What is the Resolution Center?
The Resolution Center lets you request or send money for things related to your Airbnb trip.
Hosts and guests use the Resolution Center for lots of reasons. Here are a few examples:
- Offer or ask for a refund: a guest gets sick and has to cancel their reservation at the last minute. The host uses the Resolution Center to offer them a refund.
- Pay for something extra: a host makes their guest a special, homemade dinner. The guest uses the Resolution Center to pay for the meal.
- Ask for money: a guest borrows their host’s snorkel gear. The host uses the Resolution Center to ask the guest to pay for it later.
- Make a claim on a security deposit: if you’re a host and have a listing with a security deposit, use the Resolution Center to make a claim.
Whatever the reason, most hosts and guests who use the Resolution Center come to an agreement without needing to involve Airbnb.
