Awesome home in a great location on the lake. The upper level on the dock is a huge plus.

What a beautiful home! The house was so inviting and had plenty of room for our family of 8. The beds were probably the most comfortable beds I’ve ever experienced! We forgot few things but they had some available (body wash, extra towels etc). The kitchen was stocked with pots pans silverware, everything you would need! overall my family had a great trip! Thank you!!!

The Turner House and property are absolutely beautiful—a true peaceful getaway spot. We met my parents here to avoid a severe weather threat in our state and stumbled upon a gem! Emily is a fantastic host—friendly, quick to respond, and accommodating. We were especially grateful that dogs are welcome. One of the many perks was stargazing under the clear skies and having cows as our neighbor! We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and soaking in the tranquil farm atmosphere. The house itself is clean and has that warm touch that makes you feel like home. As a side note there are two towns roughly 15 miles away (give or take) if you need groceries or want to grab a bite to eat. As a bonus, Emily provides a coffee maker with coffee (thank you for that!). We’ve already booked our second trip and can’t wait for another family gathering at the Turner House!

It’s is absolutely our favorite place to stay. It’s cozy, comfortable and peaceful! It a great location, Michael is so easy to communicate with. We will always stay here if it’s available. Truly a beautiful space to enjoy, it’s our home away from home!

This was a great place! I hosted myself and my groomsmen here for a couple nights and felt right at home. Had everything we needed minus a couple of small things. Overall, I would recommend this place to anybody! Good price, good neighborhood 👍

Review: Our stay at the lake house on Lake Blackshear was nothing short of incredible! My family and I traveled 12 hours to spend Thanksgiving with my father-in-law, and this home provided the perfect setting for a truly memorable holiday. The views were absolutely breathtaking—watching the sunrise and sunset from the porch quickly became our favorite part of the day. The house was well-equipped with all the amenities we needed, making our stay both comfortable and convenient. We spent our days fishing and relaxing by the water, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. It was exactly what we needed to unwind and reconnect as a family. The host clearly put a lot of thought into making the home welcoming and enjoyable for guests. If you’re looking for a serene getaway with stunning views and everything you need to relax, this lake house is the perfect choice. Would highly recommend.

I can’t say enough about this little gem. Clean, private off the beaten path just like we were looking for. Our fur babies enjoyed the yard. Hosts were exceptionally nice and accommodating with any questions we had and that our stay was comfortable. Awesome book of information about the area, restaurants, etc that was super helpful. We travel often from Florida to Kentucky and this will be our stop everytime. I highly recommend!

Absolutely adored our little "staycation" weekend. Beautiful sunsets, great pool, roomy and comfortable. If we are in the area again, we will choose this venue! Thanks for everything!
