Let me start of by saying this was the PERFECT get away for me and my husband who both work demanding jobs and long hours! The river was so nice and peaceful and the hot tub was relaxing and clean which is sometimes hard to trust when renting an air bnb. Annie is a co-host on site and she was there to help with check in by showing us around and was there when we needed things. The only thing I will say is there is current home construction on the owner Pete’s house so there is a bit of noise through the day but it did not bother us at all !!! When you walk outside you may find Pete working around his yard or in his garage, Pete is the cutest old man ever he is super respectful of his guests being in his space and will check to see if he is a bother or is being too loud 🥹 10/10 recommend this place if your looking for a relaxing getaway by the river ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Lovely quiet, private cabin with a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, loads of games, CDs, movies, kids' art supplies. We'll be back!

It is a wonderful place. So comfortable and fully stocked with everything you need to cook and hangout for a long weekend. We started with a group of old friends and enjoyed our time hanging out on the deck and cooking together. We drove to the beach only 20 minutes away. After they left we had a lovely time just relaxing in the hot tub, sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful weather we had. Though I must say even if it had been raining the outside porch is well covered and you could still enjoy being out there. Everyone was very pleased with the beds, super comfortable. There were plenty of linens and even outdoor towels, as well as seperate towels for the pets. (Though we did not have any with us) If I had any comment if would be, we were slightly disappointed that their was no leaf for the dining room table with eight of us and one in a wheelchair it was a tight squeeze, but we made it work! Again, not an issue, just a suggestion! All in all one of my favorite stays.

This house was the perfect space for our large family. With two adults and six kids, there was more than enough space for everyone to sleep and share meals together. Clean, lots of natural light, and a great host to communicate with....we could not have asked for a better weekend. Thanks, Kristin!

Such a great beach cabin! Comfy beds, comfy couch, great location close to beach and town. We had a great time enjoying the sunshine in the backyard.

We had a wonderful stay at Stevie’s spot while traveling along the OR coast! This little beach cottage is a bit older and full of the PERFECT kind of charm- we loved it! It felt like a home- not a rental, which we really value! We got lucky with it being a bit of a slower season and therefore other cottage rentals around less busy, but it could be a tad busier at other times and a bit more restrictive with pets, etc. Overall this spot is such a treat! And Stevie is great, and incredibly helpful! She kindly allowed me to have medical supplies delivered on our check-in day, and was kind enough to offer to try to help make sure it was all set. We hope to come back!! You’re lucky if you can snag this spot!!

The hot tub water was very dirty when we arrived- chemicals smelled off and the water was greenish grey. However, once we told Bonnie, she had a guy there to change the water and sanitize it within an hour, so not dinging her ratings for that. Water was crystal clear/smelled great after cleaning/changing it. Everything else was great- plenty of things for the kids to do, quiet area, fenced in backyard, and very close to Pacific City.

Very private quiet location with the perfect amount of beds and baths for our family. This was a last minute trip for us, but the hosts were very quick to respond and wonderfully accommodating. We would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay at Kathleen & Dan’s! The house was very clean & had good space for us. They have a good selection of movies & games. We were in a good, private location to be able to access different things in Rockaway & to get on the road for other coastal towns. There’s a yummy coffee drive thru right nearby too. 😊

It's a great location in Manzanita with the town, grocery store and beach all within walking distance. The backyard was nice and the house was very clean. It's a cozy place and what most impressed us was the attention to detail on the little things. Instructions for appliances and electronics were present and polite. Electronic plugins and chargers were on the nightstands, extra charging cords were labeled in ziploc bags. All the kitchenware was in good shape, neatly organized. And the bathroom was very nice and had heated floors. We very much enjoyed our stay.

This was the most well-equipped and comfortable place I have stayed. The attention to detail with furnishings, artwork, and necessities was above par. The view and location were perfect for a getaway, and the instructions and labels on things made everything easy. I hope to come back in the future!

