Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Vico Equense

We had the most amazing time on our honeymoon staying here! Carlo met us promptly upon arrival, walked us to the house and gave us tips for getting around Positano. The terrace was amazing and offered spectacular views. This side of Positano was less crowded and we were happy to not be in the craziness of the main beach and port. It was a quick walk to literally everything. We hope to come back, and highly recommend!

We had a fabulous time in Sorrento and staying with Maria Laura was wonderful. She was very accommodating and gives great restaurant recommendations. The place itself had the charm of the region and is a peaceful stay amongst the lemon trees. It is a bit of a hike up the hill but it did not detract from our stay. Overall, highly recommend!

Gorgeous home, really airy and spacious with a spectacular view. We had breakfast on the terrace every morning. Arianna was really welcoming, helpful and friendly. She arranged our taxi transfers and porters for our large luggage. I would recommend the luggage porters if you have large bags. We loved the location, Praiano Is pretty with amazing views, it has some lovely restaurants and we really loved swimming in Furore, ☺️. There is a great delicatessen close to the house which also has coffee and very good hot food to takeaway. We were here for a week and would love to have stayed longer and would definitely stay here again.

This place is very large. It’s on 5 floors. The bedrooms are comfortable and the second bedroom would be so much fun for kids. Lots of stairs in the place. It’s in a quiet town so you get a better more local feel for the area. The view from the church was impressive. Great stay

I stayed here with my family for a couple of days while we visited the area. The house is situated high up on a hillside with some lemon trees and spectacular views. The pictures don’t do it justice, looking down from the rooftop at the sunset on the water is stunning. The house is updated, nice and clean and we all felt at home there. Michele and his sister were very friendly, communicative and helpful. They answered any questions about the house as well as provided local recommendations for restaurants and activities. Michele arranged pick up and drop off to and from the house for dinner. Our stay was excellent here and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Positano. We would love to come back sometime! 🍋

We have just had an amazing stay at Carolina's beautiful house!! Carolina is an exceptional host, very welcoming, informative and helpful. She went above and beyond. The views were stunning from the Terrace, we loved sitting out in the evening and drinking Carolina's family made red wine. She even supplied us with fresh zucchini, onions and basil from her garden. Praiano also comes highly recommended. This area is so special. Thank you so much Carolina!!! We didn't want to leave.

This place is a gem in positano. The view is absolutely amazing and the privacy is welcomed in such a busy tourist town. Like all of Positano, there are a lot of steps. Giovanni is a pleasant host as well. He was kind enough to greet us and show us the way. He also helped us book a taxi back at a better rate than local services. The home offers a lot as well. Absolutely loved this place

We had a great stay at Mario’s place!! My friends and I had done a backpacking trip and Mario was kind enough to pick us up from the train station on arrival with our bags as it’s about a 20-25min walk uphill from the Seiano station to the air bnb. Mario was so kind during check in, pointing out all the nearby restaurants, super markets and giving us recommendations. He had supplied us with enough goodies for our first breakfast and provided us with a contact for taxi service that we so gratefully used a few times during hot temperatures and after tiring days! They were so sweet. The walk to the air bnb after each outing was intimidating at first but definitely doable, 20min walk to the train station to access Sorrento and other nearby towns and 20-25mins to the Seiano beaches. The view from the air bnb overlooking the bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius is absolutely breathtaking and definitely worth all the steps! Such a peaceful location to end off our trip.

