Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Norway

Marion’s place is a little slice of heaven! Such an amazing view over the fjord, this rustic yet cosy, comfortable home has with everything we needed… (including fluffy towels- a very welcome change!) We enjoyed some down time from our busy holiday schedule, and loved soaking up the location - from coffee by the lounge windows,; a read on the patio, cozying up with blankets. Marion has truly thought of enerything. The laundry in the bathroom is probably the most functional one we’ve had on out travels. A quick 10 min drive to town too to cafes and supermarket, and of course the gondola for amazing fjord views Lastly , Marion was a lovely responsive host, very helpful with local recommendations. If we ever find ourselves in this part of the world - we will definitely stay again!

we found villa tippetue easily, very nicely located with views of the Sognefjord. we did indeed have to go through a piece of forest of about 70m first. unfortunately not much luck with the weather, we did see a little sun every day. the cottage has a very nice terrace with views of the fjord and a cozy living room. there were maps available for walks nearby, also detailed laminated maps. unfortunately the very local part was not present, probably accidentally taken by a previous visitor. We downloaded the Norwegian maps app Norgeskart. The walk stupet naveset tronvik - on the flank there - is also well indicated. There is a ladder and a section where ropes assist the descent (our dog could easily find his own way around it). The ground was still quite wet and sometimes slippery (early June) in hoyanger also nice hiking. To flam it is a good 3h drive. Recommended!

The house is really a place to feel at home - even it is only for a few days. The pictures in AirBnB show nothing more than the real beauty of this place. Sometimes the view is even better than on the pics. ;) The farm with the sheep is perfect for kids and please ask Ingvild for Lego - the kids love the box full of fun, especially on rainy days. :) The house itself has everything you need to have a good time at Ingvild and Lasses place. I totally recommend to enjoy a few days on this beautiful, cozy and relaxing place in Sæbø. :)

Beautiful farmhouse located on a peaceful lake in the quiet countryside! Loved it there!

Of all the places we’ve stayed on vacations to date, this was the most beautiful. So peaceful, so quiet and private. And there was plenty of room for my family of four. Definitely one of our favorites!

Wow! What an amazing place! It is like staying at a friends home - super comfortable, homey, and relaxing. The "sun room" was enchanting and we sat there for fours enjoying the different moods of the fjord. The location was beyond anything I can describe - it was so quiet! Lindy was very responsive and quick. There was nothing that could not have asked for!

Such a dreamy and cozy house! The view from the house was stunning (including from the jacuzzi). Also super well equipped. Petter was a great host and provided some local tips. Thanks a lot for the stay! We will definitely recommend the place!

Family of 4 who had a wonderful stay at Audun's house. It was clean and nice, and we had everything we needed in the house. The children had a great time in the heated pool. There was walking distance to great beaches, and a few minutes by car to all kinds of shops. Audun was very friendly, and had very good communication and gave us all the necessary info in a proactive way, which simplified the stay. Will be happy to come back😊👍

Nina is a very lovely host. She responds immediately and helped us with finding activities and things to do in the area. She also invited us over for some mulled wine and prepared a bonfire for us. The view from the house is amazing, the interior is cosy, perfect for a cosy getaway

We would love to give more than 5 stars! We have been there for the 2nd time and it will certainly not be the last time. The house, the garden, the location and the view are simply fantastic! It really is a special place :) Jan Åsmund and Ingvild are also great hosts who are always friendly and easy to reach. It is also worth renting the boat, as it is a good way to explore the fjord. We 100% recommend the place.

The place was absolutely perfect, I have only positive things to say. Shielded from the city, but still very short drive to the city. Great! Kamilla was very friendly and helpful with messages. 10/10.

Tremendous stay. Cabin is located in an extremely peaceful part of the forest, and the log cabin makes you feel right at home. Incredible opportunity to connect with nature, in a fabulous spot.

The private pool was a highlight — fully enclosed and perfect for relaxing with the family in complete privacy. The host was helpful and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Beautiful stay. Exactly what we were looking for. A beautiful cottage with a fantastic view of the fjord and a quiet location. The highlight was the hot tub. Highly recommended.

Perfect stay to get away from the busy daily world. The only thing we heard while sitting outside in the jacuzzi, was the chirping of birds. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, and it's very close to beautiful walking spots.

What a great cottage and a great place!! The view is breathtaking and there are very nice hiking trails to walk from the cottage. The communication is very good and the cottage is full of comforts and during the whole holiday contact with the owners is very easy. How we enjoyed 5 days Norway and we will miss the place! Vidsyn Midjås is a real gem, it is beautifully made for guests to have everything they need and more. The facilities are great, private bathroom in beautiful style, kitchen in stylish design with access to breakfast, and even a beautiful basket to bring food to the cabin. Lovely with a sauna and swimming after a mountain hike! And not least, it is absolutely fantastic to sit outside the cabin and just let the view of the beautiful valley sink in - it is really a balm for the soul! You won't want to leave! This is the place to go to relax and create good memories! ❤️

We loved staying here! It was such a beautiful place and a great way to appreciate the fjords. The house had everything we needed. It was well stocked with an impressive library. I could recommend without reservations.

This house? An absolute hit! Right on the coast, with a view that is so beautiful that you have to pinch yourself every now and then. Highlights? There are many! – The hikes in the mountains? Great! – The beaches? Postcard level! – The island of Leka? A trip you can't miss. By the way, sleeping was completely overrated – we wanted to enjoy every minute here. Our trick: Just don't go to bed at all. Worked great (well, almost...). A big thank you to Snorre and Britta! With this house, you have created a real piece of happiness by the sea. We'll be back – whether you like it or not😉.
