Thanks a million for this incredible stay! Your cottage is an absolute dream – perfectly equipped, cozy and with a stunning view of the water. We could have stayed forever! A special highlight was definitely the hot tub – just awesome! After a day in the impressive nature of Norway, relaxing there was priceless. The surroundings were also an adventure in themselves, we enjoyed every second.

We absolutely loved this house and it made our trip so much more enjoyable! Our kids loved getting in the hot tub after exploring for the day. There is a waterfall a little ways behind the home that was fun to explore. The beds were insanely comfortable and overall everything felt spacious and cozy! I will say that I was a bit surprised at the walk to the house. I’m not sure why I was expecting a paved walkway that would be easy to carry your luggage on but it is definitely not that. Ha! It is very steep at the end and when carrying your luggage it feels like it is never ending. I would absolutely recommend you use the ATV service if you have anything more than carryon luggage. Had a great weekend with friends with great food and relaxation in the hot tub. The cabin was bright and cozy and the surrounding area was scenic and peaceful and with a great view that could imagine a trip here in the summer when the days are brighter🤩.

We had a fantastic stay at this little gem of a cabin. Ann and her husband were incredibly welcoming and full of great recommendations for things to do in the area. The cabin itself was cosy, well-equipped, and waiting for us with a warm fire when we arrived—a perfect touch after a long journey. The huskies were a delight! We loved giving them attention, and despite their excitement during the day, they were surprisingly quiet from the cabin at night. We booked the dog sledding experience, and it was absolutely unforgettable—thrilling, well-organised, and a must-do for anyone visiting. Overall, an amazing place to stay, with kind hosts and a truly special experience. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time in Norway and especially in Theresa’s cabin. Everything from the arrival to the departure was clear and simple. Åge s place was perfect for our 3 night-stay. The location is awesome, far from everything and surrounded by beautiful nature. It has all you need there and the solar powered battery was more than enough for our stay. We can highly recommend this place. Åge responded fast and helpful.

A small piece of jewelry. We felt totally comfortable when we arrived, which was also due to the fact that a fire was already prepared in the fireplace. It is very cozy and everything you need is there that you need. The view of the fjord is wonderful...there is always something to see and you can take great pictures. For hiking and bathing, you have to drive about 10-15 minutes, but fishing on site by boat is good. We also used the boat to go to the small island of Sild. Otherwise, as always, the communication with Laila was great and we can highly recommend the accommodation and will definitely come back.

A really nice cabin that was tastefully decorated. Well-equipped kitchen and nice rooms. Very fast and stable internet. The cabin is beautifully located overlooking the lake and with a nice distance to cross-country skiing trails. Snow removal several times a day. The cabin is cozy with many nice and quirky things that we chose to put away a little, as our grandchildren of 2 and 3 years also thought it was nice and exciting :) We had some lovely days in the cabin and the area and would love to come again.

located very close to impressive Sognefjellet area. kitchen lavishly equipped. nice views. though not a cheap airbnb enjoyed my stay there very much. - Svein immediately answered a couple of questions before, during and after check in. recommendation!

We had a nice stay in the cabin. Although there are instructions to find it, it is still a little tricky to find the way to the cabin. Thanks for hosting us! :)

What a special place tucked in the middle of the island! A great little hike to get into the cabin, and the cabin itself, situated up on a little ledge overlooking the bog and river lands is such a fun place to stay. Very comfortable inside between the fireplace, simple solar setup, deck, and you can tell Knut's recommendations come from a love of the place and area. Thank you Knut, wish we had time to explore more of your recommendations.

My roommate and his father from Canada visited this great cabin with the kids in March. The cabin is beautifully located by the fjord, with a beautiful view. Everything you need is in the cabin and there were also opportunities to fish nearby. A fantastic place to stay if you want beautiful surroundings and some peace and quiet. Higly recommend.

Like everyone said in this evaluation: if we had known how great this place was, we would have stayed a bit longer. The accommodations are basic but exactly as described in the ad. The views by contrary can’t be described. Simply stunning! And the Trine was so helpful in fetching us some wine and untangling the fishing line 🎣

We stayed a few days in Anita's cozy cabin - we enjoyed the view, communicatoin with Anita was very good, we would love to come back.

It’s a charming cottage with a lovely little boating opportunity just down the hill. Makes for a romantic getaway and would recommend! Heated floors, clean, nice views.
