Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Campania

We absolutely loved our stay. Maria was so welcoming and the accommodation was just perfect. We were excited to meet the dogs and they were both adorable and so friendly. The views from the apartment were just fabulous and the breakfast each morning on the terrace was such a wonderful way to start the day. The beds were so comfortable and we had everything we needed. From here we were able to visit Naples, Pompeii and we travelled to Sorrento. This was the perfect base to return to. Thank you Maria, we had such a lovely time.

Claudia made it very easy for us. But keep in mind Positano , Positano is beautiful but not necessarily easy to get anywhere but “down”. Still Claudia gave us great instructions on where to get off the bus from Amalfi, and then where to go to meet her. We found her waiting - and when she brought us inside, the view will take your breath away. You might never want to leave the terrace. Just be prepared for stairs. There are stairs everywhere in Positano. Just look at it as part of the charm of a hillside town. We loved Claudia’s place. Everything was spotless and she had lots of extra perks. I would not hesitate to recommend Claudia’s place to anyone - just keep in mind the stairs or check out the local bus, or taxis or maybe if you’re adventurous - rent a scooter. Loved our stay with Claudia in Positano.

Carlo’s place was just what we were looking for. Very unique yet we felt at home. Carlo was very responsive and extremely helpful. I forgot our passports and he graciously hand delivered them to our hotel.

What can I say about Adriana and Jean-Luca? Simply the best hosts. From before we arrived with helpful advice and all through the stay with lots of lifts to Pompeii and the local train station, just outstanding service with big hearts! The house was immaculate and the garden and pool fantastic. Easy access to local shops with everything you need. It’s in a quieter area of Pompeii which suited us. Just amazing!

I stayed here with my 2 children recently and had a fantastic holiday. Maria was very helpful and responsive. The property was set in a lovely peaceful location with safe parking for our rental car. The property itself was clean and comfortable. The terrace was wonderful with stunning sea views. The location is perfect for anywhere on the Amalfi Coast. We also took trips to Pompeii, Naples, Capri, Herculaneum and Sorrento. This place is highly recommended

Licia is the best air b n b host we have ever had! She made our trip seamless and was helpful in coordinating reservations and cabs. She is as very sweet and all of her recommendations were spot on. The home was even more beautiful than the photos. As the listing and many reviews state, it is at the top of Positano. The walk down was reasonable with many steps but only about 15-20 min to town. My mother was able to make it back up the steps one time but she did not prefer it and it took us around 45 mi, but like I said Lucia helped us coordinate rides and gave us bus instructions. There is also a nice restaurant at the top of the hill across the street called da constantino if you have a night you do not want to go to town.

What can we say that hasn't already been said in all the positive reviews? We loved the Airbnb, especially the veranda where we would sit out, listen to music, drink our wine and enjoy the views. And of course there is the private beach. Yes, it is 200+ stairs down (and back up LOL) but the views on the way down were great and then once down the beach was amazing. We shared the beach with just a few people with no fighting over chairs and umbrellas, plenty to go around. There were plenty of play things to keep everyone busy, kayaks (singles, doubles), paddle boards..... The beach was the highlight of our stay. Town was not far of a walk with places to eat along the way. We are in our 60's with my husband having a knee replacement we had no problem getting around, in fact it was good for him (LOL). Vito was very accommodating and met us early as our driver from Sorrento dropped us off in front of the property. Vito made sure we felt welcome. It was a wonderful vacation.

I would stay at Michele’s over & over again if I could!!! Such a beautiful, perfect spot in such a kind and responsive, helpful host. I can’t say enough good things about this place, it is in the perfect spot for everything you want to do in Positano. Very well furnished, in fact we bought groceries literally across the street from the home, and cooked a meal, which was a dream! Michele greeted us with Prosecco as a gift and even went so far as to gift us a special souvenir, a ceramic plate and bowl, handmade in Positano. It was truly a treasure, and so kind, he was very informative, I loved seeing his little dog, run up and down the steps my only regret is, I wish we could’ve stayed longer, Michele was an Exceptional HOST❤️❤️

Cannot say enough about the beautiful apt, grounds and host family! Wonderful experience with Anna and Francesco, who went above and behind with grace and hospitality. The location is a bit odd a first, a busy cut through farm street. The overall location is great s it makes so many places accessible: towns, villages, tourist attractions. The apt itself was just right in every way for my father and I: clean and inviting. It definitely became our home away from home! Some days we didn’t want to leave! They thoughtfully placed some snacks and drinks to enjoy after our long journey. We are excited to return!

