs. I really appreciated the extra touches such as the toiletries, dog bowls and poo bags. I would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The bed was comfortable the apartment was clean. It was very cosy! I thought it was really nice that they had provided shampoo and conditioner too which I didn’t realise I forgot mine until I went to get a bath! Really nice touch. The hosts were super helpful. The neighbours were lovely too! Can’t wait to come back. Thank you again!

Only stayed for one night visiting a friend near by , Lovely location and building , the spiral staircase was a slight worry after a few 🥂🥂🤪 Was great for taking my dog too outside area was gated so safe to let him have a wonder round off lead whilst we were sitting outside ! David and Patricia were lovely and nothing was too much trouble , answered straight away to any queries , and we even enjoyed a drink with them in the bar ! Happy days 😁

I took my 23 year old daughter here for a couple of days hiking with her pooch.. we had a lovely time, reallt nice and quite location. Amanda gives you plenty of useful information before you arrive. The hot tub stayed nice and hot yoo. We had a reallt lovely time and will definitely visit here again.

We had a lovely long weekend staying at Seaview cottage. We arrived to a spotlessly clean & warm cottage & the welcome tea, coffee, biscuits & fresh milk was just what we needed after a long journey. The cottage is very cosy & has everything you need including a well equipped kitchen & comfy beds. Although directly on a road it was calm & peaceful as there was very little traffic & we slept really well. We enjoyed some great local walks and really enjoyed our stay. Ruth provided lots of helpful info & was a friendly host.

I had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Carl was super responsive and made check-in a breeze. The little touches like fresh towels were really appreciated. The convenience store is just 3 mins away, Stanley park is 10 minutes walk, train station & city center is less than 15 minutes away with uber that cost approximately 5-8£ per booking. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Absolute gem of a house. Mark couldn’t have been a better host. House was spotless and extremely well appointed. Ansdell is a perfect spot as it’s easily accessible to Lytham and close to Fairhaven. My family lives in Lytham and when there is a big get together we sometimes need to find extra accommodation. This has been the best one we have found so far. Thank you Mark.

Denise was extremely helpful and approachable. She took the time to send a few messages to ensure we were clear on check in. Denise welcomed us and showed us to the lodge. The lodge was super clean, well equipped and Denise even supplied the basic condiments, tea, coffee, juice, milk with some welcome biscuits thrown in! The lodge was also dog friendly. The kids loved their bed room and we were all very comfortable. We had a great stay and the lodge more than met our needs. We plan to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Charlotte's lodge. It was so cosy and homely, and very well equipped for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was brilliant, with an amazing view over the lake! Charlotte was very helpful, always being quick to respond and providing very thorough instructions and recommendations. We would love to come back again in future!

Lovely stay. Accommodation was clean and better than pictures. You are located directly outside the little pond with lots of ducks. We very much appreciated the duck food that was left for us to feed them. Sun rises right over the terrace area to enjoy the morning sun. Second bedroom is small but perfectly adequate as you are not in the room for more than sleeping and getting changed. Shower was hot with great pressure. Communication was speedy and friendly. Appreciated flexible check in / out time.

Great little flat, with lots of charecter. Easy to find and park. Loved the shop idea, we were eating buffet at a party later that night so did not want a big tea, we thought lets get settled at the flat then nip for food, well we did not have to as Alison had supplied us with lots of freebies plus a well stocked freezer and cupboard with food to buy, a little shop in the flat, amazing idea. Will Definitely stay again

Another last minute booking whilst on the road. Sue responded immediately and all of her directions were crystal clear. Sue even left a few things in the fridge to help me out which was appreciated. Great place, private parking with virtually an onsite security guard! If I’m ever in the area again will be sure to book!

What a place! Absolutely stunning lodge on amazing grounds. So relaxing and peacful,while loads of space for the kids to play. Animals to pet,park to play,trampoline,huge grass area,tennis court...its great! Kate is a great host,very easy to communicate and realy friendly. The girls passing by to look after the animals were realy friendly and chatty. Felt right at home here. We will 100% book again for summer,for longer this time. Thank you for a great wee holiday.
