We had the most fantastic stay in beautiful San Miniato. Walter and his Father were exceptional hosts. There was beyond generous provision in pantry, fridge and fruit bowl. Walter was very keen to offer to refresh bed linen and towels as often as required and was also very keen to remove recycling/ rubbish etc very quickly. Walter is so friendly and very kind even arriving on Easter Sunday with a beautiful traditional Easter cake. He is an exceptional host, thank you so much.

Honestly if we could give six stars we would. Incredible scenery, the house is surrounded by vineyards as long as you can see and you are free to walk in them. The apartment is part of the owners house but there is a separate entrance and garden and terrace so it’s really like its own place. We got lots and lots of local tips from the nonno at the house who showed us all the wineries we had to visit. He also brought us a couple of bottles when we said we were looking for the local stuff. 10/10s! There is a giant dog (teddy bear) at the house called Spike who loves people and good pets:)) Tuscan dream achieved✅ Only thing to beware of is the road you choose up to the property. Google maps first led us up a really steep mud hill, with lots of bumps. That’s not the main road up; be careful with your cars;) if you keep going around the hill, there is a nice paved road all the way up.

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation is in a great location for visiting the area: Pisa, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano... We were hosted very well and the accommodation is equipped with all the essentials for a pleasant stay. Feel free to book!

The place and location were great, the warmth of the hostess unbeatable and also the tips for activities very helpful. Unfortunately, we were not so lucky with the weather, otherwise we would have liked to use the beautiful pool area. We will be happy to come back to enjoy the property in the sun.
