Vacation rentals with a kayak in South Dakota

Nice place on the lake with beautiful views. Everything was great.

This place is just as described and shown in the photos. Very spacious and a wonderful place to stay. We had five people and could have easily fit four or five more. My husband and son really enjoyed the hot tub and we played poker at the game table. Very clean. The only down side is the stairs. They are as Brandi described but the initial steps are steep. Much easier to go up the back as they are wider. The interior steps are definitely original. The woodwork in the unit is amazing. For older people there's just one transition when you first come up the steep stairs. Kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. This place is completely dog friendly and even has a little fenced yard for them which is just awesome. My husband walked around at first taking videos of the ceiling because it's that beautiful. Literally took us 5 minutes to get to Sturgis and we had dinner across the street at the local bar/restaurant which is historic too. Could not have been any better!

Great location close to I-29 & 41st St (close to shopping and restaurants) with easy access to the home, yet a very quiet, safe feeling neighborhood. Home was as described and pictured. The hosts sent lots of auto-messages with detailed instructions, but never responded to my questions/messages which was frustrating. Back yard was great for our grandchildren with a trampoline and room to run, but also a nice hot tub for adults. We would definitely book here again due to location, plus the size and quality of the home. (We had 5 adults and 4 grands ages 6 and under.) Be sure to save 20-30 mins for checkout tasks.

Beatiful home! Well stocked with everything you might need! Felt like we had stayed there 100 times or like it was our family cabin. Warm, cozy, clean, and felt like home!

Amy's lake home provided us with a beautiful place to relax and unwind in the evenings, while we were working long days at a near-by construction project.

this our group's 4thr year staying here and we love it. it's always feels like home away from home. the house is comfortable and great for our ladies' weekend but would be awesome for families with kids too.

The cabin was great for our mom’s weekend away. The beds were comfortable, the house was quiet, views were beautiful. The beach is all rock (no sand), so that might be tricky with kids but the kayaks were great and had a hot tub (though we didn’t use). Would definitely stay again.

Our stay at Joy's French Creek Hideaway was nothing short of spectacular! The house is beautifully furnished with a warm and inviting ambiance, and the surrounding land is clearly nurtured with care. The natural beauty of the area is breathtaking and provided an unforgettable experience. Joy was incredibly responsive and supportive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We can't wait to rebook again soon! Highly recommended to other travelers seeking a peaceful, rejuvenating getaway!

This was a great family place with comfy bedrooms and common areas. The lake is peaceful with lots of wildlife to watch. The hosts made several unique and welcoming touches throughout the house.

We had a wonderful time staying at Ian's place on the lake. The view of the water from the kitchen and deck was unbeatable, and we really enjoyed using the grill and firepit, spending time on the back deck, and exploring the local area. A very peaceful and cozy spot, which I would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay!! It was the perfect accommodations and such a wonderfully appointed cabin/home. Everything we needed was right there and available. The cabin was so very clean and comfortable. Sitting in the porch in the morning having coffee was so very relaxing and peaceful. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Lots of room! Owen was very accommodating. We were planning on getting there early and didn’t make it until almost 10:00pm as we made a few unexpected stops along the way. When we arrived the exterior motion lights came on right away to light up the path and someone had just recently been there to clear snow. Our stay overall was very peaceful! Just what I was looking for!

This was our fifth stay at Antlers Retreat. Lori is a great host—always welcoming and responsive. We look forward to our next visit!
