Lots of fun for our family! Quick 15-20 min drive to Legoland, the kids ran inside and instantly loved all the Lego features in the house (super inviting for them to play in the bunk bed room with legos available). The huge bean bags were also a hit with the kids (they even open up to become like a bed which made for a fun sleepover in the family room one night). Hot tub was an added bonus! It was too cold for us to use the pool during our stay but I could imagine that being awesome during the warmer months. You can tell the hosts want to make you feel comfortable, everything you need is available for you.. clean house, very comfortable beds, close to restaurants/stores. The host is very responsive and sent clear, easy instructions for check in and check out. Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing time during our stay. The house is beautiful with great views. There are many windows and glass doors to embrace the outdoors. The house is very homey and the decor is very nice. The beds are extremely comfortable and the linens are very soft. We had everything we needed for the whole weekend, the house is fully stocked. The hot tub was a hit! We wish we could have stay longer.

The house was incredibly homey, with comfortable and clean beds. There are plenty of great restaurants in the area, and it's conveniently close to freeway entrances and exits. The hosts were very reliable and responsive, greeting us with texts to explain how everything works around the house. Their thoughtfulness was evident, as the house had everything we needed, and we didn't have to buy any extras. They even provided snacks! One thing that stood out was their honesty. My 15-year-old daughter left her Lululemon wallet with her debit card in it, and they immediately contacted me, offering to mail it to us the very next day. How awesome is that! Thank you again for letting us stay at your beautiful house. We definitely highly recommend it and will certainly stay there again!

Wonderful getaway! Great ocean views and an easy walk into town for things to do. The outdoor seating space was great! The beds were extremely comfortable. Any questions were quickly answered by the host.

Dan's house was just as described and matched the photos. Very clean, well organized, extremly comfortable bed! We enjoyed having all the toys in the garage. The location is perfect - so close to the beach and close to all the fun things to do in Oceanside. We had a problem with getting what we wanted to watch on TV and Dan was available right away and helped us through the process in great detail. This home is quiet and peaceful - we enjoyed the patio setup on the clear sunny days. I would definatly stay here again.

This is a well maintained clean house with a gorgeous outdoor patio and peaceful views. We appreciated the different outdoor spaces where family members could relax in the shade, play tennis, cool off in the pool or cook dinner on the grill. The gated neighborhood is quiet, safe, and conveniently located about 20 minutes from many beautiful surfing beaches and parks. We loved morning beach trips, and the outdoor shower was perfect for easy clean up. Although the owners live on site in the other half of this large residence, we only saw them when we happened to leave the driveway at the same time. Overall a very calm & peaceful place for a San Diego trip.

The Perfect Holiday Stay: We had an amazing holiday at this Airbnb with 10 friends and kids. The location was ideal—close to restaurants, shopping, and attractions, making it convenient for everyone. The house was spacious, with large bedrooms, cozy living areas, and a fully equipped kitchen. It comfortably accommodated our group without feeling crowded. Families will love the kid-friendly amenities, including books, a play area, and essentials like a high chair. The kids were entertained while the adults enjoyed relaxing. The backyard was a standout feature—big, well-maintained, and perfect for BBQs, games, or unwinding. The kids had plenty of space to play, and the adults appreciated the serene setting. We also loved being close to excellent dining options, with everything from fine dining to casual eateries just minutes away. Caroline was exceptional—responding to questions within minutes and ensuring our stay was seamless. It made our holiday unforgettable!

We had such a great time in Oceanside, CA. Overall the property was great and exactly what we were looking for. The rental was super clear and easy to access. The hosts had great communication and were proactive on one of the days they needed access for a short period of time. I would absolutely stay there again if I get the chance.

This is a wonderful place! It was perfect for two couples celebrating the birthday of one of us -- with two separate bedrooms, each with its bathroom. It will also be great for a larger family. There is an upper deck from which you can see the ocean, which is perfect for a relaxing morning coffee and/or cheerful happy hour. We were steps away from the water and did not miss the spectacular sunsets from Tower #9. The well-equipped kitchen allowed for the preparation of fully cooked meals, and the dining table was beautiful, which allowed us to fully enjoy those meals. We love Oceanside and really hope to return soon and stay close to Tower #9 again!

We spent six nights in the cottage. The longer we were here, the more we appreciated it. It was set up with guests in mind - things like bedside lamps, full sized refrigerator that was clean and empty, a new stove, lots of storage space, a great shower, and small garden spaces outside each entry. If you're looking for sleek and showy, this may not be the place but if you're looking for a comfy, cozy, and extremely clean place that's only a block or so from the seawall and walkable to the village, this cottage is for you.

Outstanding place in a terrific location and a great, communicative, and lovely host. It's right on the water, so you can hear the soothing sounds of the waves crashing. The bed and home is extremely comfortable. There's tons of terrific things to do. The host is very responsive, clear, and kind.

Beautiful modern home in a great location. There was a great bakery (Don Felipe's Panaderia) near and plenty of other food places in walking distance. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms and closets were spacious. The kitchen had plenty of seasonings, quality dishware, utensils and cookware. We did get to utilize the grill and the kitchen was stocked with grilling tools. Parking was a breeze and secure. Everyone we encountered was friendly and polite.

Super peaceful stay at WPI! Sandra was more than accommodating. She met us upon arrival to cart us and our luggage from our parking spot to the cabin because recent snowfall had left the road muddy. She also met us upon check out to take us back to the car. We highly recommend the Woodpile Inn for a relaxing, peaceful getaway among the beautiful pines of Palomar Mountain!

The house was very clean. we had everything needed since we came with kids, The game room was amazing and the view was beautiful. I would definitely go back.

We had an incredible time at the Almost Heaven cabin! The cabin is the perfect mix of rustic charm and creature comforts, like the clawfoot tub, stocked kitchen, and comfy furnishings. The host was extremely responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We had quite a bit of snowfall, and she took the extra time to send us a video showing us how to find the house in snowy conditions and where to park. We also appreciated all the special touches, like the hot tub being already warmed up when we arrived. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet. Our kids loved playing in the snow and then soaking in the hot tub surrounded by trees. As mentioned in the description, there are some stairs and uneven surfaces, so probably not ideal for someone with mobility issues, but the cabin worked extremely well for our family of four and our doggo. The downstairs bathroom was super fun… it reminded us of the Madonna Inn! Lots of quirk and fun to be had at this special place. We hope to come back soon!

The on site manager was just a call away and was very helpful! The area had friendly people, we were able to enjoy a peaceful stay. I’ve stayed at a smaller place which was more expensive and didn’t have as many amenities included so this stay was definitely worth the price ! Great view of the stars while we roasted s’mores, over all a perfect weekend getaway trip!! <3

Martin was very understanding and helpful when deciding whether to go up to his cabin during a rain and snow storm. He have me current and neccesary details and was patient while i made a decision whether we could come or not. we decided not to come the weekend we planned because of the chance the roads were going to be hard for us to get up in the middle of a storm and potential ice on roads. Martin was willing to let us reschedule for another time. thank you!!!

Most definitely check the weather before arriving. We went in winter the snow was very deep so we couldn’t park in the driveway however the instructions were very clear and helpful. I’d advise to bring heated blankets if you’re going in the winter. The kitchen was fully prepared whatever you needed they got it! Also it was very convenient that they have washer and dryer. The scenery was beautiful. The neighbors very polite. I would say if strong WiFi is needed I’d suggest to bring WiFi booster other wise if you wanna disconnect like we did this place is perfect! Still has WiFi but not strong enough for multiple devices. Id love to come back again in the spring! Stargazing here is beautiful this is a definite must! Thank you!
