The house is located on Ermine Lake, backing the Ermine Trail Head, offering easy access to the famous Kesugi Ridge Trail and its stunning views of Mt Denali. With a variety of summer and winter activities the Denali Outpost is a fantastic Basecamp for adventure in the heart of Denali State Park. The fire pit, deck and paddle boats are shared with guests from the north side suite on the other side of the house.

Our cozy cabin is a lovely couple minute walk down to Christiansen Lake public access and less than 4 miles from the Talkeetna town center. Use the grill for a nice lunch in the sun or take the two provided beach cruiser bikes for a ride into town. Talkeetna offers epic flights seeing tours, scenic train rides to Denali Park, jet boat tours and much more. Winter visitors can enjoy miles of groomed cross country ski trails and amazing views of the northern lights.

The kitchen area features rustic wooden cabinetry, a gas stove, and a tiled backsplash in muted colors. A spiral staircase leads to the loft, while a small dining table and chairs are positioned by a window with wooden blinds. A woven basket and area rugs add texture to the floor.