Vittorio and Francesca were perfect, attentive hosts. They arranged our return transfers from Naples airport and were present to help with luggage on arrival and departure. Communication before and during our holiday was excellent. The apartment was clean and well stocked with the basics, as well as thoughtful extras, such as slippers, toothbrushes, shower gel, shampoo etc. Welcoming drinks in fridge too. The view from the huge terrace was absolutely stunning. Easily the best viewpoint in Praiano! (As mentioned in a previous review, the barking of neighbourhood dogs tended to spoil the tranquility, but obviously this is out of our hosts control.) It took us a while to get used to walking on the very narrow, busy road outside the apartment and guests need to take care as there is no pavement and traffic is fast. Thank you, Vittorio and Francesca for your diligence and outstanding hosting. You are indeed Super Hosts!

Luigi was amazing! Super clean unit, well equipped with great views. Luigi was so helpful in getting us a taxi when needed and giving us a ton of information. Safe building, we would stay here again. Luigi was a wonderful host and we appreciated his attentiveness while we were there.

the apartment, the house and the view is beautiful. Fabio is a wonderful person, very responsive and easy to communicate with. and Fabio was kind to let us stay longer as we overslept.. very close to pompeii by car and i definitely recommend this place.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Praiano, Italy! The location was perfect, offering stunning views of the Amalfi Coast. The host Roberta was incredibly welcoming and provided great recommendations for local restaurants and activities. Beautiful flat, fantastic location with amazing view. Frederico took the time to meet us, and provided lots of great recommendations for dinner! He was always quick to respond to any questions we had. The flat was well equipped and we really enjoyed our stay there!

Beautiful apartment, sparklingly clean with a great view from the roof terrace. A great location- around the corner from the duomo and local shops. Easy walk to the promenade and through the lanes of the old town. Lots of stairs to the apartment so make sure you’re fit! The host, Nona Marguerita met us and was very friendly.

You HAVE to stay here! The apartment is absolutely beautiful, and the terrace view is gorgeous. Candida was unavailable at the time, but she was communicative and her friend Maria checked us in. She was very responsive, kind and helpful. She gave us a full tour and she provided tons of local recommendations. We would definitely stay here again! (There’s also an elevator so you do not have to travel up all the flights of stairs with your luggage, but there are steps to get all the way down to the beach so be ready for a walk!)

Erika was a very gracious host! Super responsive and respectful. The apartment was very clean, spacious, and had a binder of recommendations for things to do in the area.

Beautiful place in a great setting. While the apt does not have sea views it looks out on a lovely orange and lemon grove and a short walk through the garden leads to a cliff top seating area overlooking the entire Bay of Naples and Vesuvious. It is an easy walk to the Sorrento center but very quiet at the apartment.

Marco's house overlooking the bay of Baia is simply a dream. When you step out of the kitchen onto the shady veranda, you have a view of the bay. There lies the sunken Roman Baia, which can be discovered under water. Cook delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen and eat outside with a view of the sea. Romantic. Your own little restaurant, just the way you want it. We were there for eight days and enjoyed every day. Dreamlike. At night, the air conditioning ensures a good night's sleep and the two bathrooms offer comfort for everyone. Marco is a very friendly host who actively supported us and also helped us individually in one situation. THANK YOU. Five stars for Marco and this wonderful house.

Wow! This flat had an absolutely beautiful view over the bay. It was cozy but all we needed for our trip to Naples. I felt very safe with the door and guard and entry.

Perfectly situated apartment in fantastic and convenient neighborhood. We had everything we needed to feel at home for our weeklong stay — including a very well-equipped kitchen. The terrace and the view from the apartment are stunning! Paola and Stefano are the perfect hosts. Would absolutely stay again!
