Lake side house rentals in Whitmore Lake

My sister and I had a peaceful long weekend at Fish Tales. It was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. It was fun to take the kayaks out and just RELAX. The cottage was a short drive to the swim race location at Half Moon lake that we were visiting for. If you are looking for a peaceful spot with beautiful views this is for you,

We held our Annual EMU friend reunion here so we would have a place to hang out after touring, going to a game, and visiting our old stomping grounds. Chris is a gracious host with a beautiful lake home. Unfortunately, 3 members of our group had medical issues which interfered with their being able to stay, which affected our cost, but we all said it was still worth dividing their portions up and paying the extra. The home is well appointed and stocked with wonderful kitchen amenities. We cooked 3 meals and had a great time in that kitchen. The sleeping spaces were very comfortable and the entire house was nice and clean. Thank you for all you do to make this Airbnb a home away from home!

I’m not sure I’ve ever stayed at a place like George’s, which is a compliment! It has to be experienced to be fully appreciated! I highly recommend it — and I didn’t even get a chance to use the kayaks!!!

Our 2nd stay at Troy’s!!! More trips coming also this summer! As I stated before, super lake front home- just perfect! Safe, restaurant within walking distance! Plenty of room for truck and boat! Close to numerous boat launches! The home is just perfect decor and waking up with the sun/lake in your face makes this home a huge bargain! Also can dock quickly can grab some lunch or anything you forgot on boat! Thanks Again Holly & some fisherman from Ohio

Very nice clean and comfy place felt right at home there was no need to call host everything that needed to know was right in the app. Location was perfect near Metropolitan Park to use boat launch and lots of great restaurants near. The only downside to this rental is the street and parking especially if you have a boat that up pulling and the fact that it doesn't have a half bath, but it was a overall great place to rent.

Very nice place to stay for the weekend. Love being on the lake with plenty to do. Nice home with everything you’d need.

A beautiful location on the lake! It was a bit too chilly for us to enjoy all the property offered but the view is fantastic. Maurice is a great host and made our stay very easy. Convenient to Ann Arbor for our graduation festivities. Our pillow preferences are different but there are so many kinds to choose from :) Definitely recommend

We enjoyed our family time together sitting around the firepit, kayaking, and playing games around the dining room table. This is a great spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors, and on the chilly days we even enjoyed sitting next to the fire indoors. When one of the showers wasn't working properly Tim came to fix it within a few hours of us letting him know. Our family from the UAE and South Africa enjoyed the cottage experience.

Great stay, perfect spot to have quick access to the lake if you brought a boat. House was clean and had all the amenities you could ask for. We had a great time, and will be making this our go to place for our annual trip.

My family and I enjoyed our peaceful getaway at the lake house. The view was spectacular. The kids enjoyed playing ping pong, corn hole, and other activities.

Very comfortable stay, super clean & neat. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for simple hot meals. Relaxing hot tub just right for two, and oodles of clean towels. Really want to say I appreciate hosts like Jamieson who politely request a few reasonable housekeeping tasks of his guests, instead of long lists of required chores and exorbitant cleaning fees. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Lotus Lake Retreat. The inside of the property was clean and the beds were comfortable. We did not spend much time outside due to family living on the lake and celebrating a birthday party. We would definitely stay there again.

We felt like we were in a hallmark movie! Super cute home right on the lake. We could hear the water when the sliders were open and it was very quiet when they were closed. Home was comfortable and welcoming. Clean and had all the things we needed. The owner Jim is just a cool guy! We were in town for work and we really looked forward to coming home every night. Two colleagues and I enjoyed our stay (nine nights) very much. The house was as described, modern furniture, very bright, clean & well equipped. We even had a nice welcome basket with tasty nibbles and wine and a personal welcome card :-). The location is very good, easy (and safe) to walk to downtown restaurants. The Supermarket around the corner was very convenient, not to forget "Crispellys" bakery :-) As it has been a business stay, we were happy with the individual work space/table in each bedroom. Wifi was very good. Our host Martine was always very friendly & helpful, shared many information and reacted very quickly. While we had some issues with the heating in parts of the house, she arranged immediately for a technician to come, even on Sunday. Shame we could not use the nice and inviting back yard due to the winter/cold, this would have been perfect (so summer is a much better time to enjoy everything in & around the house). We would definitely stay there again.

My wife and I stayed at Chris’s apartment for a wedding in Adrian, MI, and it was a perfect retreat. Arriving at 9PM after a long travel day, we settled in easily. The next morning revealed a peaceful country setting—quiet, with birds singing, ideal for coffee outdoors. The apartment was clean, as pictured, with a well-equipped kitchen (coffee maker, stove, microwave, fridge, dishes) and a spotless bathroom with ample towels. The bed was comfy, wifi reliable, and it’s just 20 minutes from Adrian. Chris was friendly but unobtrusive. Highly recommend!

Shannon’s unit was perfect for our family holiday visit. It was well stocked, clean and inviting—-from the Nest thermostat, coffee, soda/water in the fridge to the toiletries and comfy towels in the bathroom, it was just like home. We will definitely return when visiting family in the GP area. Highly recommend!

The place was absolutely gorgeous! also the neighborhood was quiet that it was a nice change of pace for us to rest after working at a noisy environment. Felt like home 🏡

The stay met our expectations. The home was so clean! I absolutely loved that the linens and towels were super white and clean. The home had beautiful white quality linen. I felt comfortable enough to walk barefoot. We all took our shoes off at the entrance because the rugs and floor were so clean! Did I mention how clean it was?! lol! The beds were very comfortable. The location was great! This will be our home when we return.
