The Birdbox fully lived up to our expectations and completely matched pictures and descriptions. Host was fast and friendly in communication. The view is absolutely amazing. We loved every minute of our stay. 🤩

We were well received, and got well explained how things were and how to get up to the box, well marked path all the way up. We had two amazing days up in the birdbox. Got to completely unplug and recharge our batteries. Had breakfast outside and enjoy every minute. Sjølom we were not super lucky with the weather, so there is nothing when we could sit inside the heat to just enjoy a lovely view with Norwegian autumn weather.

Friendly and helpful host, plus amazing environment and unique experience.

A unique AirBnB - waking up to the incredible views at the Birdbox was an experience we will never forget. Staying here is an adventure so be prepared for it to feel like a premium glamping experience. Unfortunately our host didn’t respond to a message we sent a few days prior to arriving when trying to clarify exactly what kitchen facilities are available. Turns out there are some very basic kitchen facilities, such as a camping stove, chopping board, knife, wine glasses and mugs which was helpful (but would have been useful to know in advance).

Jan’s place has gorgeous view and most importantly we spotted our first northern lights just minutes after we checked in. The place had all that we needed for a nights stay. Though initially we thought the toilets were going to be an issue, it wasn’t at all. Everything was smooth and Jan being available just minutes from the place was a good thing. We loved the place and created one of our best memories here. Thank you!

Cannot say enough about this little gem in Norway! It was the most perfect Airbnb to end our trip with. Pictures don’t do this place justice. We arrived at night and Jeremy & Erle provided a video of the trail which was a godsend! Thank you for welcoming us into this actual slice of heaven

Absolutely breathtaking view. House is amazing, huge living/kitchen/dining area. Hot tub was fab. House and beds are cosy and comfortable. Grocery store about 5-10mins drive along the road. 25-30 min drive to/ from Stavanger through the tunnel. Perfect place from which to explore the fjords. You need a car. Sushi from Sushi & Wok in Tau was excellent. Would definitely love to come back for a longer stay!

Super nice place to stay, with breathtaking views. The location in the middle of the forest is also very nice.

We had a fantastic time at Kundan’s home. It was everything I had hoped it would be. Ann-Karin was great. We so appreciated her.

Melissa’s enchanted cabin is such a special place to enjoy and explore Norway. We came hoping to see the Northern Lights and were able to see them every night it wasn’t cloudy (2x during our week stay!). Melissa was extremely helpful with recommending spots all across Northern Norway - Salangen, Andøya, Lofoten, etc. We were especially impressed with the cabin’s high-end appliances, board game selection, and gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows! Highly recommend :)

Leon Karl is a really nice and informative host, and the cabin itself is both clean, neat and cozy. We felt welcome from the start and had so much fun that the days flew by. The landscape around the cabin is simply enchanting, with many nice hiking areas. It's also a magical experience to see the starry sky from the jacuzzi. I really can't help but recommend this cabin further, because the stay here has been great! - and I already envy the next guest ☺️

An ideal place to come to peace! The apartment itself is superbly equipped and upon arrival we felt right at home thanks to Frank's loving preparations (it was heated and there was chocolate and wine ready). Check-in was very straightforward with a key box and although we didn't meet our host in person, he was very attentive and wrote to us again in the evening when the northern lights could be seen. Since we were in Sommarøy in October, the beaches and the island were also like empty, which we enjoyed very much. For those looking for relaxation, tranquility and a cozy vacation home from whose sofa you can watch the Nordlys, this accommodation is perfect. Thanks, Frank!

Hergunn was an absolutely beautiful host. So friendly and so welcoming. The Dome was absolutely perfect! Such a beautiful place to sleep and watch the stars & northern lights! Hergunn also made sure she messaged us whenever the northern lights were visible from the Dome which was such a great touch. The access to the apartment with the bathroom and kitchen was such a great touch too and super helpful for us as we love to cook food when travelling for such a long time. I hope we will be back one day & will definitely be staying here if it’s available at the time! Definitely would recommend if you are ever lucky enough to stay at Hergunns place! Sooo beautiful and so thankful we got to stay here💗💗💗💗

The best place for couples! Charming view for the beach, simple and perfect division of the cabin. The host allow us using the hot tub despite of the rain but it was sensational with the rain! Certainly I will visit again.