We had a fantastic stay at Groovy Digs, and an unexpected connection made the experience even more memorable! As many others have mentioned, the views are absolutely stunning, and we loved spending time watching the wildlife and beauty of the bay. The house is equipped with so many thoughtful amenities: a fully stocked kitchen perfect for preparing meals, cozy furniture ideal for reading or playing games, and for our family, the highlight was the vintage two-player Pac-Man machine—such a fun touch! The home is situated in a charming neighborhood with easy access to beaches both north and south, plus great restaurants in nearby Manzanita and Nehalem. A must-try is the plate-sized cinnamon rolls at Wanda's Café in Nehalem—delicious! Be sure to get there early (Friday through Sunday only) to grab one! We would definitely return, as the weather didn't allow us to take out the kayaks. Thank you!

Terri’s beach house was across the highway from the beach. It was very easy to walk to a beautiful beach location. There were shops and other amenities within walking distance. The house was very clean and well appointed. We were able to cook Thanksgiving dinner using all necessary and available cooking equipment! The house has a lot of stairs, so it was a little challenging for my elderly parents. The bonus room was great for my kids who are both in college, but be aware that this room is in the back of the garage and not close to a bathroom. The primary bedroom was beautiful!

I loved the open kitchen with the bar island. Spacious living room. Beautiful stairs and second floor view of the ocean. Nice sun going through the windows up top in the morning during sunrise. Nice paintings and pictures on the wall we enjoyed seeing them. Bookshelf with all the books.

Grandview is the absolute perfect place for a relaxing getaway. The home is cozy, yet beautiful and pleasing to the eye, and the views! Ocean and beach for miles! The kitchen has every gadget you can imagine, the furniture is comfortable and inviting and the beds are just perfect! I highly recommend this beautiful home, in fact I have to a couple of friends who stayed here about 3 yrs ago. This was our second stay at Maria’s, and I hope there will be many more to come.

We absolutely loved our stay at Robert and Nicole’s home. A short and not steep walk to the beach. An amazing yard where my kids played tetherball for hours and I had morning coffee listening to the birds and ocean waves, a well stocked and very clean kitchen, beautiful decor and comfy furniture and beds. Bonus ample TV’s for quiet family movie watching on the mistier days. Plenty of space for our family of five. Would stay again.

A lovely home away from home in Cape Meares. Excellent location close to path down to the beach. Cottage is thoughtfully furnished and generously supplied. Easy and friendly communications with Lucy. Wonderful kitchen with many windows - well supplied for cooking and serving meals. The ground floor living area has plenty of seating. We enjoyed using the fireplace one evening. Good sized full bathroom downstairs beside the principal downstairs bedroom. The large upstairs bedroom with half bathroom en suite has an amazing view of the ocean and includes a lovely seating area. We hope to return!

Great relaxing stay! We loved it all. perfect location near all the beaches. Loved all the plant based clean toiletries! This never happens I always bring my own and first time a place had all I loved and use. Myla was a great host and super communicative. Thank you!

Beautiful home. Very clean and well stocked kitchen for cooking when eating in. We enjoyed the variety of board games, movies, ping pong and several rounds of Mario Kart on the Wii. This is the kind of place you can tell the hosts stay in often and truly cares for. It really feels like home. Great location, easy access to beach and restaurants. I hope to stay again.

This is a beautiful house in a quiet little community. There is a very short walk to the beach in a lovely woodsy area.

Lisa's place was amazing! Super comfortable, super clean, kitchen was well supplied, area was terrific. I hope to stay again on my next trip to Nehalem.

We really enjoyed our stay. When we arrived, we did not get back into our car until the morning we left. We walked everywhere, enjoying the beach multiple times per day and even walked out for sunsets. At the house we especially liked the backyard chairs and reading in the sunshine. The house was homey, clean, comfortable. We had a fire every evening. Thank you, Mike and Cindy, for a restful week.
