House vacation rentals in Watkins Glen

I spent the weekend with 4 of my closest girlfriends here for a little getaway! We had a wonderful time, we enjoyed the deck, the hot tub was nice and hot! The firepit down by the creek was good for the soul! The house itself was clean & cozy. We drove 20 minutes to hike to some waterfalls, and a lot of cute cafes and winery’s near by! Sondra was quick to respond and super nice! I definitely would love to come back with my husband and kids for a little getaway again!

This was a great weekend getaway. Beautiful location, great amenities. Unfortunately it rained the weekend so we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful deck or fire pit. Will book again

Sophia and Patrick’s place was great. Everything you need in the kitchen to prepare meals, excellently cleaned and all amenities. Very secluded and quite area. Hot tub was ready for use but it rained terrible so wasn’t able to use it. Just can’t predict the weather. Sophia and Patric responded very quickly to questions and gave a number of suggestions for restaurants and places around the area. Instructions were all clear and easy to follow. Would definitely book with them again. They made our girls weekend very comfortable.

Zacharys place was clean, gorgeous and well appointed. He is a gracious host and we hope to go back when we can stay longer Highly recommend ☀️

So many positives about our stay, including location (super close and convenient walk to Ithaca Commons although very steep at parts which could be tough for some), very spacious home well appointed with fluffy towels, updated kitchen, super soft comfortable linens, ceiling fans, cozy fireplace to warm us during our cold and rainy visit, and music playing and complimentary wine upon arrival. A few negatives we experienced were ants which I later learned are common in Ithaca due to all the rain. The owner was very responsive to my message and came the following day while we were out to spray. They also left us two extra bottles of wine which was very kind and thoughtful. I didn’t see an ant for the remainder of our trip. The 2nd issue was the shower in main bathroom. Really tough for my 78 yr old mom to get in and out of so I think guests should know it’s about a two foot (?) “wall” to get into tub. I did not realize this from the pictures. Overall, very pleased and happy.

Common space nice size for family to gather. Bathrooms updated and well stocked with several extras. Both bathrooms are located on second floor. Kitchen well stocked and full coffee bar provided.

It was great to stay at Kevin’s place on Elmwood Ave. it was located in a convenient location, the house was clean, spacious and comfortable, and the price was very reasonable for the amount of people that it could hold. Thanks for letting us stay Kevin, we will look out for this place next time we’re in Rochester!

We had such a lovely stay and would highly recommend! We spent a long weekend in Rochester to visit a friend and we plan on staying again. Close to Park Ave restaurants and a short drive to the Strong Museum of Play (highly recommend if you have little ones).

I enjoyed my stay, a quaint nice country style home. Fit my family's needs and a refreshing home.

We were there for my son's graduation who lived in this vibrant neighborhood. Very fun to take walks here, and we are a walk-loving family. We could walk to my son's place and to restaurants and the Kodak mansion. It was my husband and I, a brother-in-law, and three grandparents. Only one bath with a shower, but we managed that as we don't all shower daily anyways (we are kinda MN granolas I guess). The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I am a bit of a clean freak. Awesome grocery story very close, Wegman's, which has a cult-like following. We liked dining together in the dining room and hanging on the porch and having drinks. Pretty easy to please this crowd. They didn't have a 9x13 pan at the time, but that was about the only thing the kitchen was lacking, could use firmer spatulas and a larger-size fry pan which we borrowed from kid. The kitchen worked well otherwise. We ate our lunch, breakfast and one dinner at the house and ate out other meals. Fun family time.

This was a a great listing for our travels to Rochester for the weekend.

This is such a great find! First off, the location is perfect if you want to be in the Park Ave area but want a more quiet, peaceful setting. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The apartment is clean, bright and perfectly appointed with everything you could possibly need. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Katie!

An absolutely beautiful view and great place to stay. Very relaxing and so close to a lot of beautiful hikes and waterfalls.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Dylan’s with 3 others for 3 days and it was a beautiful, clean home. We had no issues with anything . Dylan responded to us no problem, the house looked even more beautiful than the pictures, the pool was a good temperature, the hot tub was our favorite thing in the backyard. We used the fireplace and it was really nice as well as the grill, we loved making food on there too. Overall it was an amazing experience Dylan was great with communication and hospitality. I would definitely book with him again.

Appreciated the attention to details, especially the needs of young children staying over - they had age appropriate games, plates & utensils, high chair, pack & play. Nothing was missed. The house was cozy and had plenty of functional space. We would have loved to utilize the pool area in the backyard, if visiting in warmer months!

Beatriz’s place was exactly as advertised! It was spotless and beautiful and perfect for what we needed. Sadly the weather didn’t cooperate for us to use the outdoor areas, but Beatriz and her husband were nice enough to help us get the fireplace going for a late spring cold-weather snap. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was set up great for entertaining. I would absolutely recommend Beatriz’s place if you’re going to Rochester. It is located near lots of restaurants and shopping areas. You can’t go wrong here! We would not hesitate to stay at one of her homes again if we are ever back in the area!!!

This was a terrific stay. The hosts communication from beginning to end was as good as can be expected. The home was cozy and well appointed. The property was beautiful and peaceful. 5 stars, will recommend and return again. Thank you!

Neil’s place is an absolute gem. The home was spotless and incredibly welcoming, with thoughtful touches throughout. One of the biggest highlights for us was how dog-friendly it is. The fully fenced yard gave our dogs plenty of space to play, and the indoor heated pool was a dream come true (there was even a floatie just for dogs). The garage was a great bonus too. Neil was a wonderful host — responsive, kind, and clearly takes pride in making sure guests have a great stay. We’re already looking forward to booking this property again. Highly recommend!

We loved this place! Our family (6 of us) were in town for a family wedding. The house was perfect. Room for all of us, beautiful house. large and spacious, big bedrooms with comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen (with plenty of coffee). Everything was clean and pristine. The house is very remote in a beautiful spot. We could not have asked for more.

This was our second visit to Esten-Wahl Farm and a second standout experience. We had family and friends visit us there and they all felt the same way.

This is my families second stay at Bree’s beautiful home for the Christmas week. The family gathers from all different cities and such a perfect spot to come together ! Cozy and spacious , kitchen is well supplied and the views are spectacular. We were so happy to have a white Christmas this year and 6 fox sightings in the yard!! Highly recommend!! Haven’t stayed for the summer season but I can imagine with the pool and hot tub and lake use opportunities it would amazing. Thanks again Tom