Danilo and his mother were the sweetest! they welcomed us into their accommodation with open arms. They gave us snacks upon arrival and then they ordered us pizza for dinner. We ate on the terrace with the cats, chickens, and birds. It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. The view was absolutely lovely and Danilo’s mom was so nice to talk to. I finally got to practice my italian with her and she talked slow so I could understand. We had a great conversation. This accommodation was a little difficult to get to but Danilo gave us very detail instructions with pictures. It helped a lot. I would recommend this place if you have a car and are okay with driving up a narrow road. We will always remember our night in Castellammare di Stabia!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rosanna’s place. The terrace views were absolutely breathtaking, and the location was quiet and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Rosanna was incredibly gracious, meeting us at a local market and personally escorting us to the house. She provided clear and detailed instructions, along with helpful tips for local restaurants and public transportation. As a thoughtful welcome, Rosanna offered us a platter of delicious, locally grown fruits—we were so grateful for her hospitality. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her place again. A few things to note: we rented a Citroën C5 (similar in size to a RAV4) and were able to drive and park it in the garage without any issues, though driving in the area does take some getting used to. We enjoyed several local eateries, including La Gabriela and Pizza De Cardone—both were excellent. Just a heads-up: the area can get very busy with both tourists and locals, so it’s a good idea to plan ahead and make reservatio

Luigi was a great, communicative host! We stayed before our flight out of NAP the following day. Luigi provided clear instructions on how to access the apartment, and was very friendly through the whole process. Once we arrived, it was exactly how it was advertised - a gorgeous rooftop apartment with a beautiful terrace. Luigi provided all that we needed and then some for a brief stay, and even gave recommendations on what to do in the area. Thank you, Luigi!

Can’t recommend Federica’s place enough! Such a great spot & easy to get to Napoli, Amalfi coast, Capri, Pompeii… we enjoyed our stay throughly & Federica was so friendly & kind. She provided many options & recommendations to make our holiday the best experience.

Fabulous location for experiencing the laid-back Italian life-style with beautiful surroundings. Vico Equense is a buzzing town with lots to do and see, day and night. Very good bus and train services to Sorrento (with onward ferries to the beautiful island of Capri) and historical sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum. If you get a chance, take a drive south to Positano- the coastal views are wonderful. We ran out of time but definitively plan to return in order to visit Amalfi and Ravello. The apartment is very clean and comfortable and has all you need for a great vacation. The outdoor area is spacious and surprisingly private and great for watching the world go by. Alfonso gave us a wonderful Italian welcome and his communication was excellent throughout, as he did all he could to ensure we had a perfect stay.

We loved our stay in Marina Grande and appreciated the location partway along the way of the long, steep path between the water and the shopping/restaurants. Beautiful view from the balcony! 40 steps to get to the second floor can be tricky when you’re coming up from a swim down below, but still manageable. The apartment has everything you need and Federico is so helpful, organized and friendly!

Erika was brilliant! There were some challenges in relation to the AC which she solved efficiently and quickly. I think it’s better when writing a review that I comment on actual events, as opposed to “it’s great”, “super five stars”, etc. etc. The bottom line was if I had an Erika - and an appartment like Erika’s - all the time, then it would be fantastico! We cannot recommend the apartment and host highly enough. Francesca's proactive, friendly and thoughtful service made our stay much more than a great apartment in a beautiful location. She helped to make our stay a special and memorable experience. Her knowledge and connections with the businesses, including restaurants (La Terrazza o' Curniciello, Luca's, Lemon Likes) and transportation (Gianni - Transportation King of the Coast), and the people of the area were incredibly helpful. In fact, the local community was welcoming and worked together to ensure that visitors enjoy their time there to the utmost. We are truly grateful...!

An ideal place if you plan to do the Path of the Gods, as it is literally at the beginning of the tour. Rita was very kind; she waited for us in the square to accompany us to the accommodation. The space had everything you need for a comfortable stay, everything was impeccable and the surroundings are very peaceful.

We had a lovely time at Helgas place in Sorrento! Clean and beautiful space, open and gorgeous surroundings! The check in process was super easy, one of the lovely hosts met with us and showed us everything, really responsive and helpful when we needed anything! We enjoyed a couple mornings in the private courtyard and watching the sunset down on the balcony by the sea! Wondering through the lemon and orange groves was picturesque! Sorrento was a great place to visit, the town and restaurants and beach clubs all within a 20 minute walk We would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Sorrento, we wish we could have stayed longer!

If you’re after the beauty of the Amalfi coast without the crowds then come to Praiano. I agree with so many of the other reviews about the scenery, helpful friendly hosts, apartment and town. I would recommend to others and revisit myself.
