Cabin vacation rentals in Norway

We stayed here for our honeymoon and WOW what an amazing place. The views from the cabin are insane, we were snowed in for a few days but the cabin was the perfect place for a few slow days! Ellen-Kristine and Bjørn we're really helpful and quick to respond when we had any questions. They even got a friendly neighbour to check we were ok when the unexpected snow arrived! For outdoor activities the location is perfect, Stranda itself is very quiet, it's a fairly long drive (40mins) for any nice restaurants, but that was fine with us!

The stay at the cottage was super nice, and the location is fantastic. We also got up to the cottage relatively well in winter with front drive and despite the iced path:) The hot tub is great even if you have it a little less private than expected, as there is another cabin right next door. There was also construction work about 100 m away, but you haven't heard from the hut 👍

We had a wonderful time and immediately felt very comfortable. The hot tube is sensational! If you book this beautiful house in winter, it is recommended to arrive with a car with spikes.

The cabin is cozy and located in beautiful fjord surrounded by Lyngen Alps. We felt immediately like home, everything was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen is perfectly equipped and overall we were provided everything we might need. There are multiple hikes starting right at the cabin, nearest well stocked grocery is ~20 minutes drive, there is possibility to rent snowshoes or book tour just 2 minutes away. Jacuzzi was perfect to relax after the day and to watch the sky. We had amazing time there and can recommend to anyone who likes nature and tranquility. Jenny and Johan are friendly & kind people which answered any questions super fast. They provided us with helpful local tips and clear check-in and check-out instructions.

We had an amazing weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location is fantastic, and the host was kind and very easy to communicate with. We highly recommend staying for more than three days to fully appreciate everything. Adding a table beside the jacuzzi for convenience would be a nice touch, but overall, it was a wonderful experience. We can’t wait to return when we have the chance!

Honestly by far the best B&B we have ever stayed in. I surprised my wife for her 30th birthday and was safe to say she was over the moon, not wanting to come home. we were blown away by the beautiful scenic views from the cabin and felt so surreal. Experiencing snow like we never have before. we made the most of the cosy cabin with it's log burner over looking the frozen lake. Marianne and Emily were extremely helpful especially after being snowed in and not able to drive off the icy drive, they responded making sure we were safe and had everything we need, also doing what they could by seeking help from their end if we needed. would highly recommend to anyone! we will be telling our friends and family when we are back in the UK. thank you again for a holiday of a lifetime! Had a great weekend with friends with great food and relaxation in the hot tub. The cabin was bright and cozy and the surrounding area was scenic and peaceful and with a great view that could imagine a trip here in the summer when the days are brighter🤩.

a very special place with soul peace and coziness. the jacuzzi is a dream after a long day of skiing (only 25 min away) . The cabin is very well equipped and is REALLY cozy. can be difficult to get to with sneezing. nice with two toilets. huge recommendation from here and we would love to come again.

We stayed in Bredo's cottage for the second time and were very satisfied again! The location is really great if you just want to walk from the house, go sledding and cross-country skiing. The small ski resort is a 10-minute drive away, great for children. Last time we needed snow chains, this time it worked out great without them.

Beautiful rustic place and no frills! The dog pack was unfortunately absent but the llamas were lovely and very social neighbors! The sauna is great and the cabin is small but adorably decorated!

Another fantastic weekend at the cabin Havbris❤️ This is the third time we rent the cabin, we are happy regardless of the weather. This weekend there was a storm and hurricane in the castes and it was absolutely magical. A great cabin in beautiful surroundings with all facilities. Outdoor jacuzzi and sauna, tasteful and cozy both inside and outside. Clean and welcoming as always😃 A wonderful host who always offers that little extra😃 We wil be returning soon😃❤️

The accommodation is as described, very cozy and in a very quiet area surrounded by nature. The house is always warm and has everything you need. The attention from the hosts was unbeatable, always answering our questions and helping with information about the area.

It's our second trip there and there will be more trips. There are several good reasons for that. Both the space and service are on top of the best.

We had an amazing stay at the Ju-than cabin! The cabin was clean, cozy and well equipped with everything we needed for a few relaxing nights. The location is perfect to enjoy the outdoors. Thank you so much for a great stay!

WOW! Just WOW! We, my friend Mustafa and my daughter loved the place. It looked wonderful, sweet and with a warm home feeling. The view was amazing! The sheep walking past or sitting outside our window funny and sweet. So many beautiful places to walk and see. Randi, thank you so much! Best place ever! You made it a wonderful 'home'. I/we will definitely come back!

Great, spacious and very well equipped log cabin. The cabin is close to Haukelifjell ski center and a fantastic mountain world and has parking space for 3-4 cars. Sveinung had arranged clearing and it was definitely required. We rented the cabin with an annex and it gave us 7 men very ample bolting space - we could easily be twice as many. There is a very well equipped kitchen and it suited us foody guys very well. The only thing we couldn't do was the stomp. It probably requires even more patient and prolonged firing than the 6 hours we spent. Anyway an incredibly great stay and a nice and accommodating host.

Ritah's place is the perfect place to wind down. With the ferry from Hasnes, it is super easy to drive to the cabin (count 1h to the ferry, 40 to 60 min ferry and then 40 min drive to the cabin). Roads are cleared on a regular basis, so even with a lot of snow we did not have any issues driving to and from the cabin. Instructions to get there and get the hut set were super clear and Ritah was very responsive before the booking but also during, when we could not figure out the sauna right away 🙈 We felt at home as soon as we set foot in the little cabin. There is definitely a lot of memories in this cabin and we felt privileged that Ritah opened her home on the platform for non islanders like us to enjoy. We are always picky to choose homes that follow the true Airbnb spirit (not the white walls / hotels kind of homes) and where we can feel at home. Ritah's cabin did not disappoint! Bonus: it is also the perfect place to spot Aurora's when the sky is clear!!!

Absolutely stunning log cabin in a very peaceful location. The hosts were very welcoming and we had everything we needed for the stay. Highly recommend the sauna too. The cabin was very warm despite it being very cold outside. Would definitely recommend!
