We had an amazing stay at this Norwegian hytte! The location is breathtakingly beautiful, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The quiet surroundings made for restful nights, with comfortable beds and a hot shower to enjoy after a day of exploring. We loved the wood-fired hot tub, kayak, and fishing gear that added to the fun and unforgettable experience. The kitchen was well-equipped, and there was plenty of space for our luggage. The price was fair, and it's easily the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in. We would definitely book again!

Wonderful house. We were 8 people and enjoyed the hut enormously. Went hiking and ski touring in the area which was wonderful. Elisabeth has been a lovely host and really helpful with any questions. The hot tub was a nice pre-dinner bonus too! Thank you!

Wonderful stay in a spacious and cozy cottage. We were 10 guests, and had everything we needed! The host responded quickly and was very nice and helpful. Will be back for sure!

We had a longer stay of 7 nights with Bottolf and Siw during our Norway trip – and it was just great! The place was mainly used for relaxation, for which the Jacuzzi was absolutely perfect. The house was very well equipped, clean and cozy – you immediately felt comfortable. We would particularly like to emphasize the warm hospitality: Bottolf regularly gave us great excursion tips and always inquired whether we were doing well and whether we needed anything else. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime. Thank you for the wonderful time!

What and amazing stay we had at Oddvar chalet ! The place is quiet and beautifull on the top of a hill with à amazing view on the montains and Fjord ! THe Jacuzzi and Sauna is a must have after big journey is this beautiful région of Norway !

An amazing, peaceful location. As Australians we had no idea how it would be to stay on an island in Norway. After a first day when we learnt it was important to allow time to get around the island to the ferry (thanks to tardy sheep), we enjoyed several days out to sightsee further afield. The house is most ideal for the wonderful views, hikes and peace of the island but, if you're willing to plan carefully, trips into the Sognfjord region are certainly possible. We had a lovely stay! Absolutely stunning location right on the fjord with beautiful views both inside and outside the cabin. The area was nice and quiet with lots of sheep and apple orchards around, but also convenient to other attractions and shopping. Highly recommend staying here!

If you're looking for a home immersed in nature, with private access to the fjord, it's here. Between the hunting cabin and the country house, very well appointed, breathtaking views of Sognefjord, with its private access to the Fjord, the barbecue by the water, fishing from the pier, swimming in the "mini-port":)...Fire if needed. Pleasant rooms. Perfect for a family of 6. 6km from Vikoyri, convenient for shopping, coffee, buying fishing gear and chatting with the locals. As specified in the listing, you have to be able to walk on a mountain trail to reach the house for about 80m with a little drop. If you have a REAL all-terrain vehicle with adapted tires then you can take a path that brings you closer to the house (which we did for the suitcases). Here, you will experience the Norwegian Fjord. Mountains on three sides and a fjord on the other. If you're looking for solitude at the end of the world, this is it. A piece of advice, it's a single lane road in with blind corners and hills, so be ready to stop on a dime for on coming traffic. Also, the local market will have essentially anything you'd need, but they have eccentric hours so I'd recommend bringing along a day's worth of food to be safe.

Very cozy cabin with great views. We were greeted with a personal message in a clean and pleasant stay. The showers and toilets in the main building are fine. Friendly and smooth communication with sufficient explanation. Always available. We stayed here 1 night with a 13-month-old baby. We would recommend this stay!

The Snowy Mountain View Room, the surroundings are just too beautiful!It takes a bit of a walk outside of the summer and the snow is good if not big.Although it is on a high mountain, the room is very warm ~

Warm and cozy house, recommend

What a perfect and amazing place!!! My family and I didn’t want to leave. We could have spent all day sitting on the porch and looking at the beautiful scenery that surrounds this Airbnb. It was easy to find and the instructions to get in were really clear. The beds and pillows were also so comfortable! There’s a lot of great places to hike around and there’s also grocery stores 10-15 minutes drive. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again in the future.

Wonderful location.The house is really pretty , very comfortable and really well equipped.a little jewel. Lovely place to rest, enjoy the nature or explore the region. Thanks to Ida, all is very well organised and check in easy.

We stayed at this place with our family with 3 children for 4 nights. We were immediately impressed by the fantastic view and the very cozy house. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are fine, the living room is very cozy. The first day we took a nice walk to the opposite mountain and met a flock of sheep there. The days after it rained a lot, but we had plenty of books and board games with us. Even in rainy weather, the view never gets bored. The instructions to get to the house are very clear, as well as to switch on gas and electricity. No downsides! Highly recommended!

‏This is place is a heaven on the earth. By far the best airbnb I have ever Stayed in. ‏The host was exceptional meet, greet and gave brief about everything. ‏The home is satiated on the lake, got all what you need. The kichen is fully equipped. The bathroom got underfloor heating. The living room has an amzing view of the mountains and the lake. ‏We loved grilling outside peaceful and wonderful views.

Christoffer's house is wonderful, very cozy furnished with a wonderful view of the fjord. To get into the house, you have to drive a narrow road up a few hundred meters and then walk up again for about 8 minutes from the parking lot. Suitcases are inconvenient here or can't be carried upstairs. But that makes the location and the view so unique. Everything was exactly as described. Christoffer was always very easy and quick to reach. A great host! Thanks for a great week high up in the mountains!

Just visit Dag's Wood cabin and enjoy life/Nature/the best view. Great man who has seen a lot and likes to share his way of living. Huge chance that I will come back to this place

Accommodation in a unique location with fantastic views of mountains and fjord

The house was beautifully furnished, spacious enough for five people, very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and large enough to allow us to cook great meals and a large dining table provided ample space for us to enjoy memorable meals together. Fantastic view of the fjord. Synnove was exceptionally responsive to our requests the entire week. We would highly recommend this place and would gladly stay there again if we return to the area.

My family really enjoyed staying at Birger's cabin. The cabin was rustic and clean with a modern kitchen. It was close to activities and a great opportunity for us to unwind.
