House vacation rentals in Varano Borghi

The four days of six in the house were simply fantastic. We felt very comfortable every minute. The house and the garden with the pool are very lovingly and modernly furnished with regional accessories. There was nothing missing and the view of the lake is simply stunning. Monia always responded super quickly through the app and helped with all questions. Very nice and accommodating landlady who cares for the house with passion and prepares the guests. On Monia's recommendation, we spontaneously took part in the now annual Wine&Food tour of the small village of Montemezzo. Simply authentic, delicious and with many beautiful encounters. The most beautiful place🫶🏼 Arrived home after the most beautiful 3 night stay in Radus home and wow is all we could say! The view is really something else and the photos do not do it justice. Radu was extremely responsive to all my enquiry’s leading up to & during our stay and also sent us a lot of recommendations for places to eat and visit. After reading a few reviews about the walk from menaggio to the villa we can clarify you most definitely need a car if you don’t want cpr at the top🤣 Transport usually stops around 5/6pm for the buses, taxis and we found even ferry’s meaning it was a lot walking back to the villa especially after eating. In the day there is a bus stop about 5 minutes away making it super easy to get up and down. The accommodation itself was superb and was very well equipped, even with refreshments on arrival which was a nice touch. Overall our stay was more than we could of imagined and would stay again…with a car this time🤣

Amazing host and a breathtaking view. Too bad we couldn't use the pool due to cold windy weather but had an amazing time with family and kids. with only 10 min drive to local attractions and ferry. I would highly recommend this Michele and his property.

Spectacular scenery and beautifully designed property

Beautiful surroundings and well-worth the walk into town (there’s a very easy/safe path from this property into town - just expect to get some good exercise walking back up).

We felt very comfortable in the house Everything as on the pictures , pool was also great , barbecue was available , enough space to park. Andrea was very friendly, the communication was excellent and otherwise we were also satisfied.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our city break staying at MariaGrazia’s place. The location was excellent and MariaGrazia was friendly and responded quickly to any queries we had. The place itself was lovely; very clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend it.

Clean, large apartment, 4 spacious bedrooms, fit a group of 6 as we were. Central to area attractions. Nice homeowners are inviting.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fiorella's house, which was perfectly located in a peaceful environment. Fiorella was really responsive and welcoming. The house is well adapted to a small family. We will definitely come back to Fiorella's house

Caroline's home was a wonderful fit for our family of five (2 adults, 3 kids). We found it spacious, practical, and very convenient. The kids especially loved the amazing garden, where we enjoyed many meals in the lovely weather. Caroline was also super responsive and friendly, and she was very flexible with our check-in and check-out, which was a great bonus. The frequent public transport on lines 7 and 1 made exploring the area easy.

Ana's and Carlos' apartment in Vira is absolutely wonderful! Probably the best we have experienced so far on Airbnb. All seemed new, super well maintained, looked brand new, super clean, almost like we were the first ones ever staying there. The design of the apartment and the attention to detail of the host is something I never experienced on this level. The price, considering we are talking about Switzerland, was also very good. The location is also perfect, in the old center of the village of Vira surrounded by old stone houses, near the lake. When you open the window in the master bedroom in the morning, you are greeted with the marvellous view of the old church, the old village houses, the lake and the mountains towards Locarno (and you can get to Locarno by boat in 20 min). If we will be back in the area of Locarno, this is the place we will try to stay at, for sure!

Our family of 8 had an amazing time staying at this place. The location was really good especially if you’re spending time in Bellagio and Como Town. The house felt very homey and the views were unreal. Would definetly recommend this place to stay if you’re coming to Lake Como and if you have a car to get around. The host was also very responsive. The outdoor terrace area is what made this place stand out in comparison to other locations, especially when there was good weather.

We had a great time with friends at Mattia's, who is a very welcoming, friendly and responsive host. The views from the balcony are just amazing. You feel very good in this cozy apartment located in a typical little village. Before our arrival, I received all the practical tips so that we could park, eat, shop, hike, etc. Those few days spent at Mattia's were a real change of scenery and a real disconnection. Thank you Mattia for hosting us. It's my pleasure to come back.

We very much liked the house and its surroundings. Perfect for those looking to discover the area of Lago di Como. Very close to Varenna and with an amazing view of the mountains. A place to come back to!

We had a super cozy stay at Marko's lovely house. Very clean and well stocked. There is not much soul in the local area and few and not so welcoming restaurants but we took small trips to e.g. Lake Maggiore and there are many small cozy towns. Arona is also worth a visit. We can really recommend Marko's house. Thank you for your stay, Marko.

Quiet and relaxing stay. Communication was easy and efficient. Accessible by train, 10-15 minutes walk from the station. Thank you for everything:)

Beautiful place. We really wanted a peaceful spot with beautiful views and got exactly that. The house is up in the mountains above Lenno with access to good restaurants but it was a challenging walk from town. Recommend getting a car and taxis are not consistent. We would go back to the area and back to the same house.

We had a wonderful time at Claudia's place. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and also in the following days Claudia helped us with all our concerns. The accommodation is very quiet and above all from the balcony you have a beautiful view. The village and the surrounding area also enchanted us. We will be happy to come back!!!
